Genealogy grouping for services of message post-office box based on fuzzy-filtering (퍼지필터링 기반의 메시지 사서함 서비스를 위한 genealogy 그룹화)

  • Structuring mechanism, important to serve messages in post-office box structure, is to construct the hierarchy of classes according to the contents of message objects. This Paper Proposes $\alpha$-cut based genealogy grouping method to cluster a lot of structured objects in application domain. The proposed method decides the relationship first by semantic similarity relation and fuzzy relation, and then performs the grouping by operations of search( ), insert() and hierarchy(). This hierarchy structure makes it easy to process group-related processing tasks such as answering queries, discriminating objects, finding similarities among objects, etc. The proposed post-office box structure may be efficiently used to serve and manage message objects by the creation of groups. The Proposed method is tested for 5500 message objects and compared with other methods such as non-grouping, BGM, RGM, OGM.

ZigBee Service Gateway Enabling Dynamic Reconfiguration (동적 설정 가능한 지그비 서비스 게이트웨이 구조)

  • ZigBee is one of wireless communication standards and many applications based on Zigbee have been developing for commercial applications. Most of those applications require links to Internet like Zigbee service gateways. However, ZigBee service gateway should provides following functions to be effectively utilized itself: translation of messages between diverse ZigBee application profiles and message formats used in Internet, addition/removal of a new ZigBee service without stopping existing services according to addition/removal of a Zigbee node, and no transmission of unwanted packets to ZigBee network. Therefore, this paper proposes a new type of ZigBee Service Gateway, called ZiGate to provide the functions. The proposed ZiGate is capable of re-configurating message translation modules required in case of addition/removal of nodes and doesn't transmit unnecessary packets to the ZigBee networks by synchronizing itself with ZigBee network. And ZiGate provides translation modules between messages defined in Zigbee application profiles and both text-based and binary-based messages used in Internet. In this paper we implements the ZiGate and evaluates it on the test bed. This evaluations show that the proposed ZiGate works efficiently.

Understanding the intention to use Multimedia messaging services (멀티미디어 메시지 서비스 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • MMS (Multimedia Messaging Services) is one of the most basic services of mobile communication as well as a promising m-commerce enabling service. In our study, we hypothesize that the personality-based and cognitive traits of TAM and social cognitive theory are antecedents to MMS acceptance asking: what are the key determinants of intention to use MMS? An empirical investigation of 1,016 mobile phone users in South Korea was conducted. PLS results provided support for the effects of self-efficacy, perceived ease of use, relative advantage, credibility on attitude toward MMS use and strong support for the effect of attitude toward intention to use MMS. Our results provided a detailed account of the key forces underlying users intention to use MMS including personal and cognitive trait measures. Theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed in the paper.

  • 오늘날 우리는 맡은 발전을 거듭한 지능망 서비스를 일상 생활에서 직간접적으로 접하고 있으며. 서비스가 다양화 되고 그 품질이 중요시 되면서 TCAP(Transaction Capability Application Part)의 높은 성능과 안정성에 대한 요구가 증대되어 왔다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 고성능 무중단 TCAP 모델은 원격지에 위치한 다중 TCU(Transaction Capability User)에게 TCP/IP 소켓을 제공하고 폴링(Polling)을 수행하여 TCU상태를 효과적으로 관리하며, 네트워크 장애나 하위 스택 프로세스 문제로 서비스가 지속될 수 없는 경우 이중화 메커니즘을 적용하여 서비스의 중단을 최소화 한다. TCU 어플리케이션 개발자를 위해 이중화에 대한 고려 엄이 TCAP 메시지론 사용할 수 있도록 API를 제공 하여 실제 서비스 적용에 범용성과 편리성을 제공한다. 기존에 개발되어 사용되고 있는 TCAP보다 메시지 처리 및 전송 효율을 높이기 위한 프로세스 구조와 무중단 서비스 제공을 위한 이중화 모델을 설계하고 구현하였다. 설계 및 구현 내용을 검증하기 위해 ITU-T에서 권고하는 적합성 시험을 실시하고, 테스트 베드를 구축 해 성능 시험을 수행 한다.

