MAP 대응 FA 시스템에의 Expert 시스템의 활용에 대하여

  • 작업물(Work)을 기계에 장입출, 가공에 필요한 공구류의 공급 등이 완전 자동화 된 기존의 사출성형기 Series를 제조하는 FA Systme은, MAP 대응의 FA System 으로 개량되었다. 이 논문은, MAP 대응 새 FA 시스템의 MAP에서 분산.통괄의 역할을 하도록 개발된 Cell controller의 정보관리기능 가운데 하나의 응용으로서 제조공정을 자동적으로 Scheduling 하는데 Expert 시스템(전문가시스템)을 적용한 idea를 소개하는 것이다. 이 idea의 적용 으로 인하여 제조공정의 scheduling 작염은 종래의 주단위로 부터 일일단위의 작업으로 처리가 가능해졌고, 또, 공구수명관리기능의 부가로 무인운전시의 기계의 가공율도 종래보다도 녹일 수가 있었다.

Structural Analysis of Injection Molding Machine Components (사출성형기의 주요 구조부품 해석)

  • Mold platen are one of the most important structural components of the injection molding machine. Mold platen had been designed, and manufactured based on the experience and the method of trial and error. Recently, as the computer progress, the numerical simulation method using commercial finite element analysis code has been used to analyze the characteristics of components. It's a urgent problem to reduce the weight of mold platen while preserving the safety and reliability for the structual failure. Finite element analyses to establish basic design technologies and reducing the weight of mold platen were carried out. As result, we are obtained the about 10% reducing the weight for mold platen.

Design of Runner System and Prediction of Moving Distance of the Screw for the Improvement of Formability of a Housing Part of Small-Size Air Cleaner (소형 공기청정기 하우징의 성형성 향상을 위한 런너시스템 설계 및 스크류 전진 거리 예측)

  • The runner system of the injection mould and the injection volume of the injection molding process greatly affect the quality of the produced part. The goal of this paper is the design of the runner system and the prediction of the injection volume for the injection moulding of a housing part of small-size air cleaner to improve the formability through the three-dimensional injection moulding analysis. The effects of the runner system of the mould on the injection moulding characteristics are investigated. From the results of the investigation, a proper design of the runner system with uniform filling characteristics and the minimized defect formation is obtained. In addition, the influence of the moving distance of the screw on filling characteristics, weldline formation and deformation characteristics is examined. From the results of the examination, an appropriate moving distance of the screw for the housing part of small-size air cleaner is estimated.

Characteristics of Nylon 6/Poly(acrylonitrile-co-styrene-co-acrylic rubber) Blends Containing Compatibilizer (상용화제가 포함된 나일론 6/Poly(acrylonitrile-co-styrene-co-acrylic rubber) 블렌드의 특성)

  • To overcome drawbacks of the nylon 6/poly (acrylonitrile-co-butadiene-co-styrene) (ABS) blend, nylon 6 blend with poly (acrylonitrile - co-styrene - co-acrylic rubber) (ASA) which containing poly (butyl acrylate) as a rubber phase in substitute of poly (butadiene) in ABS, was examined. Poly (styrene-co-maleic anhydride) (SMA) containing 25 wt% of maleic anhydride (MA) or poly (styrene- co-acrylo-nitrile-co-maleic anhydride) (SANMA) containing less than 3 wt% MA was used as a compatibilizer to fabricate blends having high impact strength. Changes in the mechanical properties of nylon 6/ASA blend with compatibilizer content were similar with those of nylon 6/ABS blend. Blends haying high impact strength was produced when blends contained more than about 20 wt% rubber. Blends containing SAM or SANMA as a compatibilizer were stayed in a injection molding machine at the molding temperature and afterwards specimens for the examination of the impact strength was prepared. Impact strength of blends containing SMA was decreased with retention time, while that of blends containing SANMA was not changed with retention time.

