Improvement of Manufacturing Drawings for Manufacturing Quality Assurance of Modular Housing Unit (모듈러 주거시설의 단위유닛 제작품질 확보를 위한 공장제작도서 개선 연구)

  • In modular architecture, manufacturing drawing which includes whole information for modular unit production is essential since works for modular unit have to be performed in manufacturing factory not construction field. Although the manufacturing drawing is important as known it is insufficient to utilize the manufacturing drawing in modular architecture project and this makes modular unit low-quality with re-work and work time delay. To prevent low-quality modular unit caused by insufficient manufacturing drawing, in this research firstly manufacturing drawing's current situation and error cases in manufacturing phase of past modular housing project were analyzed, and correlation between reduction of errors occurance frequency and improving manufacturing drawing was verified. Secondly manufacturing drawing improvement factors were deducted in interior, furniture, mechanical work phase which errors' occurance rate is high and the way of deducting manufacturing drawing lists and contents were suggested with light-weight work as an example in case of new type of errors occurance. A series of research process can contribute to good-quality modular unit by errors reduction. As a result of research, about half of errors occurance can be reduced with suggested manufacturing drawing improvement factors. And the manufacturing drawing process can contribute to modular production which have uniform quality.

  • This study proposes a method of generating steel house shop drawing in an automated design method, reducing construction manpower and period. With one hour fire-resistant approval code, reflecting work ability and efficiency, steel-framed house market is expected to extend from one or two story house to multi-purpose facilities up to four story height. More models have been constructed in this system than the first appearance of fire-resistant approval in Korea in 1997. Also, cost estimation of components such as frame walls, roof trusses and floors is obtained with shop drawings. Also, the lack of suppliers of steel framed house shop drawing and unstandardized drawing method get constructors have difficulty in understanding its design. In steel framed house industry, shop drawings are essential part in building and constructing framework and they have major effects on construction deadlines and expenses. By exploring method of shop drawing automation, this study aims to optimize work flow with a standardized drawing method. The proposed system can be applied to manufacturing automation in domestic industry of factory-built panelizing method in the near future.

97부천국제판사스틱영화제(PiFan97)용 공식 리더필름(ID Film)의 제작 사례

  • 이 글은 제 1 회 부천국제판타스틱영화제(1997년 8월 29일부터 9월 5일까지 경기도 부천시에서 개최)조직위원회로부터 1997년 6월경에 의뢰를 받아 35mm 필름으로 작업한 20초 분량의 영화제 공식 리더필름에 대한 작업 결과를 요약한 것이다. 작업 내용에 있어서는 3D 컴퓨터그래픽의 무리한 적용보다는 최소한의 절제하고 주로 드로잉 냄새가 강한 2D 캐릭터를 부각시켜, 국내 최초로 도입되는 ‘판타스틱’ 장르 영화제의 취지를 반영해보고자 고심했다. 배경은 3D로 처리하고 캐릭터는 직접 페이퍼에 그려 스캐닝 한 후 2D 공정을 거쳐 이 둘을 합성하였다. 이 작업방식은 당시의 컴퓨터 환경에서는 꽤 거친 공정을 필요로 하였다. 역사적인 조르주 멜리에스의 <달세계 여행> 스틸 컷을 활용한 도입부와 돌비스테레오 녹음방식을 채택한 이 작품의 개요를 정리하면 다음과 같다. ${\circ}$화면형식 : 35mm 스텐다드 사이즈 필름(상영용은 Beta버전) ${\circ}$작품길이 : 20초 ${\circ}$음향 : 돌비스테레오 방식(Only music) ${\circ}$제작기간 : 1997년 6월 - 8월 ${\circ}$사용S/W : 포토샵, 툰즈, 소프트이미지

Comparison of the quantity estimations from the design phase and the settlement quantities of construction field to improve the extra rates of bar splice (철근 이음조정률의 개선을 위한 설계견적 수량과 현장시공 정산 수량의 비교분석 연구)

  • LH has been using ultra high strength reinforcing bars (SD500 and SD600), since 2011. Such a change requires an adjustment of the old extra rates of bar splice to reflect use of ultra high strength reinforcing bars, as these rates had been set based on SD400 bars. It is particularly difficult to calculate precisely rebar lap-splice locations for large areas, such as those in apartment buildings. This research aims to adjust the extra rates of bar splice to reflect a reasonable rate; the rebar lap-splice length is not an exact estimation, but instead, an extra rates of bar splice is set and the rebar lap-splice length is increased by 2% (D 10) - 7% (025) depending on the bar size. The subjects of this study are LH apartments undergoing frame construction. We studied the quantity estimations from the design drawings, and analyzed the settlement quantities of construction field. The results of the study revealed that, when each of the quantities are analyzed, consider adjusting the extra rates of bar splice of some rebar to 1% - 3.5%. This was caused by an overuse of reinforcing bars in onsite construction and the use of supporting bars that have not been reflected in the documents, among other reasons. Based on the results of our study, an improvement plan for the current extra rates of bar splice seems to be necessary, cutting or raising the rate depending on the analysis of the data. Through this study, we expect to contribute to the calculation of reasonable construction costs, improvements in the quality of rebar work, and improvements in the capacity of design techniques for apartment buildings.
