The compensation algorithm for localization using the least-squires method in NLOS(Non Line of Sight) environment is suggested and the performance of the algorithm is analyzed in this paper. In order to improve the localization correction rate of the moving node, 1) the distance value of the moving node that is moving as an constant speed is measured by SDS-TWR(Symmetric Double-Sided Two-Way Ranging); 2) the location of the moving node is measured using the triangulation scheme; 3) the location of the moving node measured in 2) is compensated using the least-squares method. By the experiments in NLOS environment, it is confirmed that the average localization error rates are measured to ${\pm}1m$, ${\pm}0.2m$ and ${\pm}0.1m$ by the triangulation scheme, the Kalman filter and the least-squires method respectively. As a result, we can see that the localization error rate of the suggested algorithm is higher than that of the triangulation as average 86.0% and the Kalman filter as average 16.0% respectively.

The method of estimating a position using a GPS has been applied to various fields including a navigation system of an automobile. However, since it is difficult to measure GPS signals indoors, it is difficult to locate specific objects indoors such as a building or factory. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a system for object location estimation based on Bluetooth5 for the management of materials in factories. The object position estimation system consists of a Bluetooth signal generator, a receiver, and a database server. A signal generator based on Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) is attached to the material and a receiver is appropriately arranged inside the factory. In this study, we propose "Diagonal Survey Method", a 4 - axis survey algorithm using four receivers to reduce the error of existing trilateration method. The proposed algorithm showed good performance compared to the conventional trilateration and we verified the effectiveness of the proposed system and algorithm by performing the experiment by installing the system in the factory.

In this paper, location recognition algorithm is developed to improve the accuracy using improve Trilateration. The location recognition algorithm is first calculate the location refer to the measured signal power. Error can be occurred when measure distance with arranged node in specific location. If the distance data is received from node (receiver, coordinator), Node selected for location calculation is defined through section. If the distance data is received from node (receiver, coordinator), Node selected for location calculation is defined through section. Second, we apply algorithm of section filtering. If there are 4 sections in node, we consider 1 section to 6 location recognition coordinates. A special characteristic drawback of RF is that the actual distance is actually farther than the calculated received distance data. This is error is incurred when the signal strength increases. We reduce the location recognition error by applying an improved algorithm as secondary after filtering primary through section filtering.

The localization compensation algorithm for moving objects using the least-squares method is suggested and the performance of the algorithm is analyzed in this paper. The suggested compensation algorithm measures the distance values of the mobile object moving as a constant speed by the TMVS (TWR Minimum Value Selection) method, estimates the location of the mobile node by the trilateration scheme based on the values, and the estimated location is compensated using the least-squares method. By experiments, it is confirmed that the localization performance of the suggested compensation algorithm is largely improved to 58.84% and 40.28% compared with the conventional trilateration method in the scenario 1 and 2, respectively.

Trilateration technique using time of arrival(TOA) is generally used for single target position estimation in radar system. However, trilateration technique has limitation in case of multiple targets, since it is difficult to distinguish the measurements corresponding to the respective targets. In this study, to eliminate ambiguity of relation between measurements and targets, micromotion of each target is measured by micro Doppler which is actively studied in radar industry nowadays and these information are used to distinguish measurements used at trilateration technique. Resultingly, the trilateration technique is applied successfully for each target. The targets are considered as multiple submissiles separated from the missile. Simulation results shows the performance of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, we propose an indoor visible light communication(VLC) localization using Walsh code which can identify overlapped signals transmitted from the different LED sources as each of orthogonal signal at a receiver and using Manchester code which can eliminate the flicker of LED light and maintain a constant brightness. The proposed system can estimate the relative position of the receiver by using Lambertian radiation properties and trilateration method that are applied to the location information of fixed LED sources and the received signals from them. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed system, we carried out the simulation in an indoor space with $6{\times}6{\times}1.5m^3$ installed LED lamps of 16. The simulation result shows that the proposed method achieves an average positioning error of 0.0536 m and a maximum positioning error of 0.2977 m.

This paper proposes a method of estimating the optimal position of a robot in order to provide a service by approaching a user located outside the sensing area of the robot in an indoor environment. First, in order to estimate the user's location, the location in the indoor environment was estimated by applying a trilateral approach to the beacon-tag module data, and Voronoi thinning to set the optimal movement goal from the user's estimated location. Based on the generated nodes, the final location was estimated through the calculation of the user location, obstacle, and movement path, and the location accuracy of the service robot was verified through the movement of the destination of the actual robot platform.
The location measurement technique of moving worker in dangerous areas, is necessary for safety in the mines, basements, warehouses, etc. There are various measurement techniques about moving node of position in a restricted environment. Trigonometric Method, one of measurement techniques, is commonly used because of its easiness. However, errors occur frequently when measuring distance and position due to radio interference and physical disability with measuring instruments. This paper proposed a method which is more accurate and shows reduced margin of error than existing trigonometric method by recalculating distance between Anchor and moving node with various measuring instruments. By adding Anchor when calculating distance and position of moving node's estimated point, suggested technique obtains at least 41% efficiency compared to existing method.
