The Current Status of Parental Capacity for Children's Happiness (영유아 행복을 위한 부모역량 실태)

  • This study is intended to improve parental capacity from the viewpoint of children's happiness. It extracts a core parental capacity for children's happiness from the international index such as OECD well-being, UNICEF Children's welfare, International survey of children's well-being, and Korean children's key index. Based on the extracted core parental capacity, this study developed a self-checklist aiming to perceive parents' capacity status and suggest a political plan in order to improve parents' capacity for children's happiness. The self-checklist has a total of 66 questions and is composed of 7 domains; Child development, Health and Safety, Family relation, Physical and material environment, Play, Guidance in life, and Community engagement. The results from the survey are as follows. The domains of Development of children as well as Health & Safety are reported as the highest value at 4.1 point; on the contrary, those of Guidance in life and Community engagement are reported as the lowest value at 3.8 point. In terms of age, it was reported that the capacity of parents under 35 years-old was better than that of parents over 35 years of age. As for family income, it was revealed that the order of parents' capacity generally depends on the family income.

Comparative Analysis of Elementary Mathematics Textbooks in Korea and China: Focused on the area of Geometry (우리나라와 중국의 초등수학 교과서의 도형영역 비교.분석)

  • This study is aimed to compare the area of geometry of elementary mathematics textbooks in korea and china. Through this study, we would like to suggest some guidelines in order to develop geometric curriculum and textbooks in korea and to search for more efficient methods of learning mathematics. For this, we have looked through the general characteristics of geometry domain in mathematics curriculums and the textbooks in korea and china. Furthermore, we have found the similarities and differences while comparing specific contents in the two countries. The followings are the conclusions of this study. First, The mathematics curriculum in korea is divided into 'figure' domain, but the one in china is divided into 'space and figure' domain, which deals with figure and measurement. And china constructs the contents of the basic figure as a whole unit. Second, korea gives clear learning aims about contents whereas china gives learning activities. Lastly, when starting teaching a plain figure, korea focuses on checking and finding definitions and characters through fundamental figures. However, china focuses on figuring out components and the relations among them throughout various plain figure activities.

An Analysis of Elements for Teacher Librarians' Educational Information Services Embedded in Common Inquiry Tasks of World History Territory in Korean Middle School History Studies (중학교 「역사」 교과서 세계사 영역의 공통 탐구 과제에 포함된 사서교사의 교육정보서비스 요소 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze common inquiry tasks of middle school history textbooks and find out it's implications on teacher librarians' educational information services. There are 84 common inquiry tasks according to examinations of inquiry tasks related to world history in 18 kinds of middle school history textbooks. Results of the analysis show that almost all of common inquiry tasks of world history make middle school students who should resolve them research the pictures and reading materials included in the textbooks individually and verbalize under the information literacy process. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills" for middle schools, the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce history studies teachers' burden of running the class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of information analysis and interpretation, synthesis and organization and evaluation of their information literacy process and results.

A study on the school health education curriculum development focused on the health education course in primary school (국민학교 보건교육 교과과정의 개선방안에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was development of school health education curriculum in primary school based on analysis of the textbooks published in 1991. 1) The health education curriculum in primary school consisted of four major components such as health education aspects of the healthful school environments, health education aspects of school health services, health education course, and health instruction in related subjects. However, health instruction taught by physical education, biology, and other health related subjects was not systematic organization for health care. 2) A considerable amount of health knowledge and attitude, and some health practices was learned as the result of experiences in other courses, where there was little or no reference to health. It must be developed health edcation course separated from health related subjects. 3) Direct health insruction was represented by the health education course. The health education courses must be considered to be heart of the school health education curriculum. 4) The health education course developed by this study was consisted of eight health units and problems in the early elementary grade or health classes in the higher years. 5) The health education course developed by this study provided the opportunity for acquring new knowledge, attitude, and practice, for discarding the unhealtful attitude and strengthening the healthful attitude and practices of primary school students.

