A Study on the Setting Procedure of Standard Value and Design Target Value for the RCS Reduced Design for Naval Ships (함정 RCS 기준치 및 설계 목표치 설정을 위한 절차 연구)

  • In this paper, we researched that setting standard for RSC(Radar Cross Section) of naval surface ship could be determined and considered in various ways on ship's survivability, technical building feasibility, operation and so on. This study presented fundamental capacity on anti-ship missile, radar, flight and so no and the procedure to set of target/standards for RSC. The RCS standards is good at setting low as low as to improve survivability aspect, but because we should consider effect, technical limit, cost etc, this paper analyzed necessary elements to set standard than to suggest specific number and suggested procedure to set standars according to suggest the boundary of RCS.

Empirical Study on Survival Factors of Youth Start-Ups (청년창업기업의 생존요인에 관한 실증연구)

  • This study analyzes the factors affecting the survival of young start-up companies. A youth start-up company was defined as a company with a founder's age under 39. The study was based on evaluation data from 3,540 companies evaluated by the Technology Guarantee Fund to support youth start-up guarantees during the period from 2012 to 2015. In this study, independent variables were defined as founder characteristics, start-up environment, and start-up strategy, and entrepreneurship, knowledge level, and development capabilities were set as variables for start-up characteristics, competition conditions and comparative advantage with alternatives in the start-up environment, and item novelty, commercialization plan and financing plan were set as variables. For variable measurement, the evaluation index of the youth start-up evaluation model of the Technology Guarantee Fund was used. Management performance was defined as the survival of a company, and the survival of 12, 36, 60, and 84 months was measured based on the occurrence of insolvency registered by the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund. The Cox proportional risk model was used for hypothesis testing. As a result of the analysis, knowledge level and development capability were statistically significant in the characteristics of the founder, and the financing plan in the start-up strategy was statistically significant regardless of the survival period. Among the start-up strategies, the novelty of the item had a positive effect on survival after 36 months. Entrepreneurship was significant only in 12-month survival. The most important order for survival was identified in the order of financing plan, knowledge level, item novelty and development capability, of which the founder's knowledge level in the beginning and the funding plan in the second half had the greatest impact.

  • 저고용을 통한 고효율로 기업생산성을 추구하는 결과, 야기되는 고용의 불균형을 타개하기 위해 2007년 정부는 사회적 기업 육성법을 통해 사회적 기업을 장려하고 있다. 뿐 만 아니라 전 세계적 으로도 사회적 기업에 관련된 연구를 미국의 로버츠 재단, 영국의 Social Firms, EMES European Research Network 등이 중심이 되어 사회적 기업의 생존 전략과 사회적 자본 활용을 통한 발전방법을 모색하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 세계적인 추세에 발맞추어 사회적 기업 발전에 필요한 기업생존, 고용증대, 매출증대, 권한위임을 종속변수로 Granovetter Mark, Burt Ronald, Coleman James, Peter Witt, Andreas Schroeter, Christin Merz, Helen Haugh 등의 연구를 참고하여 독립변수인 네트워크다양성과 강도가 어떻게 작용하는지를 먼저 실증 분석하고 나아가 네트워크의 효율적인 운영을 통하여 사회적 기업 발전을 극대화시키는데 연구목적이 있다. 그리고 본연구의 대상은 2009년 현재 국내의 295개 사회적 기업 가운데 전문가의 추천을 받은 25개 회사로 이루어졌으며 SPSS 12.0으로 요인분석, 타당성, 신뢰성, 상관관계 등의 분석을 거쳐 다중회귀분석을 통하여 가설을 검증하였다. 검증의 결과 기업생존, 고용증대, 매출증대, 권한위임 전 과정에 네트워크가 필요하며 특히, 기업생존을 위해서는 네트워크강도에 관련된 요인을 매출증대를 위해서는 네트워크다양성에 관련된 요인을 잘 관리하고 유지 발전시켜야 함을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 결과가 사회적 기업 창업을 준비 중인 국내의 많은 회사나 비영리법인, 사회단체가 계속기업으로 발전해 가기위한 사회적 자본 활용 전략에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

A Study on Firm Survival Factors : Focusing on Korean Software Firms (기업의 생존요인 연구 : 국내 소프트웨어 기업을 중심으로)

