  • 인쇄품질을 보증하는데 가장 중요한 것 중의 하나는 색 관리다. 색 관리는 발주자가 의도한대로 인쇄를 하기 때문에 매우 중요한 문제이지만, 인쇄를 여러 과정을 거치면서 색이 조금씩 변동됨으로써 발주자가 의도한 색과 멀어지는 경우도 있다. 최근에는 인쇄공정의 디지털화로 인해 데이터 입고에서부터 디지털화가 이루어지고 있으며, 이것에 대해서는 전 공정에서 인쇄기의 색에 기초해서 만들어진 '색 기준'에 의해 컬러매니지먼트가 필요하게 되었다. 앞으로는 어느 공정에서 색을 맞추더라도 아른 공정에서 색이 변동도지 않고, 또 '색 기준'에서의 관리를 현장만이 아니라 영업 담당자도 이해해 효율화됨으로써 영업활동을 하는 데에도 필요하게 되었다. 이에 농도계를 전반적으로 다루는 컬러관리 시스템(CMS;Color Management System)에 대한 국내 시장동향과 국내 CMS 시장 전망을 살펴보았다.

  • 타이타늄을 2단계로 양극산화하여 색을 유지하며 표면에 튜브형태를 갖는 산화막을 제조하였다. 타이타늄을 양극산화 시, 전해질 농도, 양극산화 전압, 시간 등에 따라 다양한 색을 띄게 되는데, 기름기 등의 오염물질로 인한 색 변화, 내 지문성 등의 문제가 유발된다. 이에 타이타늄을 양극산화하여 나노튜브를 성장시킨 후, 기존 산화막 제조와 같은 조건으로 다시 양극산화하였다. 그 결과 기존 barrier 형태의 산화막 색이 구현되면서, 표면의 돌기형태에 따른 접촉각이 변화하게 되었다.

  • The removal of colours from aqueous solution and/or dispersions has been studied by dispersed-air flotation, in a semi-batch column. Two colours were used for the experiments: Basic Yellow 28 (basic) and Direct Orange 31 (basic). All two were effectively removed by flotation within 8 min. Sodium dodecyl sulfate, sodium oleate and amines were found to be effective as collectors in the removal of colour, which was found to be related to the pH of the solution and the amount of collector added to it, with high collector dosages causing the process to become pH-independent.

  • The preparation procedure and optimal composition of polyurethane diagnostic membranes were described to measure the glucose concentration in a urine. Vessel size, blade size and the ratio of solvent mixtures were found to be critical factors to get the better sensitivity and the stability of the color which appeared on polyurethane membranes after the reaction with the urine glucose. These urine strips made of polyurethane membranes made it possible to measure the urine glucose quantitatively because they showed a good color separation at glucose concentration from 30mg/dL to 500mg/dL.

  • Among many factors for evaluating the performance of color printers, the color uniformity is an important factor during the stage of development and mass production. Currently the color uniformity is measured manually using densitometers and the data is analyzed by inspectors to evaluate the performance. In this paper a new method of estimating the color uniformity using scanners and average brightness is presented. The color uniformity of printouts is estimated by using the test pattern and commercially available scanner. It is shown from experiments that the estimated data are similar to the data measured by densitometers. Also, with the analysis of the color uniformity, the usefulness of the proposed approach is presented.

  • NiNH4PO4 was Prepared from waste Ni catalyst used in hydrogenation of oil and fat. NiNH4PO4 was calcined at different temperature respectly 800,100,100˚C to prepare Nickel yellow. The result from this experiment are summerizer as follows: 1) Nickel yellow formed at 1100˚C was most clearness yellow color from color analyzer date. 2) Nickel yellow was consist of -Ni2P2O2 Ni3(PO4)2 from X-ray diffraction analysis. 3) The endothermic pick at 100˚C and exotherwic pick about 1050˚C on calcination of NiNH4PO4 were checked in DTA (difference Thermal analysis data.)

  • In the present study, the seed color of 200 common bean genetic resources was analyzed and located on the HTML color chart to classify these resources according to color characteristics. This classification method predicts the components of seed and may serve as a new method for efficiently using secured genetic resources. The imagary data of common bean exhibiting various seed colors were expressed using the HTML color chart. According to the proposed classification method, the seed color was distributed in seven categories: yellow-green, yellow, brown, red, white, gray, and indigo. In addition, the distribution of each seed color was according to its concentration. The distribution by concentration was the highest for red, whereas the distribution of gray and yellow-green was not concentration-dependent. As the dominant pigments based on color distribution, chlorophylls in yellow-green; carotenoids in yellow; and anthocyanins in brown, red, white, gray, and indigo significantly affected seed color. When expressed objectively, seed colors can be applied to the systematic management, breeding, and cultivation of genetic resources and can be useful for marketing or developing products of desired colors. This method can also be applied to other crops.

  • UV-vis spectroscopy is one of the powerful tools for measuring the concentrations of reactant and products during a chemical reaction. However, there is an limitation of using the technique when the reaction undergoes in high concentration and high temperature. Color analysis using camera images can provide the identical results with UV-vis analysis with regardless of the sample concentration and temperature. The catalytic reduction reaction of resazurin to resorufin was investigated using the color analysis with the color spaces such as CIE L*a*b*. Moreover, the color analysis enabled the independent analysis of two different material's concentrations without the deconvolution of overlapped wavelengths unlike the case of using UV-vis spectroscopy.

광-펜톤 반응을 이용한 Rhodamine B의 색 제거

  • 수용성 안료인 RhB를 대상으로 광-펜톤 공정의 최전 운전조건을 구하고, 광-펜톤 공정을 구성하는 개별 공정을 비교한 결과 다음의 결론을 얻었다. 광-펜톤 공정의 최적 $Fe^{2+}$$H_2O_2$ 투입량은 각각 0.0031 mmol과 0.625 mmol이었으며, 최적 pH는 3으로 나타났으나, 7이하의 pH 범위에서는 RhB 색 감소에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 초기 반응 속도에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 인자는 UV 광 전력 > $H_2O_2$> 철염의 순으로 나타났다. 80분간의 반응시간 경과 후 최종 RhB 농도를 고찰한 결과 UV 광 전력이 낮을 경우 색도가 다 제거되지 않기 때문에 광-펜톤 공정에서 UV 광 전력이 색 제거에 대한 가장 큰 인자라고 사료되었다. 광-펜톤 공정의 개별 공정인 UV, $H_2O_2$, 펜톤을 이용하여 RhB의 농도감소를 고찰한 결과 초기 반응속도상수는 펜톤 공정의 빠른 초기 반응로 인해 펜톤 > UV >$H_2O_2$로 나타났으나, 최종 RhB 농도를 고려할 경우 UV> 펜톤 > $H_2O_2$로 나타났다.
