원자력발전소에는 여러 종류의 케이블이 전력공급, 감시 및 제어신호의 전달을 위해 열악한 환경하에서 이용되고 있다. 발전소의 안전한 운전을 위해서 이 케이블이 어느 정도 열화 되었는지 확인할 필요가 있다. 특히, 원자력발전소의 수명 연장과 더불어 저압 케이블을 장기간 사용함에 따라서 저압케이블의 열화를 평가하기 위한 방법이 필요하게 되었다 저압케이블의 열화를 측정하는 파라미터로는 주변 온도, 절연재질의 경도, 파단시 연신률(EAB, Elongation At Breaking Point) 등이 있다. 그러나, 온도나 경도를 계측하는 검사는 정량적인 판단기준의 설정이 곤란하고 진단의 정밀도가 낮으며, 부분적으로 샘플링하는 방법은 샘플링되는 케이블에 연결된 부하를 정전시켜야 하고 장소와 시간적인 제약이 있으며, 전기적 측정법은 노화 초기부터 중기까지의 열화정도를 확인하기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 재료의 열화에 따라서 초음파의 음속이 변화한다는 이론적인 배경(1,2)을 바탕으로 저압 케이블 재료의 열화에 따른 초음파의 음속을 측정하였다. 이를 위해, 원자력발전소에서 사용되는 저압케이블을 가속 열화시켰으며, 저압케이블의 피복재에서 초음파의 음속을 측정할 수 있는 장비를 개발하여, 초음파의 음속측정 후 인장시험을 통해 파단시 연신률을 측정하였다. 파단시 연신률이 증가함에 따라서 음속이 선형적으로 감소하였으며, 초음파의 음속은 열화의 정량적 평가 파라미터로서의 사용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구에서는 수면무호흡증이 다양한 합병증을 유발하는 질병으로서, 이를 위한 표준화된 수면다원검사가 고가이며 측정이 불편함을 고려하여, 환자가 익숙한 환경에서 검사를 받을 수 있도록 스트레치 섬유센서를 이용한 무구속 상태의 웨어러블 모니터링 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 또한, 의복과 일체화된 디자인으로 제품화하여 그 유용성을 제안하고자 한다. 성인 남성용 롱 슬리브 티셔츠 형태로 착용형 수면무호흡 모니터링 스마트 의류를 개발하여, 수면무호흡 진단 지표 중 섬유형 센서를 기반으로 측정하는 호흡수(breathing rate)측정용 섬유센서, 산소포화도(oxygen saturation), 호흡기류(airflow)를 실시간 측정하였다. 최적의 조합비 샘플 4가지를 통한 gauge factor를 측정한 결과, gauge factor 20.3을 확인하였고, 3회 숨을 크게 내쉴 때 호흡유량이 최대 2048ml였다. 산소포화도 69.45%로 최소 측정 가능 산소포화도 70% 정도의 결과를 나타내었다. 세탁 후 인장에 따른 센서 성능 평가 결과는 전체적으로 gauge factor 18 수준의 값으로, 세탁에 대한 내구성이 입증되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 수면무호흡증 환자의 수면효율이 떨어지고 여러 합병증을 동반하는 문제에 대해, 가정에서 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 착용형 수면무호흡 모니터링 스마트 의류를 개발하여 호흡수, 호흡유량, 산소포화도의 3가지 지표를 측정 가능함을 확인하였다.

우리 주위를 살펴보면 한 번 사용하고 버리는 일회용품이 많다. 폭죽이나 탄약과 같은 일회용품이 대표적인데 이들 일회용품은 제조 후 한 동안 저장되어 있다가 필요한 때 사용하고 나면 폐기처분하게 된다. 하지만 이런 일회용품은 일반 운영장비와 달리 신뢰성평가가 제대로 이루어지지 못했다. 이에 본 연구에서는 일회용품 중에서 탄약에 대한 저장탄약신뢰성프로그램을 통해 탄약의 경우 신뢰성 확보를 위해 정부에서 어떤 일을 하는지 먼저 살펴본다. 이어서 통계분석적인 측면에서 탄약과 같은 일회용품에 대한 신뢰성분석 방안으로 어떤 것이 있는지 알아본다. 구체적으로 통계학에서 로트의 품질수준을 파악하는 샘플링검사를 활용하여 일정한 시기에 생산된 탄약에 대한 신뢰성의 수준을 파악할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 KS Q0001인 계수규준형 1회 샘플링검사표를 이용할 수 있음으로 보여준다. 다음으로 탄약의 저장신뢰도를 파악할 수 있는 방법으로 비모수적인 방법과 모수적인 방법을 소개한다. 비모수적인 방법중에서 특히 Kaplan-Meier 방법은 중도중단데이터가 포함된 경우에도 활용될 수 있다. 마지막으로 모수적인 방법 중에는 신뢰성분석에 많이 활용되는 와이블분포가 탄약의 저장신뢰도를 파악하는 데에도 활용될 수 있다.

