Determinants of Hospital Nurses' Satisfaction on Hospital Information System(HIS): Focused on Perceived HIS Quality, Individual and Organizational Characteristics (간호사의 병원정보시스템(HIS) 만족도 영향요인 -지각된 HIS 품질과 개인 및 조직특성을 중심으로-)

  • The objectives of the study were to explore the effects of personal factors, organizational factors, and system factors on satisfaction on hospital information system among hospital nurses, and to provide suggestions for improving usability of information system and promoting business efficiency and system satisfaction by evaluating hospital information system. The study sample group consisted of 233 nurses from general hospitals. The collected data were analyzed using the Hierarchical Regression. The results suggested that system quality, information quality, and service quality showed positive and significant effects on hospital nurses' satisfaction. The organizational factors and personal factors were not statistically significant controlling for the system factors. This study was significant in that direct relationships between sub-dimensions of hospital information system and organization's performance, measured in nurses' perceived evaluation were empirically explored. Accordingly, the application of hospital information system could provide a direction for establishing a systematic strategy to improve the work performance of hospital nurses.

The Effects of Sensation Information on Perceived Quality and Purchase Intention in Online Shopping Mall: Focus on The Smell Information and The Taste Information (온라인 쇼핑몰의 감각정보 제시가 지각된 품질 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 후각정보와 미각정보를 중심으로)

  • The importance and meaning of smell/taste information on online shopping are studied. The first hypothesis deals with this issue directly. We measure the perceived quality and purchase intention at the context of online shopping with/without smell and taste information. As expected, subjects show higher perceived quality/stronger purchase intention of a bar soap and vitamin C product when smell and taste information are provided. Following Peck and Childers(2003), the moderating effects of Need for Smell and Need for Taste are tested at the second hypothesis. Subjects with High in Need for Smell/Touch show stronger responses in terms of perceived quality and purchase intention. The level of trust about the online shopping mall provides interesting results. When the trust level of the online shopping mall is low, the smell/taste information play more important roles in improving the perceived quality and purchase intention. Subjects at the not-so-trusted shopping mall context result in higher perceived quality and purchase intention if perceptual information is provided. One of the theoretical contributions of this study includes the identification of critical information in online purchase decision making-smell and taste. On top of vision and hearing information, smell and taste information also can play critical roles when consumers do online shopping even at the shopping malls of low trust. In addition, managerial implications are provided.

Understanding Over The Top(OTT) and Continuance Intention to Use OTT: Impacts of OTT Characteristics and Price Fairness (Over The Top(OTT)의 지속이용의도에 대한 이해: OTT 특성과 가격공정성의 영향)

  • Competition in the OTT (Over the Top) service market is getting fiercer since global OTT services enter the domestic market and existing platforms are actively reorganized. As powerful competitors with ultra-luxurious content continue to enter the marke with diversity required by users, various efforts are required for OTT service platforms to prevent subscriber churn in order to generate continuous revenue. Thus, this study tried to examine the effect of OTT service characteristics on continuous use intention through an empirical analysis based on Expectation-Confirmation Model(ECM). A total of 386 responses were collected from individuals who have experience or are currently using OTT service and analyzed using AMOS 24. Results show that content curation, content richness, and audience activity had a significant effect on expectation confirmation. Also, expectation confirmation had a significant effect on perceived usefulness and user satisfaction while perceived usefulness had a significant effect on user satisfaction, significantly influencing continuous intention to use OTT. Finally, price fairness was found to strengthen all proposed relationships. The findings are expected to provide useful information for service and content development for subscriber retention, which has the most direct impact on revenue generation of OTT service providers.

Information Privacy Concerns and Trust in SNS

  • In this paper, we examined the causes of information privacy concerns, trust and related factors in social network services. On the basis of the 'elaboration likelihood model,' we established factors such as information quality, privacy policy, perceived SNS app popularity and optimism bias affecting information privacy concern of SNS users. In addition, we analyzed the relationship between information privacy concern, trust in SNS members, trust in SNS platform and intention to use. Finally, on the basis of the 'trust transfer theory', we analyzed the relationship between trust in SNS members and trust in SNS platform. The results of the study showed that (1) information quality, privacy policy and optimism bias had the significant effects on information privacy concerns, (2) perceived SNS app popularity didn't affect information privacy concerns, (3) information privacy concerns had the significant effects on trust in SNS platforms (4) in accordance with the trust transfer theory, trust in SNS members had the significant effect on trust in SNS platforms, and (5) trust in SNS members had the significant effect on intention to use, while trust in SNS platform didn't have the significant effect on intention to use. The findings of the study are expected to help to improve the SNS firms' understanding towards customers' information privacy protection behaviors and trust.