Teachers' Recognition on the Optimization of the Educational Contents of Clothing and Textiles in Practical Arts or Technology.Home Economics (실과 및 기술.가정 교과에서 의생활 교육내용의 적정성에 대한 교사의 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the teachers' recognition on the optimization of the educational contents of Clothing & Textiles in subjects of :he Practical Arts or the Technology & Home Economics in the course of elementary, middle and high schools. The statistical data for this research were collected from 203 questionnaires of teachers who work on elementary, middle and high schools. Mean. standard deviation, percentage were calculated using SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. Also. these materials were verified by t-test, One-way ANOVA and post verification Duncan. The results were as follows; First, The equipment ratio of practice laboratory were about 24% and very poor in elementary schools but those of middle and high school were 97% and 78% each and higher than elementary schools. Second, More than 50% of teachers recognized the amount of learning 'proper'. The elementary school teachers recognized the mount of learning in 'operating sewing machines' too heavy especially, the same as middle school teachers in 'making shorts': the same as high school teachers in 'making tablecloth and curtain' and 'making pillow cover or bag'. Third, All of the elementary, middle and high school teachers recognized the levels of total contents of clothing and textiles 'common'. The 80% of elementary school teachers recognized 'operating sewing machines' and 'making cushions' difficult especially. The same as middle school teachers in 'hand knitting handbag by crochet hoop needle', 'the various kinds of cloth' and 'making short pants'. The same as high school teachers in 'making tablecloth or curtain'. Fourth, Elementary school teachers recognized 'practicing basic hand needlework' and 'making pouch using hand needlework' important in the degree of educational contents importance. Middle school teachers recognized 'making short pants unimportant. High school teachers considered the contents focusing on practice such as 'making tablecloth and curtain' and 'making pillow cover or bags' unimportant. My suggestions were as follows; Both laboratories and facilities for practice should be established for making clothing and textiles lessons effective in Practical Arts in elementary schools. The 'operating sewing machines' which were considered difficult should be dealt in upper grade, re-conditioning to easier or omitted. The practical contents should be changed to student-activity-oriented and should be recomposed in order to familiar with students' living. It was needed to various and sufficient supports for increasing the teachers' practical abilities.