  • This article analyzes the survival of Korean software firms from 1995 to 2015 by Cox regression model and product-limit method. The results show that survival rates are different for each sector: IT service, package software, game software and internet service. In addition, firm growth and investment in research and development positively affect software firm's survival, while slack resources negatively affect the software firm's survival. The implication of this study is that characteristics of the software industry and technologies should be taken into consideration in survival strategy of software firms and government policy. Previous research on survival analysis has been mainly conducted in the manufacturing industry or at the special circumstance such as the foreign exchange crisis of Korea in the late 1990s. The contribution of this study is that expanding the survival analysis to software firms in Korea which are becoming more important recently.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design an algorithm for data fusion of sensors data in the helicopter ASE system, using Bayesian Network, which was selected among several knowledge base data fusion methods after consideration and applied to this study. The result of the algorithm analysis shows that Bayesian Network is effective method for solving this problem.

  • In this paper, we developed and tested a program for prediction flash fire in a combat system. Purposes of the program are flash fire prediction of combat system for analysis vulnerability and survivability, and visualization for fire-related information. To do this, we defined critical components of the combat system which has probabilities of flash fire occurrence, and proposed Flash Fire Probability Tree which is based on Fault Tree Analysis(FTA). The program visualizes positions of critical components in combat system, positions of penetrated components, selected Flash Fire Probability Tree, temperature profile, and tables for properties of matters.

  • 오늘날 통신기술의 급속한 발달에 따라 자동화 및 무인화 서비스를 제공하는 지능형 선박에 대한 연구, 개발이 활발이 진행 되고 있다. 이에 선박 내 각 장비들의 기능이 고도화 됨으로써, 선박네트워크 환경에서 이들 장비를 효율적으로 제어할 수 있는 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 지능형 선박의 백본 네트워크는 네트워크 구축 환경의 제약과 자동화 및 무인화 특징을 가진다는 점에서, 선박의 사고로 인한 네트워크의 결손이 큰 재해를 가져올 수 있으므로 고수준의 생존성이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 고생존 선박 통신망을 고려하여 네트워크 통신 장비들이 이중화 경로를 통해 서로 연결된 이중화 네트워크 토폴로지를 최소의 비용으로 설계하였다. 설계한 이중화 네트워크 토폴로지를 이론적 분석 및 ILP(Integer Linear Programming)를 통해 실험한 결과, 네트워크 생존성에 우수한 성능을 나타내는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The typical missions for the current stand-off UAVs are surveillance and reconnaissance. On the other hand, the primary mission for the future UCAS will be combat mission such as SEAD under the man-made ultimately hostile environment including SAM, antiaircraft artillery, threat radar, etc. Therefore, one of the most important challenges in UCAS design is improvement of survivability. The current studies for aircraft combat survivability are focused on the improvement of susceptibility and vulnerability of manned aircraft system. Although the survivability design methodology for UCAS might be very similar to the manned combat system but there are some differences in mission environment, system configuration, performance between manned and unmanned systems. So the parameters and their sensitivities which affect aircraft combat survivability are different in qualitatively and quantitatively. The susceptibility related parameters for F-16 C/D and X-45A as an example of manned and unmanned system are identified and the susceptibility parameter sensitivities are analyzed by using Monte-Carlo Simulation in this study.

Design of a Ship Backbone Network for Effective Performance and Construct Cost (효율적인 네트워크의 구축 비용 및 성능을 고려한 선박 백본 네트워크의 설계기법)

  • This paper proposes a design of a ship backbone network-based on the survival and efficiency of the ship network. Currently IEC operates the standard ship network, a standard specification "IEC 61162-410 maintains the operation of the network. IEC 61162-410 offers a high stability of the ship network by using terminal equipment. But current studies are incomplete because it has been assumed that the ship's network will operate at double its current capacity. This paper analyzes the double ship backbone topology for an organization and then will summarise the minimum costs required to implement the ship backbone topology using an ILP. Also, we present an effective traffic assignment technique that uses an ILP, metaheuristic, heuristic algorism-based underlying the ship backbone network. The results by experimenting the design of the network confirmed a greter efficiency, stability and cost-effectiveness of the ship network.
