The University Students' Perceptions or Attitudes on the Use of AWE Program in English Writing (영어쓰기에서 AWE 프로그램 활용에 대한 대학생의 인식 및 태도 연구)

  • The purpose of the study is to explore the perceptions or attitudes about utilizing the AWE(Automated Writing Evaluation), Grammarly in English writing. A total of 131 students who are in first grade and in beginner level participate in the study. As a research tool of the study, pre and post-surveys, pre and post-tests, and learning journals were collected and analyzed. The study was conducted for 15 weeks in the 2nd semester of 2019. According to the results, the findings are as follows. First, the students in the study had difficulty with English grammar and found it useful to get English feedback in English writing. Next, the students showed positive attitudes toward the use of Grammarly. It was helpful for English learning and assignment performance and showed high usefulness. Finally, Grammarly's effect showed a statistically significant result between the pre and post-tests. Based on the results some suggestions are as follows. First, let the students take some time with the program to use to operate. Second, teachers have to make the students understand that AWE's feedback is not always correct. Lastly, it should be provided with teachers' feedback.

Effect of Peer Counseling Program on Classmate Relationships of Children (또래상담 프로그램이 아동의 교우관계에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to examine how peer counseling program affects on peer relation of children. The study subjects who fourth grades of A elementary school students in K city of Cheonbuk region, children of 26(boys 14, girls 12) people who expressed their joining opinion of program, were selected through information. 28(boys 15, girls 13) people were selected as control group. Before conducting program, both experiment group and control group were identified as same group. From in April, 2014 to in June 2014, peer counseling was conducted by experiment group(once per week, 60 minutes per session for a total 10 sessions), to examine effect, peer relation questionnaire were practiced before and after. Following were gained results of SPSS 18.0 used to analysis data of comparison in group before and after. peer relation of experiment group who conducted peer counseling had improved. Peer Counseling was effective for improving of Children's peer relation. However, there was no difference in compare of control group before and after. Therefore, this study can know that peer counseling had positive effect on peer relation of children.

The Effects of Motivation Improvement Program for Underachieved Students (학습부진 대학생을 위한 학습동기 향상 프로그램의 효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to validate the effectiveness of academic motivation improvement program for underachieved students. Participants in the program consisted of 14 sophomores and senior. They were randomly assigned to either the experimental group(n=7) or the control group(n=7). To analysis the effectivness, matched pair t-test and independent t-test. The programs offered 6times. The results are follows. First, for the experimental group that took part in motivation improvement program, there was a increase in self-esteem. But the improvement was not significant. Second, for the experimental group that took part in motivation improvement program, there was a significant decrease in academic amotivation. Third, the experimental group showed a more significant decrease in academic amotivation. Finally, the significance and limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were presented.

Study on the Persistence of Therapy Program Effectiveness in Foster care : Focusing on K-CBCL (복지시설 아동의 심리치료 프로그램 효과의 지속성 연구:아동 행동평가 척도를 중심으로)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to confirm whether the effectiveness of the program is sustainable 9 months after project completion for the children and adolescents participating in a childcare and rehabilitation support project. Methods : This study was carried out in three phases: pre-(2016.5~6), post-(2016.10~12) and follow-up evaluation phases (2017.9) of 120 children and adolescents who participated in a treatment and rehabilitation of children project in 2016. The analysis was conducted using a repeated mesures ANOVA to identify changes in problem behaviors. Results : The problem behavior of preschoolers in middle and high schools decreased after the post-evaluation compared to the pre-evaluation, and the effect of treatment was maintained afterward. Elementary school students displayed fewer problem behaviors after the post-evaluation than in the pre-evaluation, and follow-up more. Conclusions : This study confirms that the effects of therapy are maintained for a long period of time. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that therapeutic intervention is effective for children and adolescents in foster care.

Effects of the Teaching and Learning Programs for Science Teachers' Scientific Hypothesis Testing-method Invention (과학교사를 위한 가설검증방법 고안 교수-학습 프로그램의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the teaching and learning programs for science teachers' scientific hypothesis testing-method invention. Subjects were 30 secondary school science teachers. The potato juice task was administered to the subjects before and after instructional treatments. The four-step strategy including the steps of identifying factors, identifying variables, selecting variables and inventing methods, was applied to the development of the teaching and learning programs for the science teachers. The programs were developed by 6 experts through the R&D method. The results of this study revealed that the number and elaborateness of science teachers' scientific hypothesis testing-methods increased after the instructional treatments. The testing ability of testing-methods invented by science teachers in the posttest was stronger than the one of the methods invented in the pretest. This study also discussed the implications of these findings for teaching and learning in science education.