  • 고탁수 장기화 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로는 고탁수층을 선택취수하여 우선 배제함으로써 하류하천의 고탁수 발생일수를 최소화하는 방법이 있는데, 이와 같은 선택적 취수기법은 저수지 운영에 있어서 고탁수층을 우선 배제한 후 홍수기 이후에 저수지내로 유입되는 청수를 담수하여 호소 내 탁도 저감 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 선택취수 시 성층수괴의 동수역학적 변화를 분석하기 위하여 국내에서 처음으로 Two-tank 기법을 이용하여 성층구조를 구현해 내었는데, 소금물의 밀도변화를 이용하여 수심 1m의 성층수조를 만들었고, 밀도경사가 상이한 성층구조에서 취수조건을 변화시키면서 비교란 유속계인 PIV 시스템을 이용해 유속의 흐름을 Vector와 Contour로 분석하였다. 선택취수에 대한 흐름의 동수역학적 분석결과 취수유량보다는 밀도성층경사 변화에 더 민감한 반응을 보였다. 취수유량을 줄이거나 밀도성층경사를 급하게 했을 때에는 선택취수 영역(withdrawal zone)의 수직방향 폭은 줄어드는 반면, X축으로의 영향범위는 증가함을 나타냈다. 취수유량을 증가시키거나 성층밀도경사를 완만히 했을 땐 선택취수 영역(withdrawal zone)의 수직방향 폭은 증가하였고 X축으로의 영향범위는 축소됨을 나타내었다. 이 결과는 Richardson 수로도 판단되어지는데, Richardson 수가 증가하면 유속에 비해 상대적으로 밀도성층경사가 크다는 것인데 이럴 경우 선택취수 영역(withdrawal zone)의 수직방향 폭 최대가 되고 선택취수 영역(withdrawal zone)의 수직방향 폭은 최소가 된다. 선택취수 영역(withdrawal zone)의 수직방향 폭이 최소가 되면 취수구 직경 D의 1.8배의 값을 가지고 Richradson 수가 최소가 되더라도 취수구 직경 D의 3.3배를 벗어나지 않는다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.링 목적으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 영상수위계는 한강홍수통제소 관할의 전류, 청담대교 등 4개소 낙동강 홍수통제소 2개소, 지자체 등에 적용되었으며, 적용 결과 비교적 안정적이면서 정확하게 수위를 측정하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 기존 CCD 카메라 이외에 CCTV를 이용한 영상수위계를 개발하여 영상의 화질 개선뿐 아니라 하천화상 감시 기능을 강화하였다.소류의 섭취율은 높았다. 집단간의 상관도를 보면 교육별로 김치, 장아찌, 콩이 각각 p>0.5 수준에서 유의한 차가 없었고, 나머지는 유의한 차가 있었다. 연령별로는 멸치가 유의한 차가 없었고(p>0.5), 수입별로는 콩이 유의한 차가 없었다(p>0.5). 4. 영양지식(營養知識) 검토 가정생활(家庭生活)에 필요(必要)한 일반적(一般的)인 영양지식(營養知識)은 대체적으로 낮은 편이었다. 어린이 영양, 편식의 해로움, 비만증의 해로움, 임신부 그리고 수유부 영양에 대하여는 일반적으로 알고 있다고 하였으며, 그다음으로 이유기 영양, 어린이 발육에 필요한 식품, 식품과 영양소와의 관계, 우유의 성분, 노인영양에 대하여 잘 알고 있는 비율이 낮았으며, 인체의 영양소, 식단작성여부, 간식의 이론, 식품감별법에 대하여는 가장 낮은 비율을 나타냈다. 각 영양지식은 교육정도가 높을수록 영양지식이 높았고, 교육별 집단간의 유의한 차가 나타났다.   • The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual use and satisfaction of early childhood teachers in the multimedia contents of the 5-year-old grade Nuri course teacher's guidebook and to provide basic data that should be developed in order to develop contents to help teaching and learning in the future. The subjects of this study were 144 early childhood teachers in kindergartens and day care centers in Busan, and collected data through questionnaires on recognition and implementation of flash among 5-year-old multimedia contents. The collected data were analyzed by frequency and percentage using SPSS 18.0 program. The results of the study were as follows: First, the early childhood teachers were satisfied with 5-year-old multimedia contents. Second, in the actual field, multimedia contents were used relatively low, and among them, the use of early childhood teachers for flash was more than half of all respondents. Third, the utilization and satisfaction according to the activity area and the life topic of the group were the most used in the fairy tale, the concurrent, the play and the story sharing, and it is mostly used in Korea and spring summer autumn winter by teachers.

Parents' Opinions on Foodservices in Daycare Centers of Korea's Compensation and Welfare Service Institute (근로복지공단 보육시설의 급식 운영현황과 학부모대상 품질 만족도)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine parental perceptions on the importance, performance level, and satisfaction with foodservice quality at daycare centers in the Compensation and Welfare Service institute. The questionnaire was developed to measure thirty-two attributes of foodservice operations are administered to 598 parents and 23 foodservice supervisors from June 22, 2009 to July 10, 2009. The parents placed a high importance on the need for foodservices, earning 4.70 points out of 5 points. Their perceptions of foodservice quality menu, foodservice ingredients and effects, facilities, sanitation, and service scored even higher than performance. The overall satisfaction level for foodservice compared to performance was 4.33 and 4.03 points out of 5 points, respectively. Multiple regression analysis indicated that 98.6% of the variance in parents' overall satisfaction scores was explained by six dimensions.

