Quality Characteristics of Fish Paste Containing Curcuma longa L. Powder (울금 분말을 첨가한 어묵의 품질특성)

  • This study was conducted to investigate rheological and sensory characteristics of fish paste prepared with Curcuma longa L. powder (0, 1, 3, 5, 7%). The moisture content of the fish paste ranged from 71.35 to 72.97%. Increasing the amount of Curcuma longa L. powder in the fish paste tended to decrease the pH value and the folding test good score in all samples. Increasing the amount of Curcuma longa L. powder in the fish paste also tended to decrease the lightness (L) in the hunter color value, but to increase the redness (a) and yellowness (b). For the textural characteristics, the addition of Curcuma longa L. powder increased the strength and decreased the springiness. In a sensory evaluation, the addition of 3% Curcuma longa L. powder had the best score in taste and overall preference. Therefore, this results suggest that adding 3% Curcuma longa L. powder would be feasible for making Curcuma longa L. fish paste.

Image Quality for TV Genre Depending on Viewers Experience (시청자 경험에 의한 TV장르별 화질)

  • Conventional image quality studies have been focused on 'naturalness' and has relied on memory color. Memory colors are mainly formed for familiar objects with prior experience, and the more faithfully these memories are reflected, the more naturalness of the reproduced image quality increases. In particular, the brightness and saturation of memory colors play an important role in increasing the preference of image quality as well as naturalness. Therefore, in the case of existing image quality studies, image quality characteristics were studied focusing on natural objects and people with memory. We extracted representative images of each genre (sports, documentaries, news, entertainment and music, and movies), adjusted the brightness, contrast, and saturation of each image, and conducted an experiment to evaluate perceived quality. Based on situational context, the results of this classification indicated that genres of television content can be divided into two categories: proximate and indirect experiences. Proximate experience best characterizes outdoor sports, dramas, and nature documentaries, where their image qualities have shown to have a strong correlation with brightness and contrast. On the other hand, indirect experience best characterizes news, music shows and SF/action movies. The image quality perception for indirect experiences was shown to be closely related to and optimized by contrast and saturation.

옻나무 추출액의 급여가 산란계의 생산성 및 장내미생물에 미치는 영향

  • 참옻나무 추출액이 산란계의 생산성과 계란품질, 장내미생물 변화 및 영양소 소화율에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 산란졔 Isa brown 57주령 480수를 공시하여 8주간 케이지에서 사양시험을 실시하였다. 산란율, 산란량 및 사료요구율은 참옻나무 추출액 5000 ppm 급여구가 산란율이 무첨가 대비 유의적으로 향상되었으며, 전반적으로 추출물 급여구의 산란율이 증가하였다. 평균난중과 사료섭취량은 처리간 차이가 없었다. 난각강도, 난각후도는 추출액 급여구가 무첨가 대비 유의적으로 개선되었으며, 난황색 및 Haugh unit은 전 기간에서 추출액 첨가구가 개선되는 경향을 보였다. 맹장내 유산균과 E. coli는 처리간 차이를 보이지 않았으며, Salmonella는 무첨가 대비 추출액 급여구가 약간 낮은 경향을 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 인정되지 않았다. 영양소 소화율은 옻나무 추출액 급여구가 무첨가 대비 전반적으로 향상되는 결과를 보였다.

Study of perception of the visual depth caused by the color correction (입체영상 제작에서 색 보정 결과가 입체감 인지에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • These days, as digital producing technique has been developed, 3D imaging technique is used in high-tech computer and T.V. Also study for 3D producing technique is actively in progress. Moreover, as James Cameron's movie, 'Avatar' released in 2009 was a box office hit, the issue about 3D image came to the fore again. At this point, I decided to study the effect of the visual depth caused by the color correction during the post-production stage. The purpose of this study is to offer information about processing effective images through data about the effect of the visual depth that applies the color correction during the post-production stage. Basically, I supposed that color and contract would have effects on depth of 3D image. As a result, I could find out the changes of visual depth, space perception and sense of depth throughout the experiment. Applying this result,, I produced the 15 minutes of 3D advertisement movie and I found out that the color correction during the post-production stage was very effective for 3D depth. The left image and the right image by beam splitter based rig and parallel rig were used for this study. Also I adjusted the strong contrast by the color correction during the post-production stage after correcting convergence and visual depth during editing. As a result, I could produce images which had strong sense of space and sense of depth.

