Security-Enhanced Local Process Execution Scheme in Cloud Computing Environments (클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 보안성 향상을 위한 로컬 프로세스 실행 기술)

  • In the current cloud environments, the applications are executed on the remote cloud server, and they also utilize computing resources of the remote cloud server such as physical memory and CPU. Therefore, if remote server is exposed to security threat, every applications in remote server can be victim by several security-attacks. Especially, despite many advantages, both individuals and businesses often have trouble to start the cloud services according to the malicious administrator of the cloud server. We propose a security-enhanced local process executing scheme resolving vulnerability of current cloud computing environments. Since secret data is stored in the local, we can protect secret data from security threats of the cloud server. By utilizing computing resource of local computer instead of remote server, high-secure processes can be set free from vulnerability of remote server.

  • Requirements engineering can be seen as proceeding with various processes and activities such as extraction, analysis, specification, management, and verification without temporal and spatial constraints in the development environment of information systems that are becoming large and decentralized. Developing requirements well and conducting continuous evaluation and management is the shortcut to success in project management, and it is recognized as a very important matter in relation to requirements in the information system audit. When we conduct information system audit and conducting projects subject to audit, we need to improve the required engineering aspect. Therefore, this study derives inspection items suitable for the target project by referring to the audit inspection manual and audit inspection guide when conducting the current audit, and relates to the required engineering aspect among the contents of the inspection guide for each business type that is the basis for deriving the inspection items were derived for each audit point/audit area for the project management and quality assurance project type corresponding to the inspection items. The suitability of the extracted occupation items was verified through a questionnaire survey by experts.

  • The level of transference of NGN is beginning as the operation of Access Gateway in korea at present, but NGN will keep developing continuously to the NGN integrated network until 2010. This research is finding the meaning and assignment of NGN QoS to deduct how to manage the control system and presenting the QoS control process and trial framework. The trial framework is the modeling of the QoS measurement metrics, the measurement time schedule, the section, hierarchy, instrument, equipment and method of measurement and the series of cycle & the methodology about analysis of the result of measurement. The objective standard of quality in communication service is guaranteed not by itself but by controlling and measuring continuously. Especially it's very important time to maintain the research about NGN QoS measurement and control because the big conversion of new network technology paradigm is now spreading.

  • In smart grid, enhancement of efficiency and interoperability of electric power system is achieved through the connection with outer network, and this induces that power grid system is threatened increasingly, becomes the main target of cyber terrorism, and is sincerely required to design the secure power system. Although SSDLC(Secure System Development Life Cycle) is used for risk management from the design phase, traditional development life cycle is somewhat limited for satisfaction of information security indicator of power control system. Despite that power control system should reflect control entities of information security considering its own characteristics, validation elements are insufficient to apply into real tasks based on existing compliance. To make design of diagnostic model and assessment process for power control system possible and to give a direction for information security and present related indicator, we propose the new risk management framework of power control system which is applied operational security controls and standard architecture presented by IEC 62351 TC 57 with enterprise risk management framework.

  • This paper is aimed at defining items of fault, and then constructing rules of fault diagnosis and recovery using INBANCA technology for the purpose of managing the weh server. The fault items of web server consist of the process fault, server overload, network interface fault, configuration and performance fault. Based on these items, the actual fault management is carried out fault referencing. In order to reference the fault, we have formulated the system-level fault diagnosis production rule and the service-level fault diagnosis rule, conjunction with translating management knowledge into active network. Also, adaptive recovery mechanism of web server is applied to defining recovery rule and constructing case library for case-based web server fault recovery. Finally, through the experiment, fault environment and applicability of each proposed production rule and recovering scheme are presented to verify justification of proposed diagnosis rules and recovery mechanism for fault management. An intelligent case-based fault management scheme proposed in this paper can minimize an effort of web master to remove fault incurred web administration and operation.

  • Generally, project audit provides the service which accomplishes a project successfully by checking the management activity of information system project, indicating a controversial point and reflecting the improvement issues based on project audit check list. In addition, the projects are managed by using the project management maturity model based on process. However, the effect is not big as we except projects performance of real world. In this paper. to solve these problems, the project management maturity evaluation model which is connected with project audit check list and organizational maturity model survey items is designed. Thus, we propose the model which can improve the project performance through the project evaluation of customer's project and development part and the evaluation of organization level as we design that it is possible to not only audit the project but also evaluate it before and after the project.

  • The ILOF project addresses the needs of logistics industrial organizations to reduce information processing time, improve added and residual value of information and reduce processing and transportation costs. It deals with the information supply chain information systems shared by vertical partner as important entity, whose performance and optimization very significantly affects the efficiency and performance of logistics industries. This paper deals with logistics information exchange systems based on supply chain management, focusing on sharing database and processes between partners such as shipper, logistics broker, transportation company, shipping company etc., for smoothing the information flow, enhancing consumer service and reducing communication fee and labour costs. The significance of contribution of this research is the provision of a model for logistics information exchange including entity relationship diagram, data flow diagram and functions which is able to facilitate the formulation of a customer driven supply chain information network, there by enhancing the competitive edge of companies in logistics industries on local and global basis.

  • The purpose of the study is to suggest a new approach to the terminal operators in order for them to efficiently control their operation cost and support the strategic decision making system and build a performance evaluation process through the systematic cost analysis approach. This study implemented terminal cost analysis based on the traditional cost system, ABC and TDABC and compared the results of each approach. Throughout the study, the usefulness of TDABC was proved in finding operational problems and suggesting countermeasures for improving cost effectiveness and minimizing unused cost.

In 2006, AJ Rent a Car declared customer satisfaction management as its vision to make a breakthrough. Through various service innovation efforts, AJ has been successfully offering meaningful and differentiated values to the customers. As results, the complaints rate has decreased, while service quality index has significantly increased. These service quality indicators have led to improved customer satisfaction level which was measured by re-purchase intention and customer satisfaction index, and AJ outran its major competitors in these dimensions of competition. The first key success factor of AJ is its effective service system. AJ manages the VOC, ERP, and CRM system in a well organized manner. AJ's another key success factor is a effective service process, which helps the organization share and respond to customer complaints in an efficient way.   • In order to prepare for the introduction of the E-Discovery system from the United States and to cope with some causable changes of legal systems, we propose a general E-Discovery process and essential tasks of the each phase. The proposed process model is designed by the analysis of well-known projects such as EDRM, The Sedona Conference, which are advanced research for the standardization of E-Discovery task procedures and for the supply of guidelines to hands-on workers. In addition, Machine Learning Algorithms, Open-source libraries for the Information Retrieval and Distributed Processing technologies based on the Hadoop for big data are introduced and its application methods on the E-Discovery work scenario are proposed. All this information will be useful to vendors or people willing to develop the E-Discovery service solution. Also, it is very helpful to company owners willing to rebuild their business process and it enables people who are about to face a major lawsuit to handle a situation effectively.
