본 논문에서는 디지털 방송의 시대를 맞아 새롭고 다양한 정보 서비스를 가능하게 할 디지털 데이터방송을 위해서 국내 환경에 적합한 데이터방송 프로파일을 제안하고 그 내용을 소개한다. 여기서 프로파일이라는 것은 표준(standard)과는 달리 서비스 어플리케이션 및 송 ·수신 시스템을 포함하여 실제로 데이터방송을 서비스하기 위해서 규정한 방송구현 단계의 구체적 규격이다. 데이터방송의 가능한 서비스 형태로는 TV 프로그램 자체를 소개하는 프로그램 안내정보 서비스, 방송중인 TV 프로그램 관련 정보를 서비스하기 위한 TV 프로그램 연관 데이터 서비스, TV 프로그램 내용과 독립적으로 멀티미디어 정보를 제공하기 위한 순수 데이터 서비스, 그리고 방송국과 양방향 네트워크로 연결하여 제공되는 양방향 서비스가 있다 이러한 서비스를 개발하기 위해서는 국내 환경에 적합한 데이터방송 프로파일이 필요하며 그 일환으로 현재 MHEG-5를 이용하여 데이터방송이 가능하도록 프로파일을 구성해 나가고 있다 그리고 MHEG-5 프로파일을 이용한 서비스 어플리케이션을 제작하여 디지털 위성방송 시스템에 적용하였다 데이터방송의 규격은 국제적으로 아직 많은 부분에 있어서 유동적이므로 이 연구를 바탕으로 향후 지속적으로 국제적 흐름을 분석하여 국내 환경에 적합하도록 프로파일을 개선해 나갈 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to determine crucial factors of consideration in ensuring the successful implementation of research data management services. The study begins by extracting a range of service areas from their equivalent in existing research on data management services. It then collects relevant information via e-mail survey from eight individuals respectively overseeing research data management services at six university libraries and one institution located throughout the United States, Germany, and Australia. Having originated in overseas cases, the resulting factors of consideration were reviewed by domestic experts in research data management services. The finalized areas of research data management services consist of nine categories. The crucial factors of consideration in RDM services are connection between research services and research data management services; national/university-level/institutional agreements; metadata entry personnel and required elements; strategies for the provision of specialized staff; major service area selection through user demand analysis; effective linkage between research data and research results; and close cooperation with users and related organizations.

본 논문에서는 디지털 데이터 방송에서 동기화 데이터 서비스를 제공하기 위한 전송 시스템과 이를 이용한 동기화 데이터 서비스 방법을 제안한다. 데이터 방송을 통해 전송되는 부가 데이터는 그 특징에 따라 비동기, 동기, 동기화 데이터로 구분된다. 이들 중 동기화 데이터는 사용자의 선택에 의해 데이터 방송 수신기에서 재생되는 비동기 데이터와는 달리 비디오 또는 오디오의 특정 장면에 통기되어 재생될 수 있는 데이터고서, 데이터를 전송하는 단계에서 데이터가 재생되어야 하는 시전의 시간 정보인 재생시각이 함께 전송되는 특징이 있다. 동기화 데이터의 이와 같은 특징으로 인해 현재 대부분의 데이터 방송에 사용되고 있는 비동기 데이터 서비스를 위한 전송 시스템은 동기화 데이터의 전송에는 부적합하며, 동기화 데이터 서비스를 위해서는 새로운 전송 시스템에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 방송을 동해 동기화 데이터 서비스를 제공하기 위해 기존의 비동기 데이터 전송 시스템에 MPEG-2 오디오/비디오 TS(Transport Stream)를 출력하는 장치와 동기화 데이터를 다중화 하는 장치를 추가한 새로운 동기화 데이터 전송 시스템과 이를 이용한 동기화 데이터 서비스 방법을 제안한다

MyData service integrates and manages user's personal data such as finance, credit, etc, and is expected to provide useful information to the user as personal data in various fields are gradually integrated. Discovering factors that affect the intention to use of MyData service is a very important topic for understanding that service. To this end, in this study, the attributes of the MyData service were derived, and the derived service attributes were grouped together by using factor analysis. As a result, we found four factors such as "convenience", "usefulness", "security", and "control". After that, we established our research model to analyze the causal relationship between these four factors and the intention to use of MyData service. According to the analysis results, among the factors of the MyData service attribute, "convenience", "usefulness", and "control" had a significant effect, and "security" did not have a significant effect. In particular, it was confirmed that "control" had the greatest influence on the intention to use. This study suggests that MyData service provider need to make users recognize they are controlling their data and develop services that provide various benefits to users.

