본고에서는 Machine Type Communications(MTC) 표준화 동향을 소개한다. MTC는 사람이 개입하지 않는 상태에서 기기 및 사물 간에 일어나는 통신이라고 정의하고 있고, 사물의 이동성, 도서, 산간, 해양 등을 포함하는 광범위한 서비스 지역, 네트워크의 운영 및 유지보수의 용이성, 신뢰도 높은 데이터 전송을 위한 보안, 그리고 서비스 품질 보장 등을 고려하여, 이동통신 네트워크를 기반으로 하는 사물통신을 수용하기 위한 것이다. 우선 M2M(Machine to Machine) 개념 및 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project)에서 도출한 응용 분야를 기술하고, 이어서 3GPP MTC 표준화 일정을 살펴보고, 현재까지의 주요 표준 문서의 작성 내용 중 MTC 요구사항의 정의와 구조 모델의 정의, 과부하 제어를 위한 표준화가 주된 내용으로 2011년 9월에 완성된 Release 10 NIMTC(Network Improvements for MTC) 내용을 살펴보고, 마지막으로 현재 3GPP RAN(Radio Access Network)1에서 활발하게 논의되고, 작성하고 있는 저가의 MTC 단말을 지원하기 위한 방안에 대한 기술보고서의 내용에 대해서 살펴보았다.

최근 들어 인터넷의 급속한 발전과 엄청난 양의 멀티미디어 데이터가 다양한 형태로 생성, 제공되면서 이에 대한 서비스 및 관리 기법에 관한 문제가 주요 관심사로 대두되고 있다. 그 중에서도, 일반 인터넷 사용자들의 기본적인 요구로써 기존의 문자 기반 검색 서비스로써 제공될수 없는 내용 기반 검색 기법을 들 수 있다. 사용자가 원하는 영상 혹은 임의의 동영상에서의 한 장면을 빠르고 정확하게 찾는 검색 기법이 최근 들어 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 가운데, 본 논문에서는 이러한 내용 기반 검색을 가능하게 하는 하나의 기법으로써 다차원 쉘 구조를 이용한 동영상에서의 영상 검색 알고리즘을 소개한다. 또한, 이를 내용 기반 검색에서 주로 사용되는 색인 트리 구조의 검색 기법과의 비교를 통해 장, 단점을 비교 분석해 본다.

방송 서비스상의 교육용 어학 컨텐츠의 증가와 더불어 비디오 컨텐츠의 효율적인 제공, 이용 및 관리를 위한 내용 기반 요약에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 교육용 어학 비디오의 내용 기반 요약을 위한 방법을 제안한다. 디지털 비디오로부터 샷 경계를 추출한 후 각 샷을 대표하는 키프레임으로부터 MPEG-7 비주얼 특징 값들을 추출한다. 추출된 특징 값들의 다중 조합을 통해 교육용 어학 비디오의 내용 정보를 세분화하여 요약 결과를 생성한다. 외국어 회화 컨텐츠에 대해 실험하여 알고리즘의 효용성을 검증하였으며. 제안한 방법은 교육용 방송 컨텐츠의 다양한 서비스 제공 및 관리론 위한 비디오 요약 시스템에 효율적으로 이용될 것이다.

서비스는 기본적으로 고객과 서비스공급자간의 상호작용을 필요로 한다. 이때 서비스 공급자 구체적으로 종업원들이 자신의 직무에서 느낀 것들이 서비스 조우시 그대로 고객에게 전달되게 된다. 즉, 기업의 최종 지향점인 고객만족을 위해 내부 고객인 종업원의 만족이 필수적이라 할 수 있는데, 본 연구에서는 내부고객을 대상으로 한 내부마케팅 구체적으로 내부고객에게 제공되는 서비스품질의 내용을 알아보기 위해 선행연구에 대한 포괄적인 검토를 통해 이를 파악하고, 종업원만족이나 고객만족 등의 후행변수에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 병원에 근무하는 간호사들을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였고, 연구결과 내부고객에게 제공되는 내부서비스품질이 높을수록 종업원만족이 상승함을 발견하였다.