  • 워크플로우 시스템은 비즈니스 환경에서 프로세스의 자동화 수행을 통해 업무 처리의 효율성 및 성능을 극대화시켜주는 미들웨어 시스템이며 워크플로우 엔진은 이러한 비즈니스 서비스의 실질적인 수행을 컨트롤 및 관리해주는 역할을 한다. 워크플로우 클라이언트로부터의 서비스 요청에 대한 처리를 위해 워크플로우 엔진은 엔진 내부의 핵심 컴포넌트들의 연동에 의해 생성되는 서비스 인스턴스들의 처리 행위를 통해 서비스를 수행하며, 서비스 처리를 하면서 발생되는 이벤트들에 대해서 로그를 기록한다. 이러한 로그 데이터들은 워크플로우 모니터링 분석에 중요한 근거 자료로서 사용되며, 워크플로우 웨어하우징 및 마이닝등의 분야에서 주요 근간 데이터로서 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 자체 제작된 e-chautauqua 초대형 워크플로우 시스템을 배경으로 초대형 워크플로우 라는 환경에서 대용량의 로그를 어떻게 구성하는지에 대해서도 살펴볼 것이며, 워크플로우 엔진을 구성하는 핵심 컴포넌트들의 연동에 의해 수행되는 서비스 인스턴스들의 이벤트들이 어떠한 모습으로 로그 메시지를 구성하게 되는지에 대한 로그 메시지 포맷에 대한 전반적인 워크플로우 로깅 메커니즘에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

  • The growth of computer resource and network speed has increased requests for the use of remotely located computer systems by connecting through computer networks. This phenomenon has hoisted research activities for application service provision that uses server-based remote computing paradigm. The server-based remote computing paradigm has been developed as the ASP (Application Service Provision) model, which provides remote users through application sharing protocol to application programs. Security requirement such as confidentiality, availability, integrity should be satisfied to provide ASP service using centralized computing system. Existing Telnet or FTP service for a remote computing systems have satisfied security requirement by a simple access control to files and/or data. But windows-based centralized computing system is vulnerable to confidentiality, availability, integrity where many users use the same application program installed in the same computer. In other words, the computing system needs detailed security level for each user different from others, such that only authorized user or group of users can run some specific functional commands for the program. In this paper, we propose windows based centralized computing system that sets security policies for each user for the use of instructions of the application programs, and performs access control to the instructions based on the security policies. The system monitors all user messages which are executed through graphical user interface by the users connecting to the system. Ail Instructions, i.e. messages, for the application program are now passed to authorization process that decides if an Instruction is delivered to the application program based on the pre-defined security polices. This system can be used as security clearance for each user for the shared computing resource as well as shared application programs.

Designing XML Database for Effective Storage and Retrieval of HL7 messages (HL7메시지의 효율적인 저장과 검색을 위한 XML데이타베이스의 설계)

  • HL7은 텍스트 기반의 의료정보교환 표준이다. HL7메시지는 한 환자가 내원하여 퇴원할 때까지 여러종류의 메시지가 계속적으로 다량 발생하게 되는데, 그 메시지들의 일부 특정 세그먼트들은 반복적으로 생성되어 사용된다는 특징이 있다 그러므로 HL7메시지를 데이타베이스에 저장할 때는 불가피하게 특정 세그먼트들에 많은 중복이 발생하게 된다. 또한 HL7메시지는 프로세스 흐름중심으로 발생되므로, 중복을 제거한 환자중심의 데이터베이스 설계가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 XML데이타베이스를 사용하여 HL7메시지를 저장하는 방식을 제안한다. 이는 XML DTD가 병원정보를 다루는 여러 의료정보표준들 상호간의 정보교환 및 공유를 위한 스키마로서의 역할을 할 뿐만 아니라, 인터넷을 통해 여러 가지 서비스 제공할 수 있도록 효과적인 저장 및 검색을 지원하기 때문이다. 이질적인 병원정보시스템을 가지고 있는 병원들 간에 의료정보를 교환하고, 환자들의 의료정보를 통합관리 하기 위한 XML데이터베이스를 설계하고 구현하였다.

Design of XML Message Processor for Electronic Commerce (전자상거래를 위한 XML 메시지 처리기 설계)

  • Because XML is a W3C standard and has characteristics like platform independent, it has a critical role in electronic commerce. Many electronic commerce systems are already using XML. Business rules and procedures should be standardized for efficient B2B electronic commerce. But a lot of companies have its own XML documents instead of standard documents. In this paper an XML message processor is designed. Clients may request services in XML and server returns response in XML in this system. This XML message processor can be applied easily and used efficiently in electronic commerce systems.

  • In this paper, a new multiple servers conference service system using media control channel/distributed conference manipulation architecture has been presented. This conference service system can handle loads effectively from many conference participants. In this suggested architecture, media control channels are established between conference server, and distributed conference manipulation messages for distributing system loads are exchanged through this channels. These messages are transported between servers using media control channel created after stable transport sessions, and can be used to process server loads according to participants effectively. So this method can be used to implement large scale conference service system. For these purposes, formats of distributed conference manipulation messages which transmitted through media control channels are designed. and messages exchange procedures between conference servers are also presented. The performance of the proposed conference service system has been analysed by experiments, and the results show that the performances are improved according to participants.
