UCC Sharing Motives and their effects of UCC Sharing Intention

  • 인터넷 사용자들의 증가와 여러 기기들의 발달에 따라 인터넷 사용자들은 새로운 형태의 커뮤니케이션을 스스로 발전시킬 수 있었고, 이러한 흐름이 최근 UCC의 폭발적인 증가로 이어졌다. 하지만 최근까지 사용자들이 왜 자신이 스스로 노력을 들여서 UCC를 공유하는 지에 대한 명확한 설명은 부재한 상황이다. UCC공유동기는 기존에 지속적으로 연구되어 왔던 가상커뮤니티나 온라인구전활동의 참여동기를 상당부분 가지고 있으나 이들로 설명할 수 없는 새로운 참여동기를 포함하고 있는 것으로 보여진다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 UCC 공유 동기를 파악하기 위해 UCC 공유 경험이 있는 사람들을 대상으로 설문을 수행하였고, 요인분석을 통해 UCC공유동기가 '자가 창조의 즐거움', '커뮤니티에 대한 책임감', '자아표현 욕구', '타인과의 교제', '보상'의 동기로 요인화될 수 있음을 밝혀냈다. 그리고 이들 동기가 UCC 공유 의도에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 알아보았다. UCC공유의도를 양적인 측면과 질적인 측면으로 나누어, 앞에서 요인화 된 5가지 UCC동기가 각각에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 UCC를 공유하는 사용자들을 좀 더 이해할 수 있을 것이고, UCC를 비즈니스모델로 하는 온라인기업들에게 UCC참여 및 양질의 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 가이드를 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 인터넷 전자 상거래 시스템에서 주로 일어나는 정보 검색은 사용자의 상품정보 요구라고 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 사용자가 원하는 상품 정보를 웹 환경에서 검색하기 위해서는 편리한 검색 환경의 제공뿐만 아니라, 검색 성능의 효율성 또한 우수해야 한다. 인터넷 인구와 온라인 쇼핑몰의 급격한 증가로 인해 다양한 조건 검색에 의한 상품검색 요구가 증대되고 있다. 또한, 이러한 상품의 검색 결과는 사용자의 의도와 의미상으로 밀접한 관계를 가져야 한다. 자연언어 정보검색은 이러한 요구의 중요한 대안으로 대두되고 있으나, 자연언어 자체가 가지는 애매한 의미의 해석 등으로 인하여 상용 시스템에 적용하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 퍼지추론을 이용한다. 입력된 자연언어 질의에서 형태소 분석을 통하여 데이터베이스 질의에 사용될 수 있는 의미어(content word)를 추출한 후, 의미어들을 재구성하여 템플릿을 작성한다. 작성된 템플릿은 퍼지 추론을 통하여 의미의 애매성을 해소하고 데이터베이스 질의로 변환하여 사용자의 질의 의도와 부합되는 검색 결과를 제시한다.

Factors Affecting the Intention to Use of Alibaba Mobile Payment Service: A Case of Chinese Users (Alibaba 모바일 결제 서비스 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 중국 사례)

  • In this paper we investigate the factors influencing the intention-to-use of Alibaba mobile payment in China. Our research model includes the mobile payment service factors ('instant connectivity', 'security', and 'use convenience'), the user's individual factors ('preferential' and 'individual characteristics'), 'satisfaction', and 'intention to use'. We surveys the current and potential mobile payment service users in China and analyzes with Structural Equation Model. The results show that all the mobile payment service factors give positive effects to 'satisfaction'. The 'individual characteristics', one of the user's individual factors, also gives positive effects to 'satisfaction', however, 'preferential' does not give positive effects. In addition, 'satisfaction' is found to give positive effects to 'intention to use'.

  • PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)-based information certification technology has some limitations to be universally applied to mobile banking services, using smart phones, since PKI is dependent on the specific kind of web browser, Internet Explorer. OTP(One Time Password) is considered to be a substitute or complementary service of PKI, but it still shows low acceptance rate. Therefore, in this research, we analyze why OTP has not been very popular, and provide useful implications of making OTP more extensively and frequently used in the mobile environment. Perceived security of OTP was set as a higher-order construct of integrity, confidentiality, authentication, and non-repudiation. Research findings show that security awareness and perceived security of OTP is positively associated, and the relationship between perceived security and trust on OTP is statistically significant. Also, trust is positively related to intention to use OTP continuously.