  • Recently, as internet shopping mall users rapidly, a form of shopping changed from off line to on line. The rapid growth of customers and transaction volume through evolution of new media, internet, brings new problems to internet marketers. It is the most important task that how internet shopping mall operators obtain their customers trust and repeat buying. This empirical research investigates online shoppers for their trust dimensions for online retailers. The study aimed to determine whether e-trust antecedents(perceived reputation, perceived quality, perceived value) influence trust dimension and whether the multidimensional trust contributed differently to perceived risk and willingness to depend on e-retailers. Consequences of the research are as follows: First, it reveals that of reputation, web site quality of the internet shopping mall have influence upon trust dimension. Second, the higher level of trust consumers have, the higher level of willingness to depend and intent to revisit on the retailers they have. But level of perceive risk consumers have not influences on willingness to depend on the retailers. It is necessary for internet shopping mall to development its reputation and familiarity to obtain customer's trust. Accordingly, this research will be helping internet shopping mall insight for marketing strategies, constantly should study about action and mind of consumer.

  • The research was aimed at the hotel industry's employees in order to test the efficiency of e-Learning, which is emerging as the alternative training system to the conventional one. The independent variables are the quality of e-Learning, including the qualities of the system, contents, and service of e-Learning, and the learning characteristic factor, including the quality factor of e-Learning, the self-efficacy of the user, learning motivation, and the flow of learning. Furthermore, the intervening variables are its perceived usefulness and the satisfaction factor of the user known as the so-called utility of e-Learning, continuous intention to use in terms of efficaciousness, and the spread of education and training. The dependent variable is customer orientation, known as the ultimate efficaciousness of corporate e-Learning.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a comprehensive research model that can explain potential customers' intentions to adopt and use VPA(Virtual Personal Assistants) devices. This study proposes and validates a new theoretical model that extends the perceived value theory. Partial least squares analysis is employed to test the research model and corresponding hypotheses on data collected from 313 survey samples. Perceived value, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment are important factors affecting the adoption of VPA devices. To increase potential users' intention to use, VPA device manufacturers should not only focus on developing utilitarian functions but also fun features based on open development echo-system. This study is the important empirical attempt to examine user acceptance of VPA devices, as most of the prior literature has concerned analysis of usage patterns or technical features.

  • Devices that add emotion-specific services or various functions are appearing in AI speakers and related devices. To this end, this study performed topic modeling analysis on the topics of post-purchase texts written by AI speaker users, and compared them with the data collected via survey questionnaires. Furthermore, data on the emotional intelligence of AI speakers and relationship quality were collected from 600 users and analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings of the study are as follows: First, the analysis results of topic modeling showed that most of the articles mainly mention the functional aspects of AI speakers. Second, emotional intelligence of AI speaker perceived by consumer affected relationship quality, and relationship quality had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study expands the area of AI research by integrating the concept of emotional intelligence and relationship quality to provide new theoretical and practical implications.

  • 본 연구는 갤럭시 폰을 선호하는 사용자의 감성경험디자인 요소의 주관적 관점을 밝히는데 초점을 두었으며 주관성 연구를 위해 Q 방법론을 통해 3개의 유형을 발견할 수 있었다. 제 1 유형은 합리적 행동 추구 유형으로 갤럭시 폰에 대한 직 간접 체험을 통해 감성품질에 대한 높은 기대치를 가지고 있으며 휴대성과 사용성을 중요시 하고 외형의 형태와 재질에 관해서는 낮은 선호도를 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 제 2 유형은 계획된 행동 추구 유형으로 주관적인 개인의 지각을 중요시하며 기능, 물리적 느낌 그리고 사용성 모두를 중요하게 생각하고 사용함으로써 얻어지는 즐거움과 효율을 선호하는 유형으로 구분되었다. 제 3 유형은 차별적 개성 추구 유형으로 개인이 소유한 제품을 통해 다른 이에게 전달하고자 하는 메시지를 중요하게 여기며 심미적 요소의 차별을 통한 개성 표출을 중요시하는 유형으로 파악되었다.

Optimized Bicycle-sharing Model for China Market (최적화된 중국시장의 공유자전거 모델제안)

  • Bicycle-sharing as a product service system in the sharing economy, its characteristic is that users can go to nearby places by the public bike at any time however they don't need to have their own bicycle. However, the service quality of bicycle-sharing and satisfaction of users continuously decrease with the rapid growth number of bicycle-sharing users in China. Based on the double diamond model and from the perspective of service design, this research studies the service experience of bicycle-sharing of Chinese users, focuses on the potential pain points of Chinese users when using the public bike, and designs the optimum proposal to promote users' satisfaction. According to the research result, the research builds a new concept which can satisfy users' demand for communication, enjoyment and option during the cycling. The experience of new service system of bicycle-sharing makes humanized and subconscious interaction possible.
