A Study on Content Standard of Geographical Education (지리교육내용의 표준설정 방법 - 지적영역을 중심으로 -)

  • The contents of geographical education present too inclusive and abstract regard as criteria in an existing curriculum. And geographical education oneself's system is difficult because they are set to the one part of educational side. This study pursuit to make content standard of geographical education based on geography as an alternative. This paper present standard setting up 5 steps. They are Ultimate Theme, Basic Theme, Major Standard, Standard, Detailed Standard. Ultimate Theme is discern geographical education whole : understand of interaction human and environment, understand of place and region, understand of interaction human and region. Basic Theme is concrete of ultimate theme ; geographical skill, physical environment, human environment, place and region, interaction of human and region. Standard is concrete and measurable level of basic theme, it is consist of three steps in Major Standard, Standard, Detailed Standard tv level of specification. Major Standard is consist of 17 item, Standard is 48 item, and Detailed Standard is detailed to unit level.

  • We present an autonomous entertainment dolphin robot system based on ubiquitous sensor networks(USN). Generally, It is impossible to apply to USN and GPS in underwater bio-mimetic robots. But An Entertainment dolphin robot which presented in this paper operates on the water not underwater. Navigation of the underwater robot in a given area is based on GPS data and the acquired position information from deployed USN motes with emphasis on user interaction. Body structures, sensors and actuators, governing microcontroller boards, and swimming and interaction features are described for a typical entertainment dolphin robot. Actions of mouth-opening, tail splash or water blow through a spout hole are typical responses of interaction when touch sensors on the body detect users' demand. Dolphin robots should turn towards people who demand to interact with them, while swimming autonomously. The functions that are relevant to human-robot interaction as well as robot movement such as path control, obstacle detection and avoidance are managed by microcontrollers on the robot for autonomy. Distance errors are calibrated periodically by the known position data of the deployed USN motes.

  • Augmented Reality(AR) assists human's cognitive ability through the information visualization by substantiating information about virtual situation. This technology is studied in a variety of ways including education, design, industry, and so on, by various supply of information devices equipped with cameras and display monitors. Since the most of the AR system depends on limited interaction that responds to the order from user, it can not reflect diverse real world situation. In this study, we suggest a knowledge based augmented reality system, which is composed of context awareness agent that provides recognized context information, along with knowledge based component that provides intelligent capability by utilizing domain knowledges. With this capability, the augmented object can generate dynamic model intelligently by reflecting context information, and can make the interaction possible among the multiple objects. We developed rule based context awareness system along with 3D model generation, and tested interaction among the augmented objects. And we suggest a framework that can provide a convenient way of developing augmented reality system for user.

  • We have many difficult problems to efficient development and management of a Web-based education system because of the various requirements of various demanders. A Web-based education system consists of instructors and operation managers of system and learners. Those three factors are the most important e]ements of a Web-based education system and we must consider those elements for design and development. In constructivist approach. acquiring knowledge is made by experiences among each members or elements. So we can say that the constructivist elements of a Web-based education system is learners and instructors, operation managers. In this study, we design and implement a Web-based education system, based on the interactions of extended demanders of Web-based education system in constructivist approach and object oriented modeling. In this study we can improve portability and reduce cost because of platform independence from presented system. And in experiment, we compare and analyse two platform web-based education system a point of effectiveness, cost, convenience.

  • As the technology and level of autonomous vehicles advance and they drive in more diverse road environments, an intuitive and efficient interaction system is needed to resolve and respond to the situations the vehicle faces. The development of driving technology from the perspective of autonomous driving has the ultimate goal of responding to situations involving humans or more. In particular, in complex road environments where mutual concessions must be made, the role of a system that can respond flexibly through efficient communication methods to understand each other's situation between vehicles or between pedestrians and vehicles is important. In order to resolve the status of the vehicle or the situation being faced, the provision and method of information must be intuitive and the efficient operation of an autonomous vehicle through interaction with intention is required. In this paper, we explain the vehicle structure and functions that can display information about the situation in which the autonomous vehicle driving in a living lab can drive stably and efficiently in a diverse and complex environment.

Changes in Leaf and Reproductive Traits of Mountain Ash (Sorbus alnifolia) as Urban Flourisher in the Seoul Metropolitan, South Korea (한국 서울 식생의 번성자로서 팥배나무의 형질 변화 양상)

  • Understanding the functional traits of dominant species in urban ecosystems provides insight into species' trait adaptation and ecosystem function in response to fragmented and isolated urban vegetation and reduced biological interactions. This study compared means and variances of environmental factors (geographic, meteorological, and soil attributes) and 4 leaf traits (leaf area, specific leaf area, leaf dry mass content, and leaf shape index) and 7 reproductive traits (fruit width, fruit length, fruit shape, fruit dry weight, fruit dry matter content, seed weight, and seed ratio) measured of 40 Sorbus alnifolia individuals in four mountainous areas south of Seoul downtown, South Korea. We then performed the multivariate analysis of trait combinations. While the measured environmental factors indicated the individuality of the survey sites, the urban vegetation was drier and had a longer growth period. The leaves of S. alnifolia in the urban areas were smaller and heavier, and the fruits produced longer and lighter seeds, showing the traits affected by long urbanization. The study confirmed changes in the growth and reproduction mechanism of the S. alnifolia population under the urban environment, indicating reduced biological interaction due to vegetation fragmentation and isolation. This study provides limited but distinct ecological information about the function and persistence of key species in cities with a reduced scale of biological interactions and many negative environmental factors such as air pollution.

