Effects of Interrelationship between Ownership Structure and Capital Structure on Corporate Diversification (소유구조와 자본구조의 상호관계가 기업다각화에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구에서는 우리나라 234개 상장기업을 대상으로 기업의 소유구조와 자본구조의 상호관계가 기업다각화에 미치는 영향을 2단계 최소자승법(2SLS)을 이용하여 분석하였다. 우리나라 기업의 소유구조와 자본구조의 상호관계를 분석한 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 1996년부터 1999년까지의 전기간 분석에서 우리나라 기업은 소유구조와 자본구조 정책을 서로 연계하여 결정하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 IMF 경제위기 전후기간으로 구분하여 상호영향관계를 분석한 결과에 의하면 IMF 이전기간에는 소유구조와 자본구조가 상호의존적인 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났지만, IMF 이후기간에는 소유구조와 자본구조의 상호영향관계를 발견할 수 없었다. 둘째, 내부자는 부채사용에 따른 재무위험의 부담을 줄이기 위해 레버리지 비율이 높으면 내부지분율을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 내부지분율이 높으면 내부자는 자신이 부담해야 하는 재무위험을 줄이기 위해 레버리지 비율을 낮추는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편, 소유구조와 자본구조의 상호관계가 기업다각화에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과에 의하면, 소유구조와 자본구조의 상호관계가 기업다각화 수준에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Non-linear Relationship between Asymmetric Interdependence and Conflict (불균형적 상호의존성과 갈등간 비선형적 관계에 대한 연구)

  • As interdependence and conflict are important to the understanding of channel interactions, many researchers have studied their relationship. Identifying the relationship between interdependence and conflict will help understanding an exchange relationship. In social science, the relationship between interdependence and conflict is explained by two contradictory theories, and there are also inconsistent results in marketing science. The authors suggest non-linear relations between asymmetric interdependence and conflict, based on bilateral deterrence theory and conflict spiral theory. Using survey data from industrial market, we demonstrate that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between asymmetric interdependence and interfirm conflict. The result show, as the magnitude of interdependence is high. the hypothesis on the non-linear relationship between asymmetric interdependence and conflicts is acceptable on both suppliers and distributors. Finally, we discuss several theoretical implications and suggest limitations and future research issues.

The Relationship between Insider Ownership and Financial Policy (기업소유구조와 재무정책의 상호관련성에 관한 연구 - 자본구조, 투자 및 배당을 중심으로 -)

  • In the literature, much research has been focused on the relationships between financial policies and corporate valuation, including the effects that internal equity and capital structure have on corporate value, as well as how capital structures, investments and dividends relate to one another. However, comprehensive studies considering three facets of financial policies, namely capital structures, investments, and internal equity altogether, are scant. This study follows 361 companies listed on the Korean Stock Exchange, excluding financial institutions, from 1996 to 2002. Using 3SLS methods, an empirical analysis was conducted of the relationships among capital structures, investments, dividends, and internal equity and the results are summarized. Capital structures were found to be negatively related with investments, while investments were mainly related to dividends. Dividends were positively related with internal equity, simultaneously affecting capital structures. We were not able to find any clear evidence of a direct relationship between internal equity and capital structures; however they seemed to be indirectly related. Thus, there seems to be mutual relationships between financial policies and internal equity.

금융시스템과 기업시스템간의 관계에 관한 제도론적 연구

  • 자본주의 경제체제에 있어서 금융시스템과 기업시스템은 경제시스템의 핵심을 구성하는 것으로서 경제의 효율성을 좌우한다. 중요한 것은 이 두 시스템은 국가의 경제적 기능과 함께 상호관련적으로 형성되고 전개되어 나간다는 점이다. 최근 세계 경제메카니즘의 변화에 따라 이들을 어떻게 재편성할 것인가 하는 것이 주요 관심대상으로 제기되어 왔다. 본고는 국가-금융-기업 시스템간의 시스템적 상호관련성에 유의하면서 거시적인 신제도 학파적 시각에서 그 관계의 틀을 고찰, 그 유형을 분류하여 보고 특히 금융시스템과 기업시스템간의 상호관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 제도론적 시각에서 볼 때 이 문제는 제도적 환경과 제도적 장치간의 체계적 관계를 규명하는 것으로서 궁극적으로 경제행위의 지배조정 메카니즘을 시장, 위계(조직), 네트워크 중 어느 방식에 중점을 둘 것인가와 관련된다. 구체적으로 볼 때 금융시스템에 있어서의 자본시장중심적 체계와 은행중심적 체계, 기업과 시장의 범위와 기업의 네트워크적 전개, 금융과 기업간 규율시스템에 있어서의 관계 둥은 모두 이러한 시각에서 일관적으로 파악될 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 이들의 상호관계를 유형화시켜보고 그 논리를 우리의 현실에 적용시켜 볼 때 국가의 기능조정을 바탕으로 시장규율하에서의 네트워크적 관계를 모색하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 생각된다.

