  • 언어의 내적 특성을 반영하는 의미 문체의 검사 및 교정은 언어의 형태적인 면과 관련있는 단순한 철자 검사 및 교정에 비해 더 난해하고 복잡한 양상을 띤다. 본 논문이 제안하는 의미 정보를 이용한 명사 분류 방법은 의미와 문체 오류의 포착과 수정 기능을 향상시키기 위한 방법의 하나이다. 이 논문은 문맥상 용법이 어긋나는 서술어를 교정하기 위해 명사 의미 분류방법을 서술어/논항의 통사 의미적 관계 분석에 이용하여 의미 규칙을 세우는 과정을 서술한다. 여기서 논항인 명사의 의미 정보를 체계적으로 분류하기 위해 시소러스 기법과 의미망을 응용한다. 서술어와 논항 사이의 통사 의미적 관계에 따라 의미 문체 오류를 검사하고 교정함으로써 규칙들을 일반화하여 구축하게 하고 이미 존재하고 있는 규칙을 단순화함으로써 한국어 문법 검사기의 기능을 보완한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cognitive demands level of the description about 'element', 'periodic table', and 'atom' on the 'science 2' textbooks by the 2007 revised curriculum. The three types of CAT (Curriculum Analysis Taxonomy) have been used to analyze the cognitive demands level of those contents on the 6 kinds of 'science 2' textbooks. The cognitive demands level about 'elements' on many textbooks is a late concrete operational stage, because the descriptions of 'element' are pure substances or no more split into anything simpler substances. That cognitive demands level about one textbook is a early formal operational stage, because the descriptions 'element' are a substance of one kind of atom. The cognitive demands level of 'periodic table' on many textbooks is a late concrete operational stage, because the descriptions about 'periodic table' are the hierarchical classification for the categorizing reality. And the cognitive demands level of 'periodic table' is a early formal operational stage, because the descriptions about 'periodic table' are a collection of 'families' or two-way gradation of elements. That cognitive demands level about one textbook is a late formal operational stage, because the descriptions of 'periodic table' are a complex classificatory structure linking atomic structure. The cognitive demands level about 'atom' is a early formal operational stage because of the descriptions as "atoms have structure, some atoms are the same, or others are different".

Student difficulties in constructed-response mathematics assessments: A case study of writing activities for low-performing first-year high school students (수학 서술형 평가의 어려움과 지도 방안: 고교 1학년 노력형 학생의 쓰기 활동 사례 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze low-performing high school students' difficulties in constructed response (CR) mathematics assessments and explore ways to use writing activities to support student learning. The participants took CR assessments, engaged in guided writing activities across 15 lessons, and provided responses to our interviews. The study identified 20 types of student difficulties, which were sorted into two main categories: "mathematical difficulties" and "CR difficulties." The difficult nature of mathematics as a school subject included a lack of understanding of mathematical concepts, students' difficulty with mathematical symbols and notations, and struggles with word problems. Challenges specific to CR assessments included students' difficulties arising from the testing conditions unlike those of multiple-choice items, and included issues related to constructing appropriate responses and psychological barriers. To address these challenges in CR assessments, the study conducted guided writing activities as an intervention, through which six themes were identified: (1) internalization of mathematical concepts, (2) mathematical thinking through relational understanding, (3) diverse problem-solving methods, (4) use of mathematical symbols, (5) reflective thinking, and (6) strategies to overcome psychological barriers.

A study on a local descriptor and entropy-based similarity measure for object recognition system being robust to local illumination change (지역적 밝기 변화에 강인한 물체 인식을 위한 지역 서술자와 엔트로피 기반 유사도 척도에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a local descriptor and a similarity measure that is robust to radiometic variations. The proposed local descriptor is made up Haar wavelet filter and it can contain frequency informations about the feature point and its surrounding pixels in fixed region, and it is able to describe feature point clearly under ununiform illumination condition. And a proposed similarity measure is combined with conventional entropy-based similarity and another similarities that is generated by local descriptor. It can reflect similarities between image regions accurately under radiometic illumination variations. We validate with experimental results on some images and we confirm that the proposed algorithm is more superior than conventional algorithms.

  • The argument-structure distributions of predicates in the speech of two roca-type aphasic patients and one Conduction-type patient are compared with both matched controls and each other on the basis of narrative production data. Whereas English-speaking agrammatics have been reported to have difficulties producing noncopular unaccusative predicates (Kegl 1995) Korean-speaking agrammatics are found not to have particular difficulties with unaccusative predicates. On the assumption that agrammatics lack specific syntactic knowledge for the processing of displaced arguments from their lexically specified positions. it is proposed that unaccusatives in Korean do not involve the displacement of arguments for Case-theoretic reasons or involve a vacuous movement. if any.