BCP/PCL scaffold의 표면개질을 위한 실리콘, 카르복실기, fibronectin 코팅 및 생체적합성에 관한 연구

  • 조직공학의 중요한 요소로 작용하는 scaffold는 여러 가지 필수적인 조건들을 만족시켜야 한다. 대표적인 특징들로는 (1)생분해성 및 비독성, (2)넓은 표면적을 갖는 상호 연결된 내부 다공성 구조, (3)구조적 안정성, (4)세포부착 기질의 제공, (5)낮은 면역 반응성, (6)혈전 형성 억제, (7)친수성, (8)생체 기능성 등을 들 수 있다. 이러한 scaffold가 갖추어야 할 특성 중에서 세포 부착 기질 제공을 위하여 scaffold에 표면 개질을 통한 기능기를 도입하였다. 본 연구에서는 BCP scaffold의 구조적 안정성 부여를 위하여 PCL(polycaprolactone)을 infiltration 하였다. PCL은 소수성의 특징을 갖고 있어 세포와 상호작용 할 수 있는 생물학적 반응기가 없기 때문에 세포와의 친화성이 떨어진다. 세포의 친화성을 높여주기 위해 실리콘의 전구체인 TEOS(tetraethly orthosilicate)를 코팅하고, 그 위에 카복실기(carboxylic acid group)를 도입하였다. 또한 세포의 고정화를 높여주기 위해 fibronectin을 코팅하여 BCP/PCL scaffold의 세포 친화성을 높여주었다. 이와 같이 제조된 고기능성 BCP/PCL scaffold의 내부 구조와 특성을 Micro-CT로 확인하였고, 또한 실리콘 코팅 여부를 확인하기 위하여 SEM-EDS를 통해 관찰하였으며, FT-IR 관찰을 통해 카복실기 도입 여부를 확인 하였다. 또한 생체적합성 평가를 위해 MTT assay, 조골세포의 부착에 미치는 영향을 관찰하기 위해 SEM, 조골세포의 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향을 관찰하기 위해 RT-PCR을 통해 확인 하였다.

Development of Smart Mirror System based on the Raspberry Pi (Raspberry Pi를 이용한 스마트 미러 개발)

  • With people's continuous research and exploration in the field of artificial intelligence, more relatively mature artificial intelligence technology is applied in people's daily life. Mirrors are the most commonly used daily necessities in life, and it should be applied to artificial intelligence. The research results of this paper show that the smart mirror designed based on the raspberry pi displays weather, temperature, greetings, and has a human-mirror interaction function. The research method of this paper uses the Raspberry pi 3B + as the core controller and Google Assistant as the intelligent control. When connected to the network via Raspberry Pi's own WiFi, the mirror can automatically display and update time, weather and news information features. You can wake up the Google Assistant using keywords, then control the mirror to play music, remind the time, It implements the function of smart mirror voice interaction. Also, all the hardware used in this study is modular assembly. Later, it is convenient for user to assemble by himself later. It is suitable for market promotion at an affordable price.

Correlation between Pragmatic Language and Executive Function in Patients with Acquired Brain Injury (후천성 뇌손상 환자의 화용언어와 집행기능 간 상관성)

  • Pragmatic language impairment is closely related to the executive function difficulties in patients with acquired brain injury(ABI). This study was designed to explore the correlation between two domains following ABI. Thirty-five participants with ABI were grouped into 21 aphasics due to stroke and 14 TBIs. All subjects were over 55 years old. Measures of two domains were administered to all participants. As a result, figurative language comprehension and functional/symbolic language were significantly correlated with the activating task in aphasic group. All tasks were significantly correlated in TBI group. Aphasic patients' figurative language comprehension significantly predicted the activating task. In TBI group, figurative language expression and functional/symbolic language were the predictable tasks of planning and activating, respectively. Current study demonstrates the evidence of a significant association between pragmatic language and executive function, and provides appropriate tasks used for cognitive-linguistic intervention of individuals with ABI.

  • 유니뷰(Uniview)는 분산 처리 시스템의 소프트웨어를 개발하는데 효과적인 디버깅 작업을 지원하는 분산처리 진단/교정 소프트웨어 시스템이다. 본 논문은 자바 프로그램의 디버깅을 위해 자바 언어에 대해 부족한 디버깅 기술을 해결하고 사용자에게 다양한 디버깅 정보를 제공하기 위하여 유니뷰에 자바 디버깅을 위한 기능을 추가한다. 유니뷰는 분산 네트워크 환경에서 자바 디버깅 환경을 구축하고 통합된 환경에서 상호 작용을 디버깅할 수 있도록 한다.