  • 최근 비오이 하이디스에서는 무제한의 광시야각과 시야각에 따른 색변화가 최소화된 선명한 색 특성을 갖는 Advanced FFS(Fringe Field Switching) 기술을 개발하였다. 이 기술은 resin 기술적용(평탄화에 의한 고개구율)없이 종래의 FFS 기술에서 액정의 전기 광특성을 최적화하는 새로운 디자인 룰을 찾아내어 실현하였다. 진보된 화소 개념은 전극의 모서리 구조, 전극 간격/폭, 칼라 필터의 블랙 마트릭스(BM)와 전극 간격등의 key parameters들의 최적화에 의해 달성되었고 액정 셀 내의 모서리와 전기장등이 액정을 미세하게 조정할 수 있도록 있게 된 것이다. 이러한 진보된 설계 개념은 모든 FFS 제품에 반영되어 개발되었다. 뿐만 아니라 12.1" XGA 제품에서 투과율이 22% 증가하고 흑백 대비비(Contrast Ratio)는 33% 증가한 600 : 1의 세계 최고 사양을 갖는 제품을 개발하게 되었다. 특히 태블릿과 노트북용 TFT- LCD 모듈에서 단일 도메인(Single Domain) 모드로도 White상태에서 시야각에 따른 색변화가 0.02 이하의 특성을 갖고 180도/180도의 무제한 시야각을 갖고 있다. Developed Health Tea Using Flowers of Robinia Pseudoacacia L. (아까시나무 꽃을 이용한 건강 차 개발)

  • This experiment was conducted to develop a healthy tea by fumigation, low temperature drying, drying and instant immersion using flowers of Robinia pseudoacacia L. that bloom in May in all regions of Korea. The drying was drying after fumigation treatment, low temperature drying, drying and instant immersion. The color of the flowers, beverage color, the sugar content, and the taste of the beverage were measured after changing the weight of the flowers. The change in the weight of flower tea was 11% ~ 12.5% of the body weight. The change in the color of the flowers appeared to be the lightest brown in the treatment of drying, and the other treatment area became turbidity white. The color of the beverage was yellowish from the tea treated with drying and became pale yellow when fumigation, low temperature drying and instant immersion. Sugar content was highest at 2.9brix from the drying and 2.6-2.7brix at the other three treatments. The taste was the best in the drying treatment, and the instant taste dipped in the tastes.

  • Electrochromic materials based on conducting polymers with pendant chromophores as well as their electrochromic properties are described. The conducting polymers described aye polypyrrole, polythiophene, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), poly (cyclopentadithiophene), and poly (1,4-bis [2- (3,4-ethylenedioxy) thienyl] benzene). The chromophores described are viologen and perylenetetra-carboxylic diimide. When the wavelength ranges of absorption of the conducting polymer and the chromophore aye not overlapping, multiple electrochromism was achieved. When the wavelength ranges are largely overlapping, higher contrast was achieved. An easy method for prediction of the film thickness for maximum contrast of a given electrochromic material is also described.

  • In this paper, the configuration of a reflectIve bistable tWIsted nematic (BTN) liquid crystal cell is optmnzed for high contrast and high brightness operation. We searched for the optimum opncal parameters of a reflective BTN cell by calculating its optical performances at 3 wavelengths; red, green, and blue. By studying the effect of each optical parameter on the optical performances, we found that the angle of !he polmlzer IS more important than any other opnea! parmlleters iu the deSIgn of a reflective BTN cell.   • When a human-being gets a wrong perception about any object is a misunderstanding and what they feel through sense of sight is an optical illusion. The study about those illusions have been given out to not only the fields of fine art, design, and animation but also psychology First, this paper puts in order an op art, influenced in fine art and design, and animation using persistence of vision, relating an optical illusion. Second, it analyses the theory of art form using an optical illusion about brightness, saturation, contrast and luminosity of color. Finally, it makes an experiment of standard of perception on students. The study of art form using an optical illusion is another way to represent fine art comparisons and visual image including animation.

Adaptive Color Correction Method to Monitor in Color Laser Printer (모니터에 적응적인 칼라 레이저 프린터의 색 변환 방법)

  • The Color Management System in recent printers adopts ICC profiles for both monitors and printers. However, the ICC profile doesn't contain the characteristics of reproduced color on each monitor, because the color on each monitor is changed by user adjustment such as color temperature, brightness, and contrast adjustment. It is also depended on the backlight type and lifetime. As a result, unwanted color is reproduced on the printed paper, not like that on the monitor. To overcome the color difference between monitors and printers, it is needed to control the information of ICC profile. That is, first, the ICC profile is generated by the measurement of monitors having user set, then, through the CMS, the color on monitors can be produced on printed paper. However, it is difficult to apply the above system for normal users due to absence of measuring equipment and time consuming process. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel color matching technique based on the estimation of condition for each monitor having user set. The estimation is performed by a simple comparison visual test using a test image on printed paper and monitor. Then, the condition of monitor is applied to the ICC profile. As a result, the new ICC profile contains the color difference between user monitor and printer. The experimental results show the printed images using our proposed method have almost similar color with those on monitors.