  • This study is to examine the factors that influence purchasing behavior and decision-making when consumers buy goods through mobile shopping, define purchasing decision-making with the steps of problem recognition, information search, alternative assessment, and purchasing behavior to understand mobile consumer behavior, and investigate how the factors of each step play roles and influence consumers' purchasing decision-making through positive analysis to figure out consumer purchasing behavior in mobile shopping. The study results, First, the user characteristics of information search influence flow. Second, in the relations between the user characteristics in the step of information search and perceived risk in alternative assessment, if recognition on gains is higher, perceived risk for time loss gets lower, and when the level of skills is higher, perceived risk gets higher, and it has been partly adopted that innovativeness does not influence risk perception. Third, in the relations between flow experience and purchasing intention, it has been found to be partially significant that remote presence and challenge do not influence purchasing intention but do influence excitement, attention concentration, and control and also do influence perceived risk and purchasing intention. Fourth, according to the results of analyzing the difference of consumer purchasing behavior by the types of involvement, practical involvement and sensual involvement, user characteristics and flow, and perceived risk differ by the types of products in terms of the search process, thereby changing purchasing intention. Lastly, the significance and limitations of this study was discussed.

The Impact of Users' Congruity and Emotion on Intention to Game Use (사용자의 일치성과 감정이 게임이용에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was accomplished to examine the relationship between the videogame player's perceived congruity and intention to game use, and to investigate the mediating effect of emotion as the psychological factor. Games for the research subject are confined to single player games on console or PC not online or mobile games to rule out human interaction. The results proposed that self and functional congruity have positive impact on intention to game use, and emotion is in the mediating effect of these relationships. Based on the results of the analysis, game producers have some implications for the game which is appropriate for the quality, the gamer's image, and the emotional aspect.

  • e-Learning can be seen as not only one of Internet based information systems which can provide education services, but also one of teaching-learning methods which can implement self-directed learning. This paper tests factors affecting the e-Learning performance based on information systems success model and self-efficacy theory using a field study. Questionnaires are collected from 216 students who are enrolling a e-learning class using online survey. The results are following: first, the service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of use intention, but system quality and information quality are not. second, the system quality, information quality, service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of user satisfaction. Third, use intention and user satisfaction are found to be a strong predictor of the learning performance.

Empirical Research on Types and Service Attributes of Mobile Donation Applications (모바일 기부 앱의 사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증 연구)

  • With the rapid growth of the mobile application market, mobile donation applications have emerged as a new type of application that enables users to donate without actual payments. To date, limited research has been conducted to provide guidelines on how to design new types of mobile donation applications. Using cause-related marketing theory as theoretical framework, this study aims to identify the features of mobile donation applications that increase the intention of users to use such applications. To achieve this goal, we conducted two experiments. The results of an ANOVA test in the first experiment showed that indirect mobile donation applications (i.e., applications without actual payment) have a stronger positive effect on perceived effectiveness and cause involvement than direct mobile donation applications (i.e., applications with actual payment). In addition, perceived effectiveness and cause involvement yield positive effects on the intention to use mobile donation applications. The results of the second experiment showed that indirect mobile donation applications with utilitarian functions have a greater positive effect on perceived effectiveness and cause involvement than mobile donation applications with hedonic functions. These results contribute to mobile application and donation research as well as provide guidelines for practitioners on the design of mobile donation applications.

Factors affecting the Continuance Usage Intention of Biometric Technology : Comparing Dark Scenario with Bright Scenario (생체인식기술의 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 다크 시나리오와 브라이트 시나리오의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between expectancy confirmation and continuance usage intention in biometric technology. We extend the continuance usage intention model, TAM and expectation confirmation theory by adding perceived privacy, perceived security and trust. Results was analyzed by using structural equations model. The results show that satisfaction and perceived usefulness have positive effect on continuance usage intention in the bright scenario. Perceived privacy and perceived security are positive factors on perceived usefulness, and perceived privacy is positive effect on perceived security. On the other hand, the respondents who are exposed to the dark scenario have negative effects on the perceived privacy, perceived security and trust. And finally, trust has no significant effect on the perceived usefulness.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국어 대화 처리를 위한 통계기반 음성언어이해 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 음성언어이해시스템은 대화처리에서 음성 인식된 문장으로부터 사용자의 의도를 인식하여 의미표현으로 표현하는 기능을 담당한다. 한국어의 특성을 반영한 실용적인 음성언어이해 시스템을 위해서 강건성과 적용성, 확장성 등이 요구된다. 이를 위해 본 시스템은 음성언어의 특성상 구조분석을 하지 않고, 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 사용자 의도 표현을 생성하는 방식을 취하고 있다. 또한 한국어에서 나타나는 특징들에 대한 처리를 위해 자질 추가 및 점규화 처리 등을 수행하였다. 정보서비스용 대화처리 시스템을 대상으로 개발되고 있고, 차량 정보서비스용 학습 코퍼스를 대상으로 실험을 하여 문장단위 정확률로 약 89%의 성능을 보이고 있다.
