The Improvement of Incompatible Sliding Contact Problem Using Mesh Refinement And Its Application to Railway Skewed Culvert Problem (요소 세분화를 이용한 비적합 미끄러지는 접촉문제의 개선과 철도 사각암거 문제에의 적용)

  • The vehicle-track structure dynamic interaction analysis problem can be treated as sliding contact problem, and it is assumed that vehicle run at a constant speed over a rail modeled as beam elements. Unfortunately, Salome-Meca can not satisfy the compatibility condition for the beam master elements, which are consist of the elements with higher order polynomial shape function, in sliding contact problem. In this study, it is suggested to use more finer beam master element mesh as the remedy for incompatibility in sliding contact problem, and the accuracy of the solution is secured. For this, the effect of beam element mesh refinement consisting runway is analysed through simple examples, and the applicability to the dynamic interaction analysis is evaluated. Finally, the dynamic interaction analysis of railway skewed culvert transition problem is carried out to evaluate the effect of supporting stiffness due to backfill pattern changes and track irregularity due to uneven subgrade settlement.

  • Composite slab with deckplate needs sufficient bond strength between deckplate and concrete to conduct composite behavior Composite slab can transfer the shear by either chemical adhesion interface interlock, or active friction. There are several way of mechanical shear connection in composite slab. that is embossments shear connector shape of deckplate etc. Effect of mechanical interaction is deped on shape of deckplate which is to prevent peeling between deckplate and concrete and an amount of shear connector. The behavior and strength of the connection between the decking and the concrete slab due to embossments and end anchorage may be estimated using the push-off tests described in this paper We proposed the equation of shear bond strength in the composite slab It will be use to design by basic data in composite slab.

  • The structural analysis such as rigid frame analysis has been used for the design of cut and cover tunnel due to its simplicity and convenience. This analysis, however, could not account for the geometrical factors such as interface elements, slope of excavation plane, distance between lining and excavation plane, etc. To develop the analysis technique and design technology for the cut and cover tunnel, in this study, the numerical analyses considering not only geometrical but geotechnical factors are conducted. Especially, the effects on the mechanical behaviors of cut and cover tunnel due to the slope of excavation plane and the distance between lining and excavation plane are mainly focused in this study.

  • 이 연구에서는 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 깊은 보의 비선형해석을 위한 전산플랫폼을 개발하였다. 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 깊은 보의 전단거동을 정확하게 파악하고 합리적이면서 경제적인 설계기준의 개발을 위한 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 재료적 비선형성에 대해서는 균열콘크리트에 대한 인장, 압축, 전단모델과 콘크리트 속에 있는 철근모델을 조합하여 고려하였다. 사용된 부착 또는 비부착 텐던요소는 유한요소법에 근거하며 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 부재의 콘크리트와 텐던의 상호작용을 구현할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 깊은 보의 전단거동을 파악하기 위해 제안한 해석기법을 신뢰성 있는 연구자의 실험 결과와 비교하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

Seismic Anslysis of Rotating Machine-Foundation System (회전기계-기초의 상호작용을 고려한 지진해석)

  • The seismic behaviour of rotating machine-foundation systems subjected to six-component nonstationary earthquake ground accelerations is analyzed. The rotating machine-foundation system is idealized by using discs, rotating shaft, fluid-film journal bearings, pedestals, and space frame foundation. Thus, governing equations of motion for the rotating machine-foundation system are obtained by considering Gyroscopic effect, Coriolis effect, dynamic characteristics of fluid-film journal bearings, and translational and rotational motions of seismic rigid base. The influences due to Gyroscopic effects, Coriolis effects, and rotational motions of seismic base on the overall structural response are demonstrated by a numerical example. The results show that the inclusion of base rotations and Gyroscopic effects contributes significantly to the system response.

  • 경간사이에 creep-coupler가 설치된 경부 고속철도 교량에 TGV-K 열차의 제동에 의한 교량의 종방향 동적거동을 해석하였다. 교량은 40m 길이의 2경간 연속교이며, 종방향 충격 하중을 인접 경간 혹은 교대로 전달하기 위한 목적으로 인접하고 있는 두 교량 사이의 creep-coupler가 설치되었다. 철도교의 경우에는 레일에 대한 종방향 축력검토가 매우 중요하므로, 이를 지지하고 있는 교량의 하부구조(교각과 기초)의영 향을 고려한 교량의 동적거동해석이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 TGV-K의 실제 제동하중에 의한 KHSR(Korea high speed railway)에 건설중인 실제교량의 동해석을 하부구조와 동특성치를 고려하여 수행하였다. TGV-K는 객차사이에 대차가 위치하므로 전체 열차의 모델링이 한꺼번에 이루어 져야한다. 동핵석을 위해서 열차의 3차원 수치모델링이 이루어졌다. TGV-K의 제동은 동력차의 전기적인 제동에 의한 회생제동력(regenerative braking force)과 객착의 기계적인 판제동(disk braking)으로 이루어진다. 이러한 제동작용의 고려에 실제 TGV-K의 제동함수가 사용되었다.

