With the rapid development of Social Network Service and with the diversification of user needs, new types of image-based SNS have emerged. Image-based SNS provides customized service to meet users' specified contents needs that have yet to be satisfied in conventional relation-based SNS like Facebook, leading the trend of service diversification. Unlike text-based SNS that has inconvenient view on a small mobile screen, image-based SNS provides the communication way focused on simple text message and image, and thus the main users of the image-based SNS are young people in their 20s who get accustomed to images, rather than text messages. Accordingly, the functions and roles of SNS UI have varied, and usability has been more important. With the users in their 20s who use image-based SNS, this study tried to look into the usability of the image-based SNS. To do that, heuristic evaluation method was applied to find UI problems. The main factors constituting usability were extracted, and user evaluation method was redesigned. Aside from the satisfaction measurement, this study conducted and analyzed a questionnaire survey with users in their 20s who used actual image-based SNS. This study analyzed usability factors that influenced of image-based SNS users. The analysis results are considered to be used as a fundamental material to improve usability in the process of developing social media service.

학술연구정보 서비스는 연구자의 연구 개발 과정에서 필수적으로 활용해야 하는 서비스이다. 그렇지만, 그 중요성에 비해 아직까지 학술연구정보 서비스에 대한 심도 깊은 사용성 평가가 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않다. 본 연구는 OntoFrame이라는 시맨틱 웹 기술 기반 학술연구정보 서비스 구현 과정에서 반복적인 사용성 평가를 수행함으로써 어떻게 서비스가 효용성과 사용성을 갖추어가는 지를 실증함으로써 사용성 평가의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 특히, 사용성 평가 목표에 따라 서비스 시안(Mock-up)을 대상으로 실시한 사용자 인터뷰 중심의 1차 사용성 평가와 서비스 프로토타입을 대상으로 실시한 학술연구 정보 서비스간 비교 평가 중심의 2차 사용성 평가를 상이하게 구성함으로써 사용성 관련 문제를 다양한 관점에서 도출할 수 있었다. 사용성 평가는 매 구현 단계마다 반복적으로 실시함으로써 본 학술연구정보 서비스의 사용성을 지속적으로 향상시킬 계획이다.

The development of internet technology and communication is a great influenced on trends of our society in culture, economy, and policy. The informationized society related internet brought the change into the designer's attitude. Namely, designers who have a concern about internet web knew that the quality of design is more important in the web site to seek the new approach to the design in relation to internet market of an imaginary cyberspace. But we have not a good tool to evaluate the web design in the internet graphic interface especially by visual perception. Now, the major concern for this research is to study the evaluation criteria of the web design interface and offer some solutions to bring the objectivity of the evaluation method model in other to make the base of a new Internet culture in Korea.

디지털 컨버전스가 가속화됨에 따라 휴대폰의 기능은 나날이 복잡해져 가고 있으며, 이러한 경향은 사람들에게 자신에게 불필요한 기능까지 익혀야 하는 불편함을 초래하고 있다, 특히, 단순한 통화방식에 익숙하고 인지적으로 새로운 것을 유연하게 받아들이지 못하는 고령 사용자들에게도 이미 생활필수품이 된 휴대폰은 사용하는데 어렵고 불편한 부분이 많이 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국의 고령사용자들을 대상으로 휴대폰 사용에 있어 문맥적, 정성적 조사(Contextual & Qualitative research)기법을 적용하여 평소 그들이 일상생활에서 느끼는 휴대폰 관련 요구사항을 도출하고자 하였다. 조사는 세 단계로 이루어졌다. 먼저, 휴대폰을 사용 중인 60대 이상 고령사용자 83명을 대상으로 사용 현황 및 수준을 파악하고 적절한 사용자를 섭외하기 위한 설문을 진행하였으며, 둘째, 초보사용자 8명, 중급사용자 3명을 대상으로 휴대폰 사용 기록을 기반으로 하는 심층인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 초보사용자들을 대상으로는 문자메세지, 전화번호부, 카메라 폰 기능 교육 세션을 통한 행동 관찰법을 시행하였다. 마지막으로, 교육 세션 한달 후, 사용성 평가와 추가 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 이상과 같이 장기간에 걸친 사용자 조사를 통해, 고령사용자들의 휴대폰 사용에 있어 심리, 문화적 특이사항과 인터랙션 상의 불편요소들을 발견할 수 있었으며, 수집된 동영상 데이터를 분석하여 고령사용자의 휴대폰 관련 요구사항을 신체적 요인, 인지적요인, 심리적 요인의 세가지로 구분하여 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 문맥적, 정성적 사용자 조사를 통해 고령사용자들의 일상생활에서의 휴대폰 관련 요구사항을 도출함으로써 풍부하고 실증적인 경험데이터를 수집할 수 있었다. 이와 같이 도출된 요구사항 데이터는 이후 고령사용자를 위한 유니버설 디자인 휴대폰 개발 전략수립과 UI 디자인 개발에 활용되었다. 뿐만 아니라, 이 연구는 휴대폰 사용 경험 연구에 적용할 수 있는 문맥적 조사기법 프로세스의 사례를 제시하고 있다는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

Recently, online social networks have become one of the most representative Internet services and are being used increasingly, which allows people to share information and interact with other people. On the other hand, as the use of OSN is increased, there has been an increased incidence where illegally accessed personal information is used wrongfully. Accordingly, privacy has become a key concern by the users. Regarding the construct of information privacy concerns (IPC), this study explored the antecedents of IPC at the individual personal level - risk appraisal and perceived behavioral control - based on Protection Motivation Theory. Hence, the current paper investigated the moderating effect of gender in the relationship between individual characteristics and IPC. The hypothesized research model was examined with 233 questionnaires of OSN users. The results showed that the positive effects of risk appraisal and the negative effects of perceived behavioral control on IPC are supported. In addition, the moderate effects of gender between risk appraisal and IPC is only supported.