  • This study is to study Adler's individual psychology and to study the counseling process and counseling techniques based on the counseling theory derived there. The progress of Adler's consultation process is first, and the relationship formation phase is the phase of seeking equal and mutually cooperative relations working as active partners toward agreed objectives between the counselor and the counsellor. Second, the lifestyle search phase is an important goal to understand lifestyle and how lifestyle affects life's task. Third, the insight phase is the one that has insight. Fourth, it is carried out in the financial direction (transformation of behavior). Adler's counseling techniques include general techniques and special techniques, and general techniques include promptness, advice, encouragement, paradoxical intentions, demonstration of poetry, and role play. Special techniques include pressing a doorbell, spitting on a physician's soup, Midas technique, entertaining others, avoiding low-quality children and self-restraint. In conclusion, individual psychological counseling is based on growth model, not medical model, and has more interest in re-education and re-lighting healthy individuals and societies than on the aspect of treatment. Therefore, it applies to various areas such as child guidance centers, parent-child counseling, marital counseling, family counseling, group counseling and treatment, personal counseling for children and adolescents, cultural conflicts and mental health campaigns.

Analysis of the Effects of In-service Education Program on Rural Amenity (농촌어메니티 교원 연수 프로그램 효과 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 초 중등 교원들의 농업 농촌에 대한 가치 인식 및 학교 현장에서의 학생 지도력을 높이기 위해 교원들에게 농촌어메니티에 대한 이론과 체험 학습을 제공하는 '농촌어메니티 체험 연수 프로그램'의 개발 적용하고, 프로그램의 효과를 분석하였다. '농촌어메니티 개념 및 정책 이해', '농촌어메니티 현장 이해 및 체험', '농촌어메니티 수업 적용'의 3개 영역으로 구성된 총 20시간의 교원연수 프로그램을 개발하였으며, '09. 7. 23. ~ 8. 13.까지 2박 3일씩 5차에 걸쳐 200명의 교사를 대상으로 연수 프로그램을 운영하고, 연수 전후 설문조사를 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연수에 참여한 교원들의 인구통계학적 특성을 분석한 결과, 여성의 비율이 56.9%로 남성(43.1%)에 비해 높았으며, 일반교사의 비율(53.3%)이 부장교사(26.9%)나 교장 교감 (19.8%)의 비율에 비해 높았다. 연령 분포에서는 50대가 35.2%로 가장 많고, 40대가 32.7%를 차지하고 있었으며, 경력이 20년 이상인 교원들이 67.2%인 것으로 나타났다. 근무기관 분포에서는 초등학교 교원들이 54.8%로 가장 많았으며, 중학교, 고등학교 교원이 각각 20.3%, 18.8%인 것으로 나타났다. 근무지역 분포에서는 중소도시에서 근무하는 교원들이 70.6%로 대다수를 차지하고 있었으며, 농촌거주 경험이 있는 교원들이 64.8%인 것으로 분석되었다. 연수 참여 사전-사후 설문조사를 통한 인식 변화를 분석(Paired samples t-test)한 결과 참여 이후 '농업 농촌에 대한 관심 정도', '농업의 중요도에 대한 인식', '농촌의 생활 정주, 관광 휴양 여건에 대한 인식', '농촌어메니티에 대한 이해도'가 모두 개선된 것으로 나타났다. '농촌어메니티에 대한 중요도 인식'(5점 척도)에서는 환경자원, 자연자원, 역사자원, 경관자원, 시설자원, 경제활동자원, 공동체활동자원으로 분류된 37개의 세부자원들에 대한 중요도 인식이 연수 참여 이후 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 단, 환경자원 가운데 '수질'의 평균 점수는 사전 4.8671, 사후 4.8960로 유의미한 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 연수 전반에 대해 만족하는 교원의 비율이 98.5%로 나타났으며, 연수 이후 농업 농촌에 대한 이해도가 증가했다는 응답이 98.0%, 학생 지도력이 증가했다는 응답이 95.0%, 연수에서 학습한 내용을 학생지도시 활용하겠다는 응답이 97.5%로 집계되어, 개발된 연수 프로그램이 설계시 수립한 목적 달성에 기여하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.
