  • Hearing impaired person's hearing loss has personally various shape, so existing symmetrical auditory filter of frequency band method wasn't properly simulated the hearing impaired person's various hearing loss shape. The shapes of auditory filter are asymmetrical different with each center frequency and each input level. Hearing impaired person which has hearing loss was differently changed with that of normal hearing people and it has different value for speech of quality through auditory filter. In this study, the asymmetrical auditory filter was simulated and then some tests to estimate the filter's performance objectively were performed. The experiment as simulated auditory filter's performance evaluation method used perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ) and log likelihood ratio (LLR) for speech through auditory filter. In the test, processed speech was evaluated objective speech quality and distortion using PESQ and LLR value. When hearing loss processed, PESQ and LLR value have big difference between symmetrical and asymmetrical auditory filter. It means that the difference of the shape auditory filter may affect to speech quality. Especially, when hearing loss existed, auditory filter changing according to asymmetrical shape for each center frequency affected to perceive speech quality of the hearing impaired.

  • Companies are recently emphasizing social capital that is formed by the network and trust among organization members to secure continuous competitive edge. Social capital induces the members' adaptation and immersion through the interactions with multidimensional factors within an organization, and contributes to increasing an organization's performance by causing cooperative behaviors as a passage of communications and participation. This study analyzed the influence of social capital and organizational support recognition formed in an organization on the turnover intention, and examined the moderating effect of organizational support recognition in the relationship between social capital and turnover intention. To achieve the purpose, this research conducted a survey on small and medium sized manufacturing companies in Busan and Gyeongnam and performed an empirical analysis using hierarchical regression analysis. According to the empirical analysis, the structural and relational dimensions of social capital had a negative (-) influence on the turnover intention. Especially, the relational dimension had a huge influence on the turnover intention, showing that it is important to form trust among an organization's members through their interactions. Second, organizational support recognition also had a negative (-) influence on the turnover intention, demonstrating that attention and complete support at an organizational dimension were needed for individual members. Third, organizational support recognition appeared to mediate the relationship between social capital and the turnover intention. The higher the organizational support recognition was, the lower the negative (-) influence of the relational dimension of social capital on the turnover intention was. Based on these results, this paper discussed the theoretical and practical implications of this research as well as future assignments.

  • As Internet, and hardware technology are in rapid process, using rate and penetration rate of Internet of Things are increasing. Internet of Things is the physical objects with network which embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network. Smart Home-kit to operate refrigerators, washing machines, light bulbs, and such internet of things by a smartphone has been realized. However, it is difficult to use a good quality of software based on IoT. It is because that the study related to quality evaluation of software based on IoT is deficient compared with increase amount of IoT devices. Software based on IoT includes mobility, transportability, real time accessibility and hardware characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to have differentiated quality standards and quality model. Software quality evaluation model for IoT is proposed to satisfy these needs. Evaluation model is mapped by characteristics of IoT software based on ISO/IEC 25000's quality characteristics. Scenario based studies were applied to quality model for verification.

  • A single crystla of zeolite $Na_{78}Rb_{28}-X$ (approximate composition) was prepared by exposing $Na_{92}-X$ at $350^{\circ}C$ to 0.1 Torr of rubidium vapor, and its structure was determined by single-crystal x-ray diffraction methods in the cubic space group, Fd3, ${\alpha}=25.045(4){\AA}$. The structure was refined to the final error indices $R_1=0.082$ and $R_2=0.084$ with 353 for which I>$3{\sigma}(I)$. Only about 28 of the 92 $Na^+$ ions per unit cell were reduced and only about 14 of the 28 $Na^0$ atoms produced were retained within the zeolite. A $Na_5{^{4+}}$ cluster is present within each sodalite cavity. It is a centered tetrahedron (like $CH_4$) with bond $length=2.80(2){\AA}$ and angle tetrahedral by symmetry, and shows the full symmetry of its site. $T_d$, at the center of the sodalite cavity. Each of the four terminal atoms of the $Na_5{^{4+}}$ cluster bond to three framework oxygens at $2.36(2){\AA}$. At the centers of some double 6-rings are sodium atoms which bridge linearly between $Na_5{^{4+}}$ clusters to form agglomerations such as short zig-zag chains $Na_5{^{4+}}$ clusters. Delocalized electrons, located primarily on the sodiums at centers of the sodalite and (likely) double-six-ring cavities, contribute to the stability of the clusters.

  • Our study aimed at quantitative assessment of a cleft palate nose deformity condition by analyzing the following parameters gathered from a photographic image of a cleft palate patient: (1) angle difference between two nostril axes, (2) center of the nostril and distance between two centers, (3) overlapped area of two nostrils, and (4) the overlapped area ratio of the two nostrils. A regression equation of doctor's grades was obtained using the eight parameters. Three plastic surgeons gave us the glades for the each photographic image by to increments with maximum grade of 100. The average reproducibility of the grades given by the three plastic surgeons and the three laymen using the developed program was $10.8{\pm}4.6%\;and\;7.4{\pm}1.8%$, respectively. Kappa values representing the degree of consensus of the plastic surgeons and the three laymen were 0.43 and 0.83, respectively. Correlation coefficient of the grades evaluated by the surgeons and obtained by the regression equation was 0.642 and that of the grades by the surgeons and by the neural network was 0.798. In conclusion, the developed neural network model provided us better reproducibility, much better consensus, and better correlation than doctor's subjective evaluation in addition to objectiveness and easy application.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore relationships among the structural elements of Science Classroom as Community of Practice (SCaCoP). For this, we investigated the case of small-group activities in practical work of elementary school science in a qualitative way based on the five structural elements of SCaCoP, such as responsibility for learning, common interest, open participation, mutual relationship, and practice. We observed and interviewed five small-groups during five lessons with video- and audio- recording to collect data. The results of analysis are as follows. First, 'mutual relationship' was a necessary-condition for 'open participation.' We also found that 'common interest' has two dimensions related to their interest and related to learning topic. The former interacted with 'open participation,' and the latter was influenced by 'responsibility for learning. Lastly, 'practice' enhanced the features of other elements with dynamic relationships. Based on these results, we suggested the relationships among the structural elements of SCaCoP and discussed implications related to the perspective that regards learning as participation.

  • Wind energy is widely recognized as one of the cheapest forms of clean and renewable energy. In fact, in several countries, wind energy has achieved cost parity with fossil fuel-based sources of electricity generation for new electricity generation plants. Offshore wind energy development promises to be a significant domestic renewable energy source for the target of korea government 3020 plan. A pivotal activity during the development phase of a wind project is wind resource assessment. Several approaches can be categorized as three basic scales or stages of wind resource assessment: preliminary area identification, area wind resource evaluation, and micrositing. This study is to estimate the wind power capacity of chonnam province offshore area using three basic stages based on the six meteorological mast data. WindPRO was used, one of a well-known wind energy prediction programs and based on more than 25 years of experiences in development of software tools for wind energy project development. The design results of offshore wind power generation capacity is calculated as total 2.52GW with six wind farms in chonnam offshore area.
