Study on Bleaching Effect of Neutralization Agent (Sodium Meta Silicate and Triethylamine) Regarding Its Concentration - Focused on 10% Urea Hydrogen Peroxide Bleaching Gel - (도자기 표면 변색에 대한 중화제(Sodium Meta Silicate 및 Triethylamine)의 농도별 표백 효과 - 10% 과산화요소 표백겔을 중심으로 -)

  • This paper examined the bleaching effect of the two types of gel made with neutralizing agent such as sodium meta silicate gel & triethylamine gel mixed with carbopol resin 940 & 934 which has thickness effect in broad pH region and mixed with 10% hydrogen peroxide. Sodium meta silicate gel(1.6g included) provided pH 10, the most suitable environment for bleaching. The result of comparison of the baseline colour changes(${\Delta}E*ab$) and colour changes according to time(${\Delta}E*ab$) is as following. Group1(carbopol 940, sodium meta silicate, Urea Hydrogen Peroxide) showed 112% efficiency at CS-2; 63.3% at CS-4; 87.4% at CS-6. Group2(carbopol 934, sodium meta silicate, Urea Hydrogen Peroxide) showed 77.3%, 67.3%, 109.6% at CS-8, CS-10, CS-12 respectively; CT-1, CT-3, CT-5 of Group3(carbopol 940, triethylamine, Urea Hydrogen Peroxide) showed 36.8%, 73.2%, 74%; In Group4(carbopol 934, triethylamine, Urea Hydrogen Peroxide), efficiency of CT-6, CT-8, and CT-10 was 81.7%, 95.4%, and 95.7%. The paper showed that various concentration of neutralizing agent such as sodium meta silicate and triethylamine have bleaching effect. Viscosity of the gel including sodium meta silicate was higher than the gel including triethylamine. High viscosity helps the bleaching gel sit on the smooth slope of the ceramics. As a result, sodium meta silicate is considered to provide thickening and bleaching effect required in producing 10% hydrogen peroxide gel.

  • Today, AI image creation programs are optimized for various and specialized purposes such as fashion product advertising, customized fashion style suggestions, and design development, and are actively utilized in the fashion industry. Meanwhile, color is a powerful formative element and plays an important role in expressing images for suggesting products or fashion styles. This study seeks to expand understanding of the use of Midjourney by identifying the characteristics of color combinations that appear in clothing images created using Midjourney among AI image creation tools. The results of this study are as follows. First, the initial image created in Midjourney reflects the existing image color used to create the image more than the color specified in the command. Second, the color combinations that appear in the clothes of the images created in Midjourney are divided into separate and mixed colors. The ratio of colors expressed in a separate color scheme is affected by the color order specified in the command. The number of colors combined in a mixed color scheme appears as a combination of fewer colors than the total number of colors of clothing in the existing image used to create the image in Midjourney and the number of colors specified in the command. Third, caution is needed because changes in background color can affect the user's color perception of the clothes in the image and the formation of the costume image. It is hoped that the results of this study will be helpful in fashion design education and practice.

Change of yellowness ($b^*$) edge in time tend to increase saturation increases, the yellowness value of Cafelatte, Vanillalatte, Americano, except for distilled water at the saturation of yellowness value were no statistically significant (p<.05). 4. Change of color difference (${\Delta}E^*$) in order of (Americano>Cafelatte>Vanillalatte) as time of immersion increases change of color difference appear and no statistically significant (p<.05). Americano, the edge, since there can be more than chrominance is 3.3 uses station than a Vanillalatte, Cafelatte and discoloration when edge in 28, since even in the one to two difficult to distinguish with the naked eye as a discoloration. It was no difference statistically in color difference (${\Delta}E^*$) value in distilled water (p>.05).

  • Ginseng plants in the 2nd year were grown under the shade (90-95%) of colored cellophane films at $15^{\circ}C$ in a natural light phytotron. Relative root grown (final/initial) was in decreasing order of blue, green, white, yellow and red. The growth of aerial part, especially stem length was poorest in blue light with relative root growth negatively correlated with stem length. In this relation each color showed specific domain. Stem length showed positive linear correlation with leaf area per plant in each and among light though it was not significant in red light. The content and ratio of chlorophyll a and b in leaf were in the decreasing order of White, Blue, Green, Red and Yellow. There is positive correlation between chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b, and between total chlorophyll and chl:a/b ratio. Blue color shade is expected to be beneficial for ginseng production.

  • 본 연구에서는 한국 특산종으로 남해안 섬에서만 자라는 황칠나무(Dendropanax morbifera Lev., 황칠이라고 함)를 사용하여 염색하였다. 황칠나무는 면역력 증진, 신경 안정, 항균, 항산화에 효능이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 황칠염색은 $60^{\circ}C$에서 이루어졌으며, 발효한 액체 황칠을 염료로 사용하였다. 매염제에 따른 염색을 실시하고 CCM을 사용하여 색발현 특성을 알아보았다. 면직물의 경우 대조직물의 K/S값이 0.13에 비해 식소다 동시매염, 고백반 식소다 동시매염, 고백반 동시매염, 고백반 선매염, 황수(영천지역의 약수) 후매염은 각각 1.53, 0.99, 1.62, 1.65, 2.21로 차이가 있었다. 울직물의 경우 대조직물의 K/S값이 0.48에 비해 식소다 동시매염, 고백반 동시매염, 고백반 식소다 동시매염, 고백반 선매염, 황수 후매염은 각각 2.61, 1.97, 3.20, 3.07, 4,59로 차이가 있었다. 견직물의 경우 대조직물의 K/S값이 0.30에 비해 식소다 동시매염, 고백반 동시매염, 고백반 식소다 동시매염, 고백반 선매염, 황수 후매염은 각각 2.06, 1.21, 1,77, 1.80, 3.23로 차이가 있었다. 황수 매염이 식소다나 백반 매염보다 효과가 있는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 매염의 순서에 따라서도 차이가 나는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Interpretation of Coloring Technique and Pigment Analysis for King Sejo's Palanquin in Gongju Magoksa Temple, Korea (공주 마곡사 세조대왕연의 안료분석 및 채색기법 해석)