This study investigated research data-related services offered by North American university libraries, focusing on service names, hierarchical relationships, job titles of service managers, and job descriptions. The study analyzed the homepages of 50 university libraries and found a clear hierarchical relationship between research data-related service names, indicating a clear structure for these services. The title of 'librarian' was most commonly used for the position in charge of research data-related services, and the job content of this position was found to be quite wide. Other job titles such as 'specialist' and 'analyst' were also used for experts in various research data-related fields. The existence of these job titles was seen as a way for university libraries to strengthen the expertise of their research data-related services. Based on the findings, the authors propose a service composition system for research data-related services in domestic university libraries. This system includes 'research data service' as the highest-level service name, with 'research data management service', 'GIS service', and 'data visualization service' as sub-service names. The authors also suggest that research data-related services should be provided through collaboration between existing university librarians in the early stages of service provision, and that new recruitment of research data-related professionals could be considered gradually.

This study aimed to develop Research Data Management (RDM) Services in a domestic university library of Korea. In this study, elements and levels of RDM services are examined and in-depth interview was conducted with university researchers affiliated in Seoul National University, which has the largest amount of research fund among universities in Korea. Interview was conducted to analyze their data management practices and needs of RDM services. Interview results show researchers' lack of awareness toward Data Management Policy and data sharing obligations of funding agencies and academic journal publishers. Also, they had trouble managing research data systematically. However, many of the researchers understand the necessary of research data management and education of data management. Based on the interview result, service elements and contents are suggested for RDM services which is consisted of education services, professional consulting services, curation technical services. This study result will help to guide for the planning the future RDM service in university library of Korea.

본 논문은 현재 다각적으로 논의되는 디지털 위성방송 및 데이터 방송 서비스를 제공하기 위해 랜 기반의 IP 망과 DVB 에서 규정한 위성망을 연결시켜 줌으로써 위성을 통한 다양한 멀티캐스트 및 유니캐스트 서비스를 제공할 수 있도륵 해주는 데이터 인코더의 하드웨어/소프트웨어 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 다양한 위성 방송 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 데이터 인코더는 IP 데이터를 이더넷을 통해 입력받아 DVB 데이터 방송[2] 규격에서 규정한 MPE 포맷으로 켑슐화 한 후 MPEG-2 TS 패킷으로 변환하여 DVB-ASI 신호로 바꾸어 다중화기로 출력한다. 아울러 사용자 단말에서 서비스 수신을 위해 필요한 PSI/SI 정보와 서비스 형태에 따라 부가적으로 발생하는 사설 데이터를 처리해야 한다. 본 논문에서 기술하는 데이터 인코더는 4096개의 PID 할당이 가능하며 20M0ps 이상의 데이터 처리가 가능하여 동시에 여러 개의 서비스 제공이 가능하다.

현재 국내 해양에 설치된 항로표지를 통해 해양 상태에 대한 다양한 정보가 수집/관리되고 있으며, 기상청에서 제공되는 기상 데이터 등 항로표지 데이터와 연계를 통해 유용한 서비스 개발이 가능한 데이터가 생상되고 있으나, 각 데이터의 관리 주체/시스템이 분산되어 효율적으로 활용되기 어려운 실정이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 항로표지 데이터와 타 시스템에서 수집/관리되고 있는 데이터의 연계/분석을 통해 항로표지 데이터 기반의 다양한 서비스 개발에 활용 가능한 스마트 항로표지 빅데이터 플랫폼 구축 기술을 제안한다.

Recently wireless data services have widely spread on various multimedia devices such as smart phones and tablets. Existing wired data services have been replaced by wireless data services using mobile devices. Especially domestic mobile devices supporting both Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) and long term evolution (LTE) services have increased steadily. While Wi-Fi network is provided free of charge, LTE network is offered to pay for. Therefore, mobile devices provide smart network switch to support both preferred Wi-Fi and LTE networks. However, such handover and roaming between Wi-Fi and LTE networks can cause data connection stop in spite of charged data services. This paper has proposed the method to overcome data connection stop for guaranteeing seamless data service during handover and roaming procedures between networks.

빅데이터 시대로 변화함에 따라 도서관 및 정보서비스 분야에서도 데이터 분석에 대한 중요성이 점차적으로 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 도서관 분야에서의 데이터 분석활용 현황 및 분석서비스에 대한 인식수준을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 데이터 분석 기반의 도서관 운영을 지원할 수 있는 빅데이터 분석 서비스 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 먼저, 도서관 분야 데이터 분석 교육 전후 인식조사를 토대로 현재 데이터 분석현황 및 인식변화를 분석하였다. 또한 개인적 특성과 분석서비스 인식과의 관계를 분석하였고, 추가적으로 인식수준이 교육 및 분석서비스 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 분석결과를 기반으로 향후 데이터 분석 교육 및 분석서비스의 발전방향을 제시하였다.
