An Analysis of Perceptions and Information Use for Library: by Comparing the Differences for the Adolescents and College Students (도서관에 대한 인식과 정보 이용 분석 연구 - 청소년과 대학생의 차이를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to look at overall adolescents' and college students' perceptions of library and explore the sources and their related variables as well as find out related issues of perceptions of library and information use of them. The data for this study were collected through survey and analyzed descriptive statistics and correlation analysis using the data. The result shows the population users preferred search engine so much over library as their information search tool even if they trust library information sources more, also, they tend to seek information sources when it has easiness and fastness to get. Correlation analysis such as ${\chi}^2$ and Spearman were implemented and the result of the correlation shows that many factors of this study covered-such as comparison of information sources-have significant differences each other.

The GMSK Modulation for Bipolar Delta Signal (바이폴라 델타 신호에 대한 GMSK 변조)

  • In the basic GMSK, the modulated signals are generated by the preprocessing of NRZ pulse trains with the gaussian low pass filter. In this paper, we proposed the GMSK modulation system with the delta pulse trains. The proposed system constructed with the gaussian pulse generator triggered by the bipolar delta pulse, the differentiator between $+T_b/2$ and $-T_b/2$, and then a matched filter for frequency-modulation function. The spectrum of proposed system was found to be smaller than about 35[%] at 40[dB] attenuated bandwidth, and the center spectrum to be lower than the basic GMSK with zero-crossing property.

  • An analysis method of slot-coupled microstripline to waveguide transition is presented to developed a simple but accurate equivalent circuit model. The equivalent circuit consists of an ideal transformer, microstrip open stub, and admittance elements looking into a waveguide and a half space of feed side from a slot center. The related circuit element values are calculated by applying the reciprocity theorem, the Fourier transform and series representation, the complex power concept, and the spectral-domain immittance approach. The computed scattering parameters are compared with the measured, and good agreement validates the simplicity and accuracy of the proposed equivalent circuit model.

  • This paper presents a novel HTS microstrip pseudo-lumped element resonator for the compact and simple filter design. A 7-pole bandpass filter with quasi-elliptic response is designed and fabricated using non-adjacent couplings between resonators. A seven-pole quasi-elliptic filter is fabricated using double sided YBCO on a LaAlO$_3$ substrate with thickness of 0.5 mm and dielectric constant of 23.5. The filter has an insertion loss of 0.8 dB at 20K, a bandwidth of 8 MHz at the center frequency of 1774 MHz, and an attenuation of 33 dB for the cut-off-band of 1 MHz.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the factors effecting users' satisfaction on game AI for early AI diffusion. For this purpose, we interviewed 20 users who had experiences playing Blade&Soul, made by NCsoft. Interview data had been analyzed through the Semantic Network Analysis program to identify key subject words and their relations. As a result, the paper has found keywords such as patterns, contents, variety, system, and getting new users as factors effecting users satisfaction on game AI.

  • In the environment where AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicles) operate concurrently in limited space, collisions. deadlocks, and livelocks which have negative effect on the productivity of AGVs occure more frequently. The accelerated motion of an AGV is also the factor that make the AGV routing more difficult because the accelerated motion makes it difficult to estimate the vehicle's exact travel time. In this study, we propose methods of avoiding collisions, deadlocks, and livelocks using OAR(Occupancy Area Reservation) table, and selecting best route by estimating the travel time of an AGV in accelerated motion. A time-driven simulation validated the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

  • This study investigates the differences in the recognition of the brand factors of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) between the internal and external public. This study considers KIGAM's brand strategy among the various institutions contributing to the country's development. Through the analysis, this study provides strategic implications about science-related institutions as well as KIGAM. According to the results of the brand factors in various dimensions, differences in the recognition between the internal and external public were found to be evident. The results reveal that the internal public shows more positive attitude than the external public on the variables that affect KIGAM's branding strategies.

최적궤도를 이용한 SAR 위성 검보정 일정 수립

  • 영상레이더 위성으로부터 획득된 SAR 영상의 상대적/절대적 방사(radiometric) 정밀도를 만족시키기 위해서는 궤도상에서 검보정을 수행하여야 한다. 일반적으로 상대 방사 정밀도의 보정을 위해서는 아마존 일대와 같이 일정한 지표 반사도를 지니는 넓은 지역을 촬영함으로써, 지상에서 모델링된 안테나 패턴의 이상 유무를 검증한다. 절대 방사 정밀도를 결정하기 위해서는 보정계수(calibration constant)를 구해야 하는데, 이를 위해서 RCS(radar cross section) 값이 기 알려져 있는 지상의 CR(corner reflector)를 관측해야 한다. 대부분의 SAR 위성의 경우, 각 입사각별로 여러 개의 빔(beam)이 독립적으로 운용되고, 위성의 경로가 각 pass 사이 거의 일정한 간격을 가지기 때문에, 지상의 CR들에 대한 빔의 접근성이 상당히 제약을 많이 받게 된다. 즉, 개별 빔이 촬영할 수 있는 CR의 개수 및 동일 CR에 대한 촬영 빈번도가 많이 작을 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 특히, CR이 빔폭의 중심에서 관측되어야 하는 요구사항이 추가로 반영될 경우 그 빈도수는 더욱더 영향을 받게된다. 이 연구에서는 고도 550 km, 28일의 지상반복주기(repeat ground track)를 가지는 여명 궤도(dawn-dusk orbit)를 가정하고, 각 빔별로 그 빔에 할당된 하나의 CR만을 촬영해야 된다는 조건하에, 빔 접근성의 요구사항을 최대로 만족시킬 수 있는 CR의 좌표들을 구하였다. 동시에, J2항만을 고려한 이상적 28일 지상반복궤도를 적용한 경우와 모든 중력섭동항을 적용한 최적궤도를 적용한 경우를 비교하여, 실질적 검보정 일정을 수립하였다.

Euclidean Distance of Biased Error Probability for Communication in Non-Gaussian Noise (비-가우시안 잡음하의 통신을 위한 바이어스된 오차 분포의 유클리드 거리)

  • In this paper, the Euclidean distance between the probability density functions (PDFs) for biased errors and a Dirac-delta function located at zero on the error axis is proposed as a new performance criterion for adaptive systems in non-Gaussian noise environments. Also, based on the proposed performance criterion, a supervised adaptive algorithm is derived and applied to adaptive equalization in the shallow-water communication channel distorted by severe multipath fading, impulsive and DC-bias noise. The simulation results compared with the performance of the existing MEDE algorithm show that the proposed algorithm yields over 5 dB of MSE enhancement and the capability of relocating the mean of the error PDF to zero on the error axis.