A drama, generally composed of dozens of times, is one of the most popular broadcasting program genres, and it has the characteristics that the status and interrelationships of characters are changing as time goes on and important acts affecting the story occur sporadically. Therefore, when viewers missed some times in the middle of a drama, it is difficult to understand the drama without the changed information on the characters and notable actions. This paper proposes a data service which provides the updated information of the characters and important acts based on the drama scene. The data service has the characteristics that it provides the information on the characters shown in the current drama scene, and the information about the people mentioned in the dialogue in the scene. This paper includes a general introduction to the data services, the formal definition of the drama scene identification and character information, and an DVB-SI-based method for transmitting the information to the data service.

Participating in exhibitions is one of the major activities for tourists. When selecting their next travel destination after participating in an event, they use map services and social network services, such as blogs, to obtain information about tourist attractions. The map services are location-based recommendations, because they can easily retrieve information regarding nearby places. Blogs contain informative content about tourist attractions, thereby providing content-based recommendations. However, few services consider both location and content. In location-based recommendations, tourist attractions that are not related to the content of the event attended might be recommended. Content-based recommendation has a disadvantage in that events located at a distance might get recommended. We propose an algorithm that considers both location and content, based on information from the Korea Tourism Organization's Linked Open Data (LOD), Wikipedia, and a Korean dictionary. By extracting nouns from the description of a tourist attraction and then comparing them with nouns about other attractions, a content-based relationship is determined. The distance to the event is calculated based on the latitude and longitude of each tourist attraction. A weight selected by the user is used for linear combination with the content-based relationship to determine the preference order of the recommendations.

The aim of this study was to develop a policy information mentoring management model through which professional information, knowledge, and ideas can be shared and consulted. To this end, we analyzed domestic and international related literature, case studies of domestic and international mentoring programs, and expert advice from the policy consumers and current policy mentors in the field of policy information. In this research, components of a policy information mentoring management model have been proposed by separating them into human and content components. Mentor-mentee coordination, and supervisors are proposed as human components. Policy mentoring subject areas, programs, and detailed activities are proposed as content components.

웹 개인화 기술의 발달은 많은 업체들이 기존 고객의 유지와 신규 고객의 확보를 위한 수단을 제공하였다. 현재의 개인화 기술은 크게 내용 기반 그리고 협력적 정보 여과 방식에 기반한 기술로 나뉘어질 수 있다. 내용 기반 정보 여과 방식에 기반한 개인화 기술은 멀티미디어 정보로 표현된 대부분의 웹 오브젝트(페이지, 이미지, 동영상, 사운드, 상품 등)에는 적용하기 어렵고, 협력적 정보 여과방식은 Cold Start Problem과 단일 도메인내에서의 개인화 서비스만이 가능하다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 협력적 정보 여과 방식과 데이터 마이닝 기술 중의 연관 규칙 생성 방법을 혼합한 웹 개인화 시스템을 제안한다. 다양한 멀티미디어 형태로 표현되는 웹 오브젝트의 내용 분석이 어려우므로, 각각의 오브젝트를 하나의 아이템으로 인식하고 개인화 서비스를 시도하는 협력적 정보 여과 방식을 채택하였다. 협력적 정보 여과의 결과로 발견된 도메인별 유사 사용자의 웹 오브젝트 사용 정보를 연관 규칙 생성 알고리즘에 적용하여 오브젝트간의 연관성을 발견한다. 발견된 오브젝트간의 연관성은 서로 다른 정보 도메인의 오브젝트가 현재 사용자에게 흥미있는 것인가를 예측할 수 있는 자료로서 사용될 수 있다. 협력적 정보 여과 방식에 의해 생성된 오브젝트의 선호도값과 오브젝트 연관성 정보를 비교하여 사용자에게 개인화된 웹 서비스를 제공한다.

A new class of applications based on event interactions are emerging for the wide-area network such as Internet, which is characterized as loose coupling, heterogeneity. and asynchrony. Content-barred publish/subscribe systems are widely being studied to implement the extent notification service for wide-area networks. In this paper, we analyze some problems of the content-based routing algorithm in SIENA, a recently developed as a representative event notification service architecture, and develop an enhanced routing algorithm.

This paper analyzes the quality of library services for disabled by studying the service of national public libraries and libraries for the disabled. The sample consists of 768 public libraries and 36 libraries for the disabled. The evaluation criteria is composed of six areas: general, amenities, substitute data, complementary device, source/information service, and culture program. The findings show various deviations depending on the library operator, contents and region. The research also shows that the service quality for the disabled is higher in libraries with specialized worker for this type of library services.
