Improvement for Facility Location Problem of Perishable Commodities (부패상품 임시물류센터에 대한 위치 문제 개선)

  • This paper suggests simple algorithm of facility location problem in perishable commodities that satisfy with minimum total transportation cost and within the transportation time constraint $L^*$. For this problem, Lee[4] suggests very complex algorithm that decides candidate facility locations, computes total transportation cost for each candidate facility location, then moving the location to optimal location for top two facilities. On the other hand, this paper simply determines the candidate facility locations within $L^*$ using subtree concept, and decides optimal minimal total transportation cost for top two locations in centralized area of required quantity using neighborhood concept.

The Relationships between the Ability of Students' Raising Creative Problems and Academic Achievement, Science Inquiry Skills and Creative Personality of High School Students (고등학생들의 독창적인 문제발견 능력과 학업 성취도, 과학 탐구능력, 창의적 성격과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the ability of students' raising creative problems and academic achievement, science inquiry skills and creative personality of high school students. In order to evaluate the originality of problems, the present study used three methods: evaluation by frequency, teacher, and student. The results in this study turned out to be as follows: First, there was not much difference in the three methods. But familiar problems had the possibility of receiving higher marks. Second, the ability of students' raising creative problems was significantly correlated with academic achievement and creative personality, but there was no correlation with science inquiry skills. The subjects were divided into 2 groups by students' originality score. In the higher score group, the ability of students' raising creative problems was significantly correlated with creative personality, but in the lower score group, it was significantly correlated with academic achievement. Third, as for science inquiry skills and creative personality between two groups, there was no significant difference, whereas as for academic achievement(physics I, chemistry I), there was significant difference.

An Analysis of Representation Usage Ability and Characteristics in Solving Math Problems According to Students' Academic Achievement (수학 문제 해결에서 학업성취도에 따른 표상 활용 능력과 특징 분석)

  • In this paper, the ability to use mathematical representations in solving math problem was analyzed according to student assessment levels using 113 first-year high school students, and the characteristics of their representation usage according to student assessment levels were also examined. For this purpose, problems were presented that could be solved using various mathematical representations, and the students were asked to solve them using a maximum of three different methods. Also, based on the comparative analysis results of a paper evaluation, six students were selected and interviewed, and the reasons for their representation usage differences were analyzed according to their student assessment levels. The results of the analysis show that over 50% of high ranking students used two or more representations in all questions to solve problems, but with middle ranking students, there were deviations depending on the difficulty of the questions. Low ranking students failed to use representation in diverse ways when solving problems. As for characteristics of symbol usage, high ranking students preferred using formulas and used mathematical representations efficiently while solving problems. In contrast, middle and low ranking students mostly used tables or pictures. Even when using the same representations, high ranking students' representations were expressed in a more structurally refined manner than those by middle and low ranking students.

How the Science Gifted Connect and Integrate Science Concepts in the Process of Problem Finding (과학영재들이 문제발견 과정에서 나타내는 과학개념 연결방식과 융합적 사고의 특징)

  • The study aimed to investigate how the science gifted connect and integrate science concepts in the process of problem finding. Research subject was sampled from 228 applicants for a science gifted education center affiliated with a university in 2015. A creative problem solving test (CPST) in science, which administered as an admission process, was utilized as a reference to sample two groups. Sixty-seven students from top 30% in test scores were selected for the upper group and 64 students from bottom 30% in test scores were selected for the lower group. The CPST, which was developed by researchers, included one item about how to connect two science concepts among eight science concepts, sound, electricity, weight, temperature, respiration, photosynthesis, weather, and earthquake extracted from elementary science curriculum. As results, there were differences in choosing two concepts among four science major areas. The ways of connecting science concepts were characterized by three categories, relation-based, similarity-based, and dissimilarity-based. In addition, relation-based was characterized by attributes, means, influences, predictions, and causes; similarity-based was by attributes, objects, scientific principles, and phenomena, and dissimilarity-based was by parallel, resource, and deletion. There were significant (p<.000) differences in ways of connecting science concepts between the upper and the lower groups. The upper group students preferred connecting science concepts of inter-science subjects while the lower group students preferred connecting science concepts of intra-science subject. The upper group students showed a tendency to connect the science concepts based on similarity. In contrast, the lower group students frequently showed ways of connecting the science concepts based on dissimilarity. In particular, they simply parallelled science concepts.