현재의 컴퓨터 시스템 안에서는 많은 침입이 일어나고 있으며, 이를 막기 위한 침입탐지시스템의 사용 역시 늘어나고 있는 상황이다. 침입탐지시스템 개발사들은 저마다 자신들의 시스템이 가장 우수하다고 내세우고 있는 반면 사용자의 입장에서는 어떤 침입탐지시스템을 선택해야 하는지에 대해서는 침입탐지시스템 개발사의 일방적인 광고와 선정에 의존할 수 밖에 없는 실정이다. 많은 침입탐지시스템 사이에서 사용자는 좀 더 우수한 시스템을 선택하기를 원할 것이며 개발사 역시 자신의 시스템이 우수하다는 것에 대해 입증하기를 원할 것이다. 이를 위해서는 침입탐지시스템에 대한 객관적인 평가 기준과 이에 대한 평가 방법이 필요하나 아직까지 정형화된 방법론이 없는 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 우리는 이러한 상황을 해결하기 위한 침입탐지시스템 평가 방법론 개발 과정의 첫 번째 단계로 침입탐지시스템 평가 기준을 제시하려고 한다.

온라인 소비자들은 amazon.com과 같은 온라인 상점 플랫폼에 상품 평가(리뷰: review) 글을 남김으로써 대상 상품에 대한 의견을 표현한다. 이러한 상품 리뷰는 다른 소비자들의 구매 결정에도 큰 영향을 끼친다는 관점에서 볼 때, 매우 중요한 정보원이라고 할 수 있다. 사람들이 남긴 의견 정보(opinion)를 자동으로 추출하거나 분석하고자 하는 연구인 감성 분석(sentiment analysis)분야에서 과거에 진행된 대다수의 연구들은 크게는 문서 단위에서 작게는 상품의 요소(aspect) 단위로 사용자들이 남긴 의견이 긍정적 혹은 부정적 감정을 포함하고 있는지 분석하고자 하였다. 이렇게 소비자들이 남긴 의견이 대상 상품 혹은 상품의 요소를 긍정적 혹은 부정적으로 판단했는지 여부를 판단하는 것이 유용한 경우도 있겠으나, 본 연구에서는 소비자들이 '어떤 관점'에서 대상 상품 혹은 상품의 요소를 평가했는지를 자동으로 추출하는 방법에 초점을 두었다. 본 연구에서는 형용사의 대표적인 성질 중 하나가 자신이 수식하는 명사의 속성에 값을 부여하는 것임에 주목하여, 수식된 명사의 속성을 추출하고자 하였고 이를 위해 WordNet을 사용하였다. 제안하는 방법의 효과를 검증하기 위해 3명의 평가자를 활용하여 실험을 하였으며 그 결과는 본 연구 방향이 감성분석에 있어 새로운 가능성을 열기에 충분하다는 것을 보여주었다.

최근의 휴대전화는 음성 통화뿐만 아니라 메시지 및 이메일 송/수신, 사진/동영상 촬영 등 다양한 종류의 작업을 수행할 수 있으며, 그 기능이 점차 확장되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 화면 공간의 제약으로 인한 메뉴 항목명의 축약, 메뉴 항목수의 증가, 메뉴 구조의 복잡화 등의 원인 때문에 많은 사용자들이 메뉴검색에 불편함을 겪고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 기존의 메뉴 네비게이션을 통한 검색 방식, 하위 메뉴항목 제시 방식 이외에, 키워드 검색방식 및 유사 키워드 검색 방식을 개발하고 4가지 메뉴 검색방식의 사용성 평가실험을 수행하였다. 사용성 평가 실험 결과, 수행도 측면에서는 메뉴 검색 방식간의 차이가 유의하지 않았지만, 사용자 만족도 측면에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 존재하였다. 4가지 메뉴 검색 방식 중 유사 키워드 방식은 사용자 만족도 측면에서 가장 선호되는 방식으로써, 추후 실제 휴대전화에 적용될 경우 사용자 만족도를 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study, depending on the diversification of the information environment, was carried out to analyze the role of visual cues and the relationship between visual information structure in the process of user's visual immersion and recognition. Thus, we design evaluation model which used scientific instruments and subjective evaluation taking into account the latest graphical user trends, and analyze the data of immersion and recognition of the user experience that acquired through the process more systematic experimental procedure. Based on this, in the future, this study will be able to contribute implement the latest broadly applicable to the device of graphical information user basic design model and a standard evaluation model.

This paper presents the information retrieval system which can retrieve the most appropriate answer sentence for user queries by using the concept and the attribute for the knowledge retrieval. The system analyzes the user query into the Boolean queries with the concept and the attribute and then retrieve the relevant documents in the indexing set of answer documents. Users can retrieve the relevant answer sentences from the relevant documents. For this, the answer documents indexed by the concept and the attribute are segmented by each sentence respectively. Thus, the segmented sentences are analyzed into the concept and the attribute of which the relevance degree with indexing units of documents is evaluated. Then, the system indexes the location of answer sentences. In the experiment, we evaluate the performance of our answer retrieval system against 100 user queries and show the experimental results.