  • 인터넷 접속서비스에 대해서는 사전적 규제를 하지 않는 것이 세계적인 추세였으나, 최근 유럽에서는 인터넷 접속서비스에 대해서 사전적 규제를 가할 수 있는 지침이 채택되었다. EU가 2003년 7월에 채택한 「2003년 프레임워크」는 종래의 수직 통합형 산업구조가 인터넷 기술발전에 따라 물리적인 네트워크, 전송서비스, 콘텐츠로 정보통신산업이 층별로 세분화되어 가고 있다는 사실을 반영한 새로운 규제체계로 평가할 수 있다. 이 규제체계의 방향성은 경쟁이 미진한 분야에는 사전적 규제, 경쟁이 활성화된 분야에는 사후적 규제를 가하는 것이다. 본 고의 목적은 일본의 인터넷 접속서비스에 관한 시장 및 규제 동향을 소개하는 것이다. 여기에서는 먼저 일본의 인터넷 접속서비스 사업자의 현황을 개관한 후, 인터넷 접속서비스에 대한 정부차원에서의 규제동향을 고찰한다. 일본에서는 인터넷 접속서비스에 대하여 사전적 규제를 하지 않고 있다는 점을 감안하여 일본의 대표적 ISP 사업자라 할 수 있는 JPIX와 NTT 동서를 대상으로 인터넷 접속서비스의 사업현황과 이들 기업에 접속하기 위한 접속조건 등을 살펴본다. 맺음말에서는 현재 일본에서 이루어지고 있는 인터넷 접속서비스에 대한 규제동향을 우리나라와의 비교 관점에서 고찰하고 우리나라에의 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

A Meta-analysis of Influencing Mediator Athletics on Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome Factors : Utilizing Big Data Analysis (대사증후군과 비만 위험요인에 관한 메타분석 : 빅 데이터 분석을 활용하여)

  • A meta-analysis is a statistical integration method that delivers an opportunity to overview the entire result of integrating and analyzing many quantitative research results. This study will find meaningful mediator variables for criterion variables that affect between pre and post in metabolic syndrome studies, on the basis of the results of a meta-analysis. We reviewed a total of 36 studies related metabolic syndrome published in Korean journals between 2000 and 2015, where a cause and effect relationship is established between variables that are specified in the conceptual model of this study. In this meta-analysis, the path between pre and post in waist circumference showed the biggest effect size (r = .420). The second biggest effect size (r = -.402) was found the path between pre and post in high density lipoprotein cholesterol. By the way, one the smallest effect size (r = .234) was obtained the path between pre and post in diastolic blood pressure. Thus, we present the theoretical and practical implications of these results and discuss the differences between these results through a comparative analysis with previous studies.

  • As the society is being developed, the desire about life quality is also growing. Even though the process of waterproof work has very close relation with these life quality, we always focus on management after problem than the precaution of problem. So this process has the highest rate of mengel. We develop LCC analysis model considering the precaution and try to show the necessity of the precaution by comparing and analyzing every alternative proposal during LCC. By studying of the previous work and the result of questionnaire, we deduce the problem of waterproof work in construction area. By discussion with an expert in this process and research, we make solutions about precaution and set the cost items in every alternative proposal about these solutions. We understand the effect of each elements through sensitive analysis of the cost items, and find the economically best suited solution.

Testing the Effectiveness of Multicultural Education Program (다문화교육 프로그램의 효과성 검증)

  • This study was developed to evaluate the effectiveness of a multicultural education program for college students. To this end, the program was designed to offer them a series of twenty lectures for three months, 60 hours in total, and a quasi-experimental design was employed to evaluate the difference between pre-test and post-test scores of participants of both experimental group(N=45, Mdiff=.378) and control group(N=47, Mdiff=.036) on their attitudes on cultural diversity. Also, pre-test and follow-up test scores were compared to confirm whether the effect was sustained. The results showed that while the pre-post difference was statistically significant for experimental group participants(t=4.264, p=.000), the difference was not significant for control group students. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the program was sustained among students in the experimental group at a 3-month follow-up test(t=2.466, p=.016). In conclusion, the multicultural education program, in fact, proved to be effective in changing the attitudes of college students in understanding and accepting different cultures in Korean society.
