This study was conducted to investigate setting approach of health promotion in Healthy city projects. We used the secondary data of 2008-2010 Healthy city projects, reports, papers, workshops and symposia and had professional meetings to obtain the implications. Setting approach of health promotion in Healthy city projects conducted 27 (14.7%) in 2008 and 42 (21.8%) in 2009. Looking at the type of setting approach, villages and schools, respectively, was the highest (six, 22.2%) in 2008. In 2009, the school was 12 (28.6%), apartment 8 (19.0%), village 6 (14.3%), day nursery 5 (11.9%), workplace and senior center 4, respectively (9.5%), market 3 (7.1%). School and apartment are the most common setting approach in the metropolitan area, but senior center and village are most common in the rural areas. The good examples of health promoting schools, healthy workplaces, healthy villages, healthy apartments, health promoting hospitals, healthy markets, healthy senior centers were examined. To sustain and success the setting approach in health promotion, persons in settings must know the exact meaning of 'setting' and 'health promotion' and the efforts that setting can play an important role in healthy cities (communities) will be required.

맨체스터 시티는 영국의 한가운데 위치한 인구 70만의 도시다. 맨체스터 시티 주변에는 맨체스터를 생활권으로 하는 군소 도시들이 형성돼 있는데, 이러한 도시들과 맨체스터 시티를 합쳐 맨체스터(Greater Manchester)라는 광역 행정권을 형성한다. 맨체스터의 인구는 320만 정도로 영국에서 두 번째로 규모가 큰 도시다.

홍수터의 정의는 용어를 사용하는 용도와 사용자에 따라 다르게 정의 되고 사용되어 왔다. 또한 여러 가지 의미로 사용되는 것과 동시에 범람원 및 둔치 등 다양한 용어로 사용되고 있어 용어 선택에 상다이 혼란을 야기시키고 있다. 그러나 이렇게 사용되고 있는 대부분 용어들의 의미는 큰 물 즉, 홍수가 발생했을 때 물이 범람하여 흐르는 곳까지로 정의되어지고 사용되고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 여름철에 강우가 집중되다보니 홍수시 범람하는 지역이 평상시 하천을 흐르는 물이 흐르는 구간에 비해 상당히 크게 나타나며, 과거에는 제방이 모든 하천에 설치되어 있지 않아 홍수시 마다 큰 피해를 유발시켰다. 그러나 1970년대를 지나면서 자연재해로부터 안전한 생활을 하기 위해 하천 치수사업이나 수해복구사업을 통해 하폭을 넓히고 제방을 축조하게 되면서 기존의 홍수터에 대한 범위가 크게 변화되었다. 또한, 최근 하천을 친수공간으로 활용하고 친 환경적인 생활환경을 조성하기 위하여 홍수시에 이용되는 홍수터를 정비하고 이를 시민들이 평상시에 활용할 수 있도록 다양한 방법으로 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 사용되고 있는 홍수터에 대한 다양한 용어 및 의미를 조사하여 정리하고 그에 따른 홍수터 범위를 제시하였으며, 이렇게 한정한 범위의 홍수터에 대한 사용되는 현황에 대한 문헌조사(하천정비기본계획, 지적도 등) 및 현장조사를 토대로 활용되는 방법 및 관리되는 방안에 대하여 조사하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial structure of laboring classes in Manchester in the 19th century. Manchester had districts where laboring classes lived in destitution. Elizabeth Gaskell's Mary Barton demonstrates the miserable state of laboring classes by depicting their small, dirty living residential spaces. Engels's The Condition of the Working Class in England analyzes the laboring classes in industrial areas in England, especially Manchester. The laboring classes' districts formed in a set pattern were separated from the area for bourgeois. It lied in the old district near commercial areas, while upper classes were outside areas. It was the dominant ideology that drove the transformation of Manchester as an industrial city characterized by separation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify health problems in the community by providing healthy village projects centered and based on the actual living site and to enhance the empowerment of the community related to health. Methods: The participants were 600 people who lived in one of the 5 villages under the jurisdiction of one Primary Health Care Post (PHCP) in D city. The Community Health Practitioner (CHP) carried out the projects to increase geographical and temporal accessibility by building infrastructures through connecting human and physical resources in the community. The health leaders who were trained through the project consistently managed, and periodically checked the residents' health status. Results: The participants in the projects had significantly lower levels of depression, routine stress, and activity of daily living (ADL) disorders, and higher interpersonal relationships, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) compared to the control group. Conclusions: The healthy village projects centered on the living site led to voluntary participation from the residents, improve HRQoL and enhanced empowerment of community.

지식 정보 사회로 불리는 급변하는 사회 속에서 새로운 문제 상황들은 정보와 지식을 단순히 습득하는 것만으로는 교육의 한계가 있다. 제4차 산업혁명시대에 필수역량인 컴퓨팅 사고력을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법으로 실제 생활과 관련된 앱 인벤터를 활용함으로써 학습자에게 흥미를 유발하고, 프로그래밍을 통해 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 이에 생활문제와 쉽게 융합가능한 앱 인벤터를 활용한 중등 정보영재 학생들의 교육과정을 통해 컴퓨팅 사고력을 신장시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 중등 정보영재 교육의 다양화에 좋은 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대한다.

요즈음 인터넷은 사람들의 생활에 일부를 차지할 만큼 보급이 확산되었다. 하지만, 일반 사용자가 인터넷을 사용하여 원하는 문서를 작성하기에는 아직도 여러 가지 어려운 점이 많다. 인터넷을 사용하려면 HTML이라는 문서를 만들어야 사용할 수 있고 여러 가지 작성법을 배우기 위해서는 번거로움과 시간적 손실을 가만해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어와 HTML 문서를 일정한 문장 형식에 맞추어서 작성하는 것보다 보이는 그대로 입력, 수정하여 작성하는 WYSIWYG(What You See Is What Irou Get) 방식으로 만들어져 사용자가 이용하기에 간편하고, 직접 원하는 대로 테일러링하여 작성할 수 있도록 만든 툴인 멀티미디어 웹 에디터를 제안한다.

오늘날 학생들에게 스마트폰은 일상생활에서 빼놓을 수 없는 친숙한 기기이지만 단순한 오락 위주의 활용에 그치는 경우가 대부분이다. 스마트폰을 손안의 작은 컴퓨터라는 관점에서 본다면 이는 더욱더 안타까운 실정이다. 왜냐하면 스마트폰은 그 동안 물리적 현실적 제약조건을 벗어나 다양한 교육활동을 가능하게 할 수 있는 교육 도구로써도 의미가 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 앱 인벤터를 활용한 PBL프로그래밍 교육을 연구하고자 한다. 앱 인벤터를 통해 학생들은 실제로 활용가능한 앱을 만들 수 있다는 점은 다른 교육용프로그래밍 언어와 차별화된 점이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 장점을 적극 활용하여 학생들의 흥미와 관심을 지속적으로 유지시키며 프로그래밍 교육을 할 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다고 생각한다.