본 연구에서는 영상 처리를 이용하여 외형적인 칼라 팔레트내의 불량품을 식별하는 실험을 수행하고자 한다. 기본적인 팔레트 자동선별시스템에 대해 기술하며, 각 샘플링된 팔레트에 대해 영상처리기법을 이용한 불순물 검출 알고리듬을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 이를 상용화할 수 있도록 윈도우환경의 비전처리 프로그램을 제시하였다. 끝으로 본 연구에 대한 평가와 앞으로의 연구과제에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

ISO 3951 (1989) Sampling Procedures and Charts for Inspection by Variables for Percent Nonconforming is an acceptable quality level (AQL) type sampling scheme. Sample size code letters and inspection levels in this International Standard correspond to those given in the ISO 2859 (1989), a standard for sampling plans by attributes. Two acceptance sampling procedures can be used ; tabular and graphical methods. The graphs could be used in less critical applications while the tabular method would be available for those familiar with MIL-STD-414 tables and to confirm the results of the graphs when needed. The sampling procedures of the ISO 3951 are matched to the ISO 2859 to enable us to move between them. Composite OC and ASN curves are given for AQL 2.5% and code letter F.

This paper considers the design of life test sampling plans based on Type II censored accelerated life tests. The lifetime distribution of products is assumed to be exponential. An estimator of acceleration factor between use condition stress and an accelerated level of stress higher than use condition stress is assumed to be known. The critical value for lot acceptance and the number of failure before censoring which satisfy the producer's and consumer's risk requirements are determined. The properties of the proposed life test sampling plans are investigated.

This paper aims at designing an accelerated life test sampling plan for bulk material and showing its application for an arc-welded gas pipe. It is an integrated model of the accelerated life test procedure and bulk sampling procedure. The accelerated life tests were performed by the regulation, RSD 0005 of ATS at KITECH and bulk sampling was used for acceptance. Design parameters might be total sample size(segments and increments), stress level and so on. We focus on deciding the sample size by minimizing the asymptotic variance of test statistic as well as satisfying consumer's risk under Weibull life time distribution with primary information on shape parameter.

For situations where there are several markets for a product with different profit/cost structures, an economic variables sampling plan is developed for determining the market to ship the lots to. It is assumed that the quality characteristic X is normally distributed with known variability and unknown mean having a normal prior distribution. Profit models are constructed which involve four profit/cost components ; profit from a conforming item, inspection cost, replacement cost, and cost from an accepted nonconforming item. Methods of finding optimal sampling plan are presented and a numerical example is given.

In this paper, a design and estimation procedure for the stochastically dependent nonstationary multiple acceptance sampling plans is developed. At first, the rough-cut acceptance and rejection numbers are given as an initial solution from the corresponding sequential sampling plan. A Monte-Carlo algorithm is used to find the acceptance and rejection probabilities of a lot. The conditional probability formula for a sample path is found. The acceptance and rejection probabilities are found when a decision boundary is given. Several decision criteria and the design procedure to select optimal plans are suggested. The formula for measuring performance of these sampling plans is developed. Type I and II error probabilities are also estimated. As a special case, by setting the stage size as 1 in a dependent sampling plan, a sequential sampling plan satisfying type I and II error probabilities is more accurate and a smaller average sample number can be found. In a numerical example, a Polya dependent process is examined. The sampling performances are shown to compare the selection scheme and the effect of the change of the dependency factor.

This article studies the design of Bayesian single attribute acceptance sampling plans under dependent production processes. An economic model is constructed by extending the mathematical model developed for non-Bayesian cases for Bayesian cases. The mathematical structure of the model is analyzed and it is used to prove that optimization of the model can be achieved by applying the solution method developed for non-Bayesian models directly. The effect of dependence patterns and the types of prior distributions on the design of sampling plans is also investigated through a computational study.
