Since the human act to pursue beauty is the most natural desire and instinct, the demand for a new beauty trend in line with the 4th industrial revolution era, in which aesthetic interest in human appearance management along with the importance of appearance is increasing day by day is very necessary at this time. In order to derive the source from art, which is closely related to beauty studies, the shape and texture of women's hair design appearing in 'Chinoiserie' style Western paintings that were popular in Europe and France in the 18th century. As a result of the study, the hair design of women appearing in four Western paintings showed characteristics of each individual shape, texture, and color. Through this study, the foundation stone for the development of a new mode hairstyle for modern people living in a rapidly changing era while quarreling with the village, and the foundation stone for the development of various beauty contents.

There was much previous work to represent effects which are used in the real world paintings. In case of Western paintings like as watercolor or oil painting, largely conversion techniques from photo images were researched. However, in case of Oriental paintings, the development of a conversion technique is not easy because a few strokes are used to represent objects. Then, model-based approach was studied to draw Oriental paintings. In this paper, a model-based approach for Oriental paintings is described. In our model, to represent the diffusion effects, LEM(Local Equilibrium Model) is proposed. LEM is a method to calculate the movement of water and ink effectively. Also, a layer model for paper is proposed to discriminate wet or dry state. And a brush model to draw strokes is described.

오늘날 한국 패션산업은 개화기 이후 우리의 복식 생활 자체가 서양화되면서 외국 문물의 무분별한 도입과 함께 단절되었던 전통성을 복원하여 현대의 시점에서 재창조 해야한다는 당위성을 안고 있다. 이에 현대에는 주체의식을 가지고 전통요소를 응용한 디자인 연구가 많이 시도되고 있으나, 현대 복식의 한 분야인 웨딩드레스에서는 이러한 시도가 이제 시작되는 단계로 연구가 미비한 실정이다. (중략)

서양화가 김해곤씨 3년여에 걸친 연구개발 성공 항균성 탁월, 폐자원 활용으로 환경보존 효과 커 감귤 껍질을 이용해 만든 종이가 나와 화제가 되고 있다. 서양화가이자 제주점아트문화연구소장인 김해곤(43)씨가 그 주인공. 이번에 개발된 종이는 항균성 및 흡수성, 통기성, 강도 등이 우수할 뿐만 아니라 연간 5만여 톤에 이르던 감귤껍질 폐기량을 줄일 수 있어 환경보존 측면에서도 크게 기여할 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.

일본에서 포장기계의 시작은 주로 종전 후의 시기로, 사탕이나 비누의 포장 등의 자동화에서부터 시작됐다. 국산 기술에 의한 개발도 다수 있었지만, 식품의 서양화, 슈퍼마켓의 발달 등 서양에서부터의 도입과 관련해 초기의 포장기계는 유럽과 미국에서부터의 수입, 기술 제휴, 또는 어느 기종을 모티브로 한 국산화 등에 의한 보급이 중심이 되었다. 본 고에서는 당시 일본시장에 존재하지 않았던 포장기계(시스템)를 시장 조사, 기술 제휴, 또는 수입 판매로 일본 시장에 도입하고, 그 후 어려운 보급 기간을 거쳐 약 40년 후인 현재 대표적인 포장기계로 확립된 포장기계 3종류를 소개하고자 한다.

서양에 레오나르도 다빈치의 <모나리자>가 있다면 우리에게는 혜원 신윤복의 <미인도>가 있다. <모나리자>가 야릇한 미소로 보는 사람들의 시선을 사로잡는다면, <미인도>는 단아하고 청순하지만 한편으론 에로틱한 모습으로 보는 이의 마음을 끌어당긴다. 또 네덜란드에 브뤼헐의 풍속화가 있다면 조선에는 단원 김홍도의 풍속화가 있다. 이렇게 세계적인 서양 미술작품과 견줘도 결코 뒤지지 않을 우리만의 소중한 그림이 있지만, 우리에겐 혜원과 단원이 전부다. 많은 서양화가와 그들의 작품, 서양화 기법을 알고 있으면서도 정작 소중한 우리 그림에 대해서는 잘 모르고 있기 때문이다. 안타깝게도 고구려 고분벽화 <수렵도>와 안견의 <몽유도원도>가 역사 시험에 나오기 때문에 외웠을 뿐, 이해하고 감상하기 위한 노력은 부족했던 것이다.

각 나라마다 고유한 음악이 있으며 또한 그 음악을 표현하는 전통적인 방식이 존재한다. ㄱ러나 서양음악의 도입으로 우리음악의 표현까지도 서양화가 되어있다. 전통음악을 원형대로 보존하기 위해서는 선조들이 사용하였던 기보법을 사용하는 것이 올바른 일이라고 여겨지므로, 우리나라의 전통악보 중 그 우수성이 인정되는 정간보를 컴퓨터를 통하여 편리하게 처리 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 정간보에는 악기마다 서로 다른 표현 방법들이 존재하므로, 이번 시스템은 그 중에서 단소를 위한 처리를 주된 목표로, 컴퓨터를 이용한 기보법과 오선보로의 변환, 그리고 마디신호로의 변환과 연주를 중점으로 개발하였다.

Non-photorealistic Rendering(NPR) is a method that can be used to simulate a wide range of materials used in visual arts. Currently, there is lack of availability for oriental-style rendering in 3D animation in contrast to the commonly available western-style rendering. In this paper, we combine the wash drawing technique and NPR to create an oriental-style shader for 3D animation. Our approach makes use of the Maya Embeded Language(MEL) to implement this new technique.