A Design of Dynamic Question Generation System using a Voluntary Extraction and Division Methodbased on WordNet (워드넷 기반의 임의 추출 분할 방식을 이용한 동적 문제 출제 시스템 설계)

  • 문제 은행 방식을 사용하는 웹 기반 학습 시스템의 문제점으로 지적되었던 문제 유출에 따른 평가의 공정성 문제를 해결하고자 임의 추출 분할 방식을 이용한 동적 문제 출제 시스템이 제안되었다. 하지만 이 시스템 또한 문제 은행 방식을 사용하여 위의 문제를 해결하려고 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 단어간의 관계를 계층적으로 표현한 어휘 데이터베이스인 한국어 워드넷을 활용한 방법을 적용하였다 먼저 임의 추출 분할 방식으로 출제된 문제의 예제 문항을 형태소 분석기를 이용하여 명사들을 추출한다. 이 명사들을 이용하여 한국어 워드넷에서 해당 면사의 상위 개념 또는 동일 개념의 Synset을 추출한다. 이렇게 추출된 Synset으로 다른 예시 문항이지만 의미적으로 유사한 다양한 예제 문항을 생성하려는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템의 사용으로 평가의 공정성 문제를 해결하고자 한다.

Creative Problem Solving Styles, Conflict Management Types and Team Performance in the Cooperative Learning of Engineering College Students (공대생들의 협동학습에서 창의적 문제해결스타일 및 갈등관리 유형과 팀 수행)

  • This study was conducted to compare the creative problem solving styles and conflict management types between engineering college students with high and low team performance records. Most students with high team performance records preferredDeveloper style(76.7%) and Task-oriented style(65.1%), whereas most students with low team performance records preferred Explorer style(72.2%) and Person-oriented style(86.1%). Results of the comparison of conflict management types revealed that most students with high team performance records belonged to a competitive logic type(22.8%) and an accommodative compromise type(17.7%), while most students with low team performance records belonged to an accommodative compromise type(20.3%) and a permissive resignation type(12.7%). It would be useful to provide the engineering students with the specialized program to complement their problem solving styles and conflict management types.

  • TCP 프로토콜과 ATM 프로토콜과의 형태 및 제어방식의 차이로 인한 이질성 문제 때문에 ATM 층에서 한 개의 셀 손실은 상위 TCP층에서 하나의 패킷 손실을 초래하게 되어 망에 대한 충분한 QoS를 제공하지 못한다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 처리율면에서 Early Packet Discard(EPD)와 공정성면에서 Selective Packet Discard(SPD), Fair Buffer Allocation (FBA) 등이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 ATM상에서 TCP 성능성향을 위해 기존의 알고리즘과 제안한 알고리즘에 대하여 비교분석하고 , VC의 수를 가변적으로 변화시켜도 제안한 알고리즘은 SPD나 FBA보다 나은 공정성을 보였고, 처리율면에서는 차이가 없음을 시뮬레이션결과를 통해 나타내었다.

  • 현대의 Deep-Submicron Technology(DSM)에선 배선에 관련된 문제, 예를 들어 crosstalk이나 노이즈 등이 큰 문제가 된다. 그리하여, 배선은 논리 구성요소들보다 더욱 중요한 위치를 차지하게 되었다. 우리는 이러한 배선을 고려하여 연산식을 최적화하기 위해 carry-save-adder(CSA)를 이용한 모듈 함성 알고리즘을 제시한다. 즉, 상위 단계에서 생성 된 규칙적인 배선 토폴로지를 유지하며 CSA간의 배선을 좀더 향상시키는 최적의 알고리즘을 제안한다. 우리는 우리의 이러한 방법으로 생성된 지연시간이 [1]에 가깝거나 거의 근접하는 것을 많은 testcase에서 보이며(배선을 포함하지 않은 상태에서), 그리고 그와 동시에 최종 배선의 길이가 짧고 규칙적인 구조를 갖는것을 보인다.

  • 본 논문에서는 네트워크와 라우터, 방화벽 등 유무선 네트워크를 구성하는 하부노드들의 보안관리를 위한 에이전트을 설계하였다. 또한 제시하는 에이전트는 에이전트 상위에서 정책 언어를 이용하여 다양한 하부 노드로 구성되는 네트워크에 대하여 동적인 관리에 대안 확장성을 지원하며, 해당 하부 노드를 관리하는 에이전트를 구성하여 정책 적용에 있어 효율을 증가시키고, P2P 기술을 적용하여 하부 노드에 문제 발생시 인접한 하부 노드들의 에이전트들 간에 문제를 해결하고 미연에 방지할 수 있도록 한다.

  • 네트워크의 보안문제는 트래픽의 증가요인의 하나로 작용한다. 본 논문에서 키 분배와 인증 문제를 해결하면서 트래픽을 증가를 억제할 수 있는 키 관리 시스템을 제안하였다. 인터넷의 도메인 방식을 이용한 제안된 키 관리 시스템은, 기존의 키 관리 시스템인 중앙 집중형 키 관리 및 분산형 키 관리 시스템의 문제점을 개선할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 이들 시스템과 혼용하여 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 키의 인증기관은 각각의 도메인에 존재하는 키 분배 센터 내에 분산시켜 상위 도메인으로부터 인증을 받게 되므로 인증 수준을 다중으로 할 수 있으며 단일화 된 인증기관의 위험을 해결할 수 있다.