Train-Structure Dynamic Interaction Analysis of The Bridge Transition Considering Track Irregularity (궤도틀림을 고려한 교대접속부의 열차상호동적거동해석)

  • In this study, track dynamic interaction characteristics caused by the vehicle running through transitional section such as bridge abutments were studied using the finite element analysis program. The geometric condition of track was generated by trigonometric function and allowable maximum track irregularity is determined by KORAIL track maintenance criteria. The sub-infrastructure under rail fastener system was modelled by 3D solid elements. To reduce computational cost only half track line is numerically considered and the roller boundary condition was applied to each side of model. In this study, the vehicle-track dynamic interaction analysis was carried out for standard Korean transition section of concrete track and the dynamic behaviors were investigated. The dynamic characteristics considered are wheel load variation, vertical acceleration at body, and maximum Mises stress at each part of transitional section.

The Effects of Braking of Trains and Roughness of Rails on the Dynamic Behaviors of Bridges (열차의 제동 및 궤도의 조도가 교량의 동적 거동에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of braking of trains and roughness of rails on the dynamic behavior of bridges are studied. The train-bridge interaction is considered by solving Lagrange's equation of motions. Newmark's direct integration is used to solve the governing equations. Dynamic train loads acting on piers at each time step are evaluated, and the wheel-rail roughness effect is considered by using the PSD curve of the rail. The model of braking forces in bridge section is based on the change of deceleration mentioned in ASTM(American Society for Testing and Materials) E503-82. Only skidding frictions without considering rolling frictions are modeled, and the friction coefficient of 0.25 is assumed. Parametric studies in a simply supported PC Box girder bridge are carried out to verify the present method and to analyze the effects of train speed, wheel-rail roughness, braking forces on dynamic train loads.

Development of a Quasi-Three Dimensional Train/Track/Bridge Interaction Analysis Program for Evaluating Dynamic Characteristics of High Speed Railway Bridges (고속철도 교량의 동특성 해석을 위한 준3차원 차량/궤도/교량 상호작용 해석기법의 개발)

  • Railway bridges are subject to dynamic loads generated by the interaction between moving vehicles and the bridge structures. These dynamic loads result in response fluctuations in bridge members. To investigate the real dynamic behavior of the bridge, therefore, a number of analytical and experimental Investigations should be carried out. In this paper, a train/track/bridge interaction analysis program for evaluating the dynamic characteristics of bridges due to KTX operation in terms of structural safety, operational safety and passenger comfort is developed. To build a practical model of train/track/bridge, Hertzian spring for wheel/rail contact modeling and Winkler element for ballast are applied. This program also used torsional degree of freedom and constraint equation based on geometrical relationship in order to take into consideration three-dimensional eccentricity effect due to the operation on double track through quasi-three dimensional analysis. To verify the developed Program, comparison has been made between the measured results and those of simulation of the typical PSC box bridge(2@40m=80m) of the KHSR bridges.

System Identification Analysis on Soil-Structure Interaction Using Field Data (현장자료를 사용한 지반-구조물 상호작용에 대한 경험적 연구)

  • In the field of earthquake engineering, recent improvements in many areas, such as seismological source modeling, analysis of travel path effects, and characterization of local site effects on strong shaking, have led to significant advances in both code-based and more advanced procedures for evaluating earthquake ground motions. A missing link, however, is empirically verified design procedures fur assessing the effects of soil-structure interaction (SSI). Available Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) analysis techniques range from simple substructure-type procedures to relatively sophisticated finite element procedures. The most common substructure approach for foundation-soil interaction is to use a frequency-dependent and complex-valued impedance function. This study uniquely evaluates impedance functions for two well-instrumented sites w significant inertial SSI effects using a system Identification technique. The system identification analysis results are then compared to predictions from a simple theoretical model to gain insight into the inertial interaction effect in the subject sites.