  • According to oral tradition, the King Sejo's palanquin is indeed the palanquin of King Sejo, the 7th monarch of the Joseon dynasty who reigned from 1455 to 1468, which was left behind after visiting the Magoksa temple. The palanquin is painted in five colors, mainly black, white, yellow, red and green. The chromaticity measurement of the yellow pigment showed that orpiment and gold are a noticeable distinction between the lightness and b values. In the case of the red pigment, a values of areas painted with cinnabar tend to measure at high values. As a result of the optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy analyses, it was determined that Chinese ink was used for the black pigment, lead white and white clay were used for the white, and orpiment and gold for the yellow. The red pigment was found to be the result of minium, cinnabar and red ocher, atacamite was used as green pigment. Though the analysis results of the cross sections on very small exfoliation fragments of pigments, it was confirmed that white clay and lead white were used for the preparation layer. In addition, several coloration techniques were considered based on these analyses.

Molecular Cloning of a Gene Cluster for Phenanthrene Degradation from Pseudomonas sp. Strain DJ77 and Its Expression in Escherichia coli (Pseudomonas sp. strain DJ77로 부터 phenanthrene 분해 유전자군의 클로닝과 대장균에서의 발현)

  • We cloned a gene cluster encoding phenanthrene-degrading enzymes on a 6.8-kb Xhol fragment from the Pseudomonas sp. DJ77 chromosomal DNA into the vector pBLUESCRIPT SIC(+). The resultant clone, containing the recombinant plilsmid pHENX7, was able to convert 3-methylcatechol to a yellow mela-cleavage compound. Since the pHENX7R in which the DNA insert was cloned in the opposite orientation lacked extradiol dioxygenase activity. the direction of transcription was established. Four polypeptides, PhnC (24 kDa). PhnD (31 kDa), PhnE (34 kDa). and PhnF (15 kDa), were identified in E coli JM101 transformed with several pHENX7-derived plasmids. The locations and extents of ~ndividual genes were determined by subcloning. The gene order was phnC-phnD-phnE-phnF-phnG, and phnC, phnD, phnE, and phnG genes encoded glutathione S-transferase, mrta-cleavage compound hydrolase, extradiol dioxygenase, mera-cleavage compound dehydrogenase, respectively.

  • The author co-citation analysis is generally based on the frequency of the first author because most citation databases include only the first author in the bibliographic information. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to provide a better knowledge structure by utilizing the multiple authorship of author co-citation analysis. To achieve the purpose of this study, four different data sets are prepared: (1) counting the first author, (2) counting all the author without limiting the total frequency, (3) counting all the author with limiting the total frequency, and (4) counting adjusted frequencies based on the order of author subscription. The findings of this study show that there are clear differences between the knowledge structure counting all the author and the one counting only the first author. In addition, depending on the different methods, there are subtle changes of cluster members for authors.

  • Mu d1(Ap lac) bacteriophage can be used to search for genes which are members of a common regulatory network without having to know the functions of the genes in advance. Aim was for obtaining the loci in the SOS network as well as temperature inducible loci. For this purpose, recA441 allele was used. This allele encodes a thermosensitive recA gene product; thus, the recA441 allele can be activated upon temperature upshift without by external DNA damage. Approximately 10, 000 colonies were screened, and then searched for the colonies which expressed .betha.-galactosidase higher level at 42.deg.C than at 30.deg.C. The strains identified fell into two dlasses; (i) ones in which the increased expression was $recA^{+}$ $lexA^{+}$ -dependent, that is, din(damage-inducible) genes which were due to the activation of recA441 allele and (ii) ones in which the increased expression was $recA^{+}$ $lexA^{+}$ -independent and only temperature-inducible, tin genes. Rough mapping position was obtained for these genes.

A Study on Variations in Physical Properties and Color of Hair depending on Dye Type and Perm, Hair Coloring Treatment Procedure (염모제 종류와 시술 순서에 따른 모발의 물리적 형태와 색의 변화)

  • This study intends to find out possible variations in physical properties and color of hair depending on dye type(acidic and alkalic) and permanent treatment/hair dyeing procedure. To meet the goals, healthy hair samples were taken from 5 women's hair speciment in 20's without experiencing in any harmful substance via long-term medications. and beauty care using chemicals. To get possible findings depending upon hair dye type and treatment procedure, both acidic and alkalic hair dye were applied on some specimens after permanent treatment, while on other specimens before permanent treatment. In order to determine scale damage, this study used SEM(Hitachi S-2500C) both hair thickness and tensile strength were measured with optical microscope(Nikon, MM-60/L3T) and Instron (4482-standard). Wave configuration was measured transverse and longitudinal round diameter. The chromaticity of each specimen was measured using a spectrocolorimeter(Color Techno System, JP/JX-777) with visual $C/2^{\circ}$ (at $2^{\circ}$ with C light source) monitor fixed to determine Lab and CMYK values. As a result, it was found that hair specimens were more significantly damaged with alkalic hair dye treatment than with acidic hair dye treatment, while hair specimens were more effectively dyed with the former hair dye type than with the latter one. For possible results depending on treatment procedure, it was found that hair specimens were less damaged but more effectively dyed with permanent treatment followed by hair dyeing than vice versa. Therefore, it was concluded that permanent treatment followed by acidic hair dyeing would be more effective in reducing hair damages.