  • We acquired data of injection molding machine in operation and stored the data in database. We acquired the data of injection molding machine for fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) continuously and estimated the fault results with a fuzzy algorithm. Many of FDD are applied to a huge system, nuclear power plant and a computer numerical control(CNC) machine for processing machinery. But, the research of FDD is rare in injection molding machine compare with computer numerical control machine. We appraise the accuracy of the FDD and the limit of the application to the injection molding machine. We construct the fault detection and diagnosis system based on fuzzy algorithm in the injection molding machine. Data of operating injection molding machine are acquired in order to improve the reliability of detection and diagnosis.

The Energy Saving and the Reproducibility of Highly-Efficient Injection Molding Machine (고효율 사출성형기의 에너지 절감 및 성형 재현성 연구)

  • Because of steep rise of international energy cost in recent years, high efficiency has been emphasized in energy policy. As far as injection molding machine is concerned, hybrid method using hydraulic and electric systems became the key to this energy saving. The energy saving and molding reproducibility of hybrid injection molding process were shown experimentally. The power consumption of hybrid injection molding machine is reduced to 38% as compared with that of hydraulic machine. Furthermore, the molding reproducibility was shown for both methods.

  • 폴리머 애자용 shed 재료의 전기방전에 대한 열화내성과 표면이 오염된 조건하에서도 우수한 발수성 유지는 제품의 장기성능에 있어서 가장 중요한 인자들이다. 내트래킹성 확보를 위한 보강재로는 ATH가 주로 사용되고 있으며 ATH의 첨가량이 많을 수록 내트래킹성은 대체로 향상되는 것으로 되어 있다. 그러나 애자 제조시 무결점 성형성의 만족이 대단히 중요하기 때문에 ATH를 고충진하는 경우 사용하는 process oil들의 종류 및 첨가량을 고려한 ATH 첨가량의 최적화는 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ATH를 170 part로 다량으로 첨가하면서 화학적 구조와 점도가 다른 몇 가지 실리콘 fliud들을 사용하여 무결점 성형에 적합한 가소도를 갖는 컴파운드를 제조하여 기본물성과 초고압 옥외절연물의 shed 재료로서 장기성능에 영향을 주는 방전열화내성과 표면발수성의 회복특성을 평가하였다. 컴파운드의 성형작업성과 관련이 큰 가소도는 fluid 점도에 따라 상당한 차이를 보이므로 실리콘 fluid 종류의 선택과 첨가량의 최적화에는 성형작업성, 발수성 회복특성, 열화내성 등의 고려가 필요하다. 무결점 애자성형을 위한 진공 사출에서 고무 컴파운드의 가소도가 중요한데 동일한 ATH첨가조건에서 일정한 가소도를 갖게 하는데 필요한 양은 fluid들의 종류에 따라서 상당한 차이가 있었다. 코로나 처리후 발수성 회복특성은 fluid들의 분자크기와 반응기의 종류에 따라 상당히 영향을 받았으며 분자가 클수록 초기회복속도는 다소 느렸지만 평상시에 늘 유지되는 상시발수성은 다소 높게 유지되었다. 아크와 트래킹 방전에 의한 무게 감소는 ATH가 과량으로 첨가되어 상당히 적었으며 fluid의 분자가 크면서 페닐기를 가진 fluid들이 첨가된 고무가 우수한 특성을 보였다.

A study on the properties of the carbon long-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material using LFT-D method (LFT-D공법을 이용한 탄소 장섬유 강화 열가소성 복합재의 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials have been widely used in various industrial fields, but there are limits to increasing their strength and stiffness, because of the short-length fibers that are impregnated in them. In this study, a lab-scale small extruder system was developed with the capability to perform the carbon fiber impregnation and extrusion process in order to evaluate the properties of long-length carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite materials molded by the LFT-D method. Specimens were made with the small extruder to press-mold long-length carbon fiber composite materials and evaluate their material properties. As a result, it was found that the carbon fiber length, press load and carbon fiber contents have a considerable influence on the strength and stiffness. Additional studies on such factors as the mixing screw design and coating of the carbon fiber are needed in order to improve the mechanical properties of carbon fiber composite materials.