  • Metonymy can be said to be the only language's meaning shifting technique that exists in the domain of a single human thought in order to obtain a transparent cognitive effect. The purpose of this study was to analyze the 'descriptive metonymy' of the advertising content language constructed by the cognitive principle and to find a way to use it in media language education for social and cultural interests and reflection of college students. The metonymy used in advertising media contrasts with the difficulty of the metaphorical interpretation of "opaque and distant" reasoning. Storyboards, mostly focused on human emotions and behaviors, used metonymy's 'transparent and easy meaning shifting technique'. I have found that I can expect the efficiency of media language education that contains the interest and sociocultural interest, self-reflection, and future imagination of college students. Now, there is less need to perform cognitive reasoning for advertisements with ambiguous metaphor techniques. Lastly, in order to produce successful advertising content, we expect to use the language technique of 'narrative metonymy' with warm feelings of humans, and acknowledge the lack of quantitative research and leave it as a task for the next research.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같이 네 가지이다. 첫째, dual-strategy hypothesis 모델의 이론적인 배경을 서술한다. 둘째, 보행시작 시 (Gait Initiation)와 장애물 보행시작 (Stepping over obstacles)시의 motor task를 dual-strategy hypothesis 모델의 관정에서 서술한다. 셋째, 파킨슨씨 환자군과 뇌졸증 환자군을 이 모델의 관점에서 서술한다. 마지막으로, dual strategy hypothesis모델의 임상적용 가능성에 대해서 간단히 서술하는 것이다.

A Comparative Analysis of Fact-Checking News Fairness in South Korean Broadcasting (한국 방송의 팩트 체크 뉴스 공정성 비교 분석)

  • To compare whether broadcast fact-checking news, which aims to overcome the limitations of objective reporting, ensures fairness, we analyzed 227 fact-checked news stories aired on the main news of KBS, MBC SBS, TV Chosun, JTBC MBN, and YTN from January 1, 2022 to May 31, 2022, when the 20th presidential and local election campaigns were held. The analysis showed clear differences in fact-checking targets and narratives by broadcasters. In general, MBC, JTBC,and YTN were more likely to favor liberal parties such as the Democratic Party, while TV Chosun had a lot of narratives favoring the conservative camp. SBS and MBN were relatively neutral. KBS seemed to be trying to remain outwardly neutral. SBS and TV Chosun were the most active in fact-checking, but they covered a wide range of issues and were characterized by a bias toward contextualizing issues that viewers were curious about, rather than clarifying the facts. The projection of ideological bias by broadcasters in fact-checking narratives is a challenge that needs to be overcome.

  • 대학 교육현장에서 수많은 비정형화된 데이터가 생산되고 있는데 그중 관심 있게 볼 부분은 학생들의 서술적 강의평가이며, 본 논문에서는 대학에서 시행하는 서술적 강의평가를 활용하여 컴퓨터를 활용하는 수업에서 학생들이 원하는 상호작용을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 빅데이터에서 활용하는 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하였으며 분석결과 컴퓨터관련 관련 수업에서 필요한 학습자 상호작용은 주로 흥미, 기회, 열정, 재미, 참여, 유익, 친절 등으로 나타났다. 현재 5점 척도로 보여 지는 강의평가 점수는 진정 학습자가 원하는 것이 무엇인지 파악이 어렵기 때문에 관련 연구가 지속적으로 필요하다. 또한 향후 컴퓨터를 활용하지 않은 수업과 비교함으로써 대학 컴퓨터 관련 수업의 특징을 구분할 필요가 있을 것으로 여겨진다.

  • 본 연구는 시맨틱웹 응용의 중심 기술인 웹 온톨로지의 표현과 추론을 위해 서술 논리와 규칙언어를 기반으로하는 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 현재 웹 온톨로지 표현 언어인 OWL DL은 서술 논리에 근거하여 표현되는 것이나, 기계나 온톨로지 공학자가 OWL로 기술된 온톨로지를 직관적으로 이해하고 공유할 수 있는 형식적이고 명시적인 온톨로지의 지식 표현은 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 시맨틱웹이 목적하는 웹 온톨로지 구축을 위한 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법으로 웹 온톨로지 모델링 계층을 제안하고, 제안된 각 계층에 따라 서술 논리의 TBox와 ABox의 구조와 SWRL을 기반으로 지식을 표현하는 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 웹 온톨로지 모델링 방법의 성능 검증을 위해 제안 방법에 따라 웹 온톨로지를 구축하였고, SPARQL과 TopBraid의 DL Inference를 이용하여 구축된 웹 온톨로지의 성능을 검증하였다.
