  • In many cases, trauma is overcome in a short periodtime, but for some, trauma results in long-term mental health issues such as in the form of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Natural disasters cause different types and extent of damage, meaning the degree of stress experienced also varies. In the case of damage to a house, the impact can be considerable. Therefore, this study examined the trauma experienced by households whose homes were damaged by natural disasters and to confirm the characteristics of psychological trauma. It was confirmed that traumas was greater when a house was damaged, compared with damage to other types of items. In addition, even in the case of trauma occurring, factors that affect the pattern of change to someone's mental state vary depending on the state's classification. And In addition, health services is significantly analyzed in all variables, and it was considered that the provision of basic services related to safety after a disaster is paramount. However, while psychological counseling has a positive effect on short-term traumas that manifests as anxiety and depression, it has an adverse effect on PTSD because of the depth and complexity of the suffering in PTSD, meaning the type of psychological support needs changing.

  • The present study analyzed the KOCCA's Game Immersion data to explore the relationship between psychological traits and game immersion. Psychological traits were classified into four categories; emotional stability, self-esteem, willpower, and happiness. These were put into the multiple regression analysis as the dependent variables with age, sex (dummy), economic status of the homes, variety of leisure activities, friend and family relationship, and time to play games. Four types of immersion (psychological unstability, bad relationship, interrupted daily lives, and failure to control game time and desire) were put into the multiple regression analysis as the independent variables. The multiple regression analysis indicated that the dependent variables predicted the game immersion. Among the psychological traits emotional stability was the strongest factor (negative) that influences the game immersion. Next powerful indicator (negative) among the psychological traits was self-esteem. Based on the findings, measures to alleviate the problems of game immersion and ideas for further research were suggested.

  • This research is about local impacts of concentrated social disadvantage in a specific urban district, and is discussing these issues by focusing on previous research from Western countries. Further, by analyzing the results of a field survey conducted in this district, I am clarifying the reality of socially disadvantaged areas and the needs of their residents, while seeking results supporting a theory of inclusive area revitalization. With this survey I could verify that the aging of local residents and the concentration of low-income population is increasing, and in this district an unbalanced community mix is becoming apparent. Currently, insecurities concerning economic and health aspects are the most serious issues. In response to the residents' needs counseling on housing issues and social services, that become necessary with advancing age, like health services or housing support, are increasingly required. Since today laws for antidiscrimination (namely, Dowa) measures are outdated it is necessary to establish a community based approach or a neighborhood based governance model, in addition to the existing public support, as response to these local challenges and needs.

  • Cloud computing technology will provide application that needs many resources and various services to customers without any restriction of time and place. So, many of companies are now adopting cloud computing technology to this business and this trend is now increasing. However, cloud technology adoption rate is low because of security, compatibility, loss of control, security, data protection, performance and uptime, to the risk of vendor lock-in Cloud computing services, and compatibility with existing systems and anxiety. Now, many people are interest on the migration of existing systems but there are many study on this issue. So, more of study on this issue should be needed. This paper will show you the method that how to adopt cloud computing to their business and also show you evolution of cloud computing for existing system.

  • This study was carried out to determine the effect of base carriers such as zeolite or vermiculite on change of concentration of polyoxyethylene laury ether[$C_{12}H_{25}O(C_{2}H_{4}O)_{3}H$, PLE] and on initial wetting of peat-vermiculite medium in the development of a soil wetting agent using the mixture of PLE and polyoxyethylene+polyppro-pyleneoxide tridecylether (1:1, w/w, CM-1). The concentration of PLE in the treatment of vermiculite was higher than that of zeolite during the period from 2 to 6 weeks. The cumulative concentration of PLE released in the treatment of vermiculite was about $2800mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ and zeolite was about $2300mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$. The treatments of PLE+CM-1 with zeolite or vermiculite as a carrier were effective in initial water retention of root media having more than 510 mL of water per pot, where as those of $AquaGro^{G}$ and control had 490 mL and 400 mL of water per pot, respectively. In the evaporative water loss, the treatment of zeolite and $AquaGro^{G}$ were faster than that of control and vermiculite. The control treatment had the fastest water movement in and the highest volume of water infiltrating into root medium among all treatments. Increased application rate of PLE+CM-1 did not increase water retention capacity. The treatment of $0.6g{\cdot}L^{-1}$ had the highest evaporative water loss and that of $0.3g{\cdot}L^{-1}$ had the highest amount of water infiltrating into root media among all other treatments.

The data were collected during April to June, 2003. The results indicate that 94.5% of Koreans view the existing political system and politicians as being corrupt, inept, factional, and lacking in integrity. A vast majority (84.9%) recognize the existence of systemic problems in the Korean economy. A total of 78.2% see problems in Korean society being dominated by selfishness, factionalism, conservatism, and social uncertainty. More than half of the respondents report negative aspects of Korean people (i.e., selfish, lack of morality, rushed, and overly focused on their social image), while nearly half of the respondents report positive aspects of Korean people as being compassionate, cooperative, good-natured and hard-working. As for reason for trusting Korean society, around a third report "because it is our country," followed by its future potential, and the good-nature and willingness of Korean people to work hard. The reasons for distrusting Korean society is the dishonesty politicians, corruption, institutional ineptness, and economic uncertainty. These results indicate a low level of collective efficacy in influencing and affecting change in Korean society.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of dental caries, periodontal status, and self-perceived oral health status of students in juvenile protection education institutions. The subjects of this study were 342 adolescents aged 13-20 years detained in two juvenile protection education institutions located in Gyeonggi Province. The study involved an oral examination to record decayed, missing, filled teeth and index teeth with bleeding, calculus, or periodontal pocket, combined with a questionnaire to investigate self-perceived oral health status. The main findings are as follows. 1. When compared with the result of National oral health survey, the students detained had more decayed teeth, DMFT, and teeth with bleeding, calculus, and shallow pocket than general population of the same age. 2. Female students showed more DMFT, more teeth with healthy periodontium, and fewer teeth with shallow pocket than male students (p<0.05). 3. Female students perceived their health to be poorer than male students (p<0.05). A majority(79.2%) of detainee valued their oral health in their life. 4. • When people feel powerless (with losing control), they show compensatory behaviors to get out of this state. The actions to compensate for powerlessness have been studied in the contexts of products or brands, but this study focuses on compensatory behaviors when using social media. Social media, which can express consumers' selves freely, has become a platform for self-expansion. It has been confirmed that the possibility of relieving psychological powerlessness through self-expression on social media exists. Therefore, we examined how people who felt powerless showed compensatory behaviors on social media. According to the analysis, consumer's powerlessness does not directly affect narcissistic self-expression on social media. However, it is derived as being fully mediated by the feeling of anxiety. The more anxious consumers feel, the more narcissistic they express themselves by posting photos of themselves with luxury brand objects that can show social power or authority. In other words, when consumers experience social powerlessness coupled with anxiety, they are likely to show compensatory consumption behaviors such as narcissistic self-expression in order to make their images cool and luxurious and draw others' attention on social media. We confirm that the compensatory consumption due to consumers' powerlessness, which leads to having anxiety, can appear in ways of presenting narcissistic selves on social media.