  • As mentioned on the paper, this study does not tackle the issue of contention about different media mix. It rather analyzes the capability and intensity of new media created through the correlation of different media, and researches the intermediality relationship among media to create new type of fine quality media. Along with the development of digital technology, the intermediality relationship among painting, video media such as movie and animation has become active. Also, as the study examined, the mix of 'painting and movie', 'movie, animation, game' has blurred the boundary, and formed a mutual inevitable relationship. Thus, this study examined the transfer of media and correlation based on intermediality relationship insisted by Rajewski and Deleuze's theory. Deleuze's theory explains the relationship of being which analyzed the variation of media. As for the intermediality relationship of media, the study examined process of media combining and converting based on 3 types of category of Rajewski, "media combination, media conversion, intermedial relationship matching".

The Relationships between The Quality of Teacher-Child Relationship, Teacher-Child Interactions, and Child Temperament (교사-유아관계의 질과 교사-유아 상호작용 및 유아의 기질과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relations between the quality of teacher-child relationship, child temperament, and teacher-child interaction. The subjects were 51 3-4 years old children who were attending a preschool in Seoul and their mothers. The mothers of the young children rated child temperament and the head teachers of the children evaluated the quality of teacher-child relationship. The frequency of teacher-child interactions in the classroom was collected through observation during self-selected activities in the classrooms. Observational data included frequency of teacher-initiated interactions and number of child-initiated interactions. The results showed that boys were more likely to have conflictual relationships with teachers and girls were likely to have close relationships with teachers. And lower levels of effortful control were associated with teacher-child conflict. More child-initiated interactions were related to the conflict relationships with teachers. Results suggest that child characteristics and teacher-child interactions contribute to children's relationships with teachers.

The Effects of Conflict Management Strategies and Communication Competence on Relational Outcomes (갈등관리전략과 커뮤니케이션 능력이 상호관계에 미치는 영향)

  • The major goal of this study is to examine the relation between conflict management strategies and communication competences and the relation between communication competences and relational outcomes of actors in conflict communication situations. Some of the major findings are as follows; 1. The integrate strategy has some positive correlation with communication competences. But escape strategy has some negative correlations with them. It means that the actors who have integrate strategy seems to be evaluated their communication competences highly and the others who have escape strategy seems to be evaluated them lowly. 2. The communication competences have some positive correlations with the relational outcomes such as variables of intimacy, trust and relational satisfaction after conflict. This means the actors evaluate others' communication competences highly intend to have more intimacy, trust and relational satisfaction after conflicts. 3. The communication competence intermediate the conflict management strategy and relational outcomes after conflict. It means that relational outcomes after conflict depend on partners' recognitions of actors communication competence. In sort the present study demonstrates that it is important to improve communication competences in order to get some productive output in conflict interpersonal communication situation.

Effects of Preschoolers' Temperament and Relationships with Teachers on their Peer Interaction (기질과 교사와의 관계가 또래상호작용에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how children's temperament and relationships with teachers affect their peer interaction. For this purpose, two surveys were conducted on mothers and teachers of 326 four- and five-year-old children attending four kindergartens in Gyeonggi Province. The data were analyzed by using PASW 18.0 to carry out hierarchical regression and post hocanalyses. The results showed that closeness to teachers moderated the effects of children's emotionality on their positive peer interaction. On the other hand, children's temperaments including emotionality and activity, and their relationship with teachers were directly influential on their negative peer interaction; no interaction effect was found between their temperament and relationships with teachers. It was concluded that the quality of teacher-child relationships could promote children's positive peer interaction while it could also reduce their negative interaction with peers. However, the temperament of children played limited roles in their negative peer interaction.

Verification of Temporal Relations on SMIL 2.0 Document using an Extended Temporal Interval Model (확장된 시간 구간 모델을 이용한 SMIL2.0 문서의 시간관계 검증)

  • This paper suggests a method for verification of temporal relations on SMIL 2.0 document using an extended temporal interval model. The SMIL 2.0 document has more asynchronous temporal relations and supports more interactive relations between objects than traditional SMIL document. But it is higher to produce temporal inconsistency by various interactive relations between objects. So the suggested verification method expresses SMIL 2.0 document as functional relations based on an extended temporal interval model and verifies SMIL 2.0 document using interactive relations and temporal intervals between objects. Applications to the verification method are as follows; multiuser interactive contents, online-learning, etc.

An Analysis of Structural Relationships on the Stimulated Home Environment, Mother-child Interaction, and Interactive Peer Play of Preschool Children (가정환경자극 및 모-자 상호작용과 유아의 상호작용적 또래놀이 간의 관계구조분석)

  • This study investigated the relationships of preschool children's interactive peer play, stimulated home environment, and mother-child interaction. A total of 255 children were selected in this study. Data were analyzed with Pearson correlations and covariance structural analysis by using SPSS and AMOS, a statistical program for structural equation modeling. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, interactive peer play was associated with stimulated home environment and mother-child interaction. Second, the results confirmed the pathway from stimulated home environment via mother-child interaction to interactive peer play showing a significantly good model fit. The paths from stimulated home environment to children's interactive peer play were mediated by mother-child interaction.
