  • Until recently, ind ustrial designers designed the product packaging of Eletronic Media, and userInterface designers focused primarily on software design, But as computer related technology continues to evolve, this distinction has become ambiguous, As a natural consequence of these trends, industrial designers are getting more involved in user-interface design to develop interactive objects, Moreover, In the future, the whole Information of a product whIch means product packaging, marketing, training matenals, support as weIl as hardware and software will be regarded as a product, and user's entIre expenences including the material elements of product will be taken for the factors of user interface to expand the category of user interface design. The importance of interface design and its applications within industrial design has been stressed in the recent years, However researches on practical process in interface design developments have been rarely established. This paper aims to develop the interaction design process for the useful user-interface design by theoretical study and actual analysis of user-interface design.

Construction of an Asymmetric Traitor Tracing Schemes with Anonymity (익명성을 보장하는 비대칭 공모자 추적 기법의 설계)

  • Traitor tracing schemes deter traitors from sharing their private keys by tracing at least one of the subscribers who were implicated in the construction of a pirate decoder. In general, it is assumed that the system manager in the scheme generates and distributes the subscribers' private key. But if the system manager knows the subscribers' private keys, he cannot convince a third party of a certain subscriber's piracy. To solve this problem, the system manager should not know the whole parts of subscribers' private keys and this leads to researches of asymmetric schemes. Moreover for the purpose of enhancing subscribers' privacy, there were two proposals of introducing anonymity onto asymmetric traitor tracing schemes, but one of them turned out to be a failure. In this paper, we point out that the other proposal also has flaws. We consider how to introduce anonymity to traitor tracing schemes, as a result, we suggest a new framework which is practical. We also construct a scheme by using an anonymous credential system and an asymmetric traitor tracing scheme. We prove the security of our scheme and consider the typical applications.

Performance evaluation of vessel extraction algorithm applied to Aortic root segmentation in CT Angiography (CT Angiography 영상에서 대동맥 추출을 위한 혈관 분할 알고리즘 성능 평가)

  • World Health Organization reported that heart-related diseases such as coronary artery stenoses show the highest occurrence rate which may cause heart attack. Using Computed Tomography angiography images will allow radiologists to detect and have intervention by creating 3D roadmapping of the vessels. However, it is often complex and difficult do reconstruct 3D vessel which causes very large amount of time and previous researches were studied to segment vessels more accurate automatically. Therefore, in this paper, Region Competition, Geodesic Active Contour (GAC), Multi-atlas based segmentation and Active Shape Model algorithms were applied to segment aortic root from CTA images and the results were analyzed by using mean Hausdorff distance, volume to volume measure, computational time, user-interaction and coronary ostium detection rate. As a result, Extracted 3D aortic model using GAC showed the highest accuracy but also showed highest user-interaction results.   • A registry is a hierarchy database which is designed to store information necessary for operating system and application programs in Windows operating system, and it is involved in all activities such as booting, logging, service execution, application execution, and user behavior. Digital forensic is widely used. In recent years, malicious codes have penetrated into systems in a way that is not recognized by the user, and valuable information is leaked or stolen, causing financial damages. Therefore, this study proposes a method to detect malicious code by using a shareware application without using expensive digital forensic program, so as to analysis hacking methods and prevent hacking damage in advance.

The Effects of Social Information on Recommendation Trust and Moderating Effect of Product Involvement (소셜정보가 추천신뢰에 미치는 영향과 제품관여도의 조절효과)

  • This study aims to identify which social information have significant influence on the improvement of recommendation trust and how these effects can be different according to the product involvement level. Based on the relevant literature reviews, this study posits four characteristics of recommendation trust, which are closeness, similarity, sincerity, and reputation, and established a research model for the relationship between social information and recommendation trust. And we found a moderating effect of product involvement on the relationship between social information and recommendation trust. 205 trust relationships(links) from 55 respondents of Google Docs. survey data have been collected and tested using multiple regression and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of our hypotheses testing are summarized as follows. Firstly, four social information characteristics of closeness, similarity, sincerity, and reputation have a significantly positive effect on recommendation trust. Secondly, a moderating effect of product involvement between recommendation trust and antecedents (e.g., closeness and reputation) of social information is significant. From the results, we provide theoretical and managerial implications, and suggestions for further research.

A Study on the factors of SNS information influencing consumers' purchasing intention: focusing on Chinese Weibo (SNS 정보 요인이 소비자 구매의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 : 중국 웨이보를 중심으로)

  • The SNS website can take full advantage of the characteristics of users to conduct e-commerce. The e-commerce website's organizing ability will be greatly strengthened by SNS and creates greater value for consumers. This article examined the Chinese largest SNS (Weibo) users as research objects, and combined the development status of SNS in China. This article focuses on the influence to consumer's purchase intention in three aspects: number of comments, consumer involvement level, and consumer appealing method and examines how the interaction of the number of comments and consumer appealing method affects the purchase intention. An investigation was conducted on 400 users of SNS and using valid questionnaires to perform reliability analysis, validity analysis, independent sample t-test, and double factor variance analysis using SPSS21. The research results indicated that the number of comments and rational appealing method had significant effect on the purchase intention. The mediating or controlling the purchase involvement level will disturb the influence of the number of comments but will have no effect on the information appealing method.

  • As violent video game is used based on active interaction and involvement of users, it is widely thought that it may have more effect on individual violence and aggressive action than existing violent videos. This study aimed to examine the effect of user experiences in the violent video game such as hostility, anger, arousal, enjoyment and identification on users' aggressive action. For this purpose, the first person FPS shooting game that consists of violent contents was employed to carry out playtest for 80 subjects with 40 male and 40 female university students. As a result, it was found that the user's arousal level, state anger, enjoyment and identification experience by the use of violent video game had an effect on aggressive action. Among factors that have aggressive action in the used of violent video game, besides emotion and arousal, the level of identification with a game character was found to be important effect factor. Hostility factor that was assumed to have effect on aggressive action was not significant, but enjoyment of game was proved to have effect on aggressive action of users.

The Effect of Layout Framing on SNS Shopping Information: A-D Perspective (SNS 쇼핑정보의 레이아웃 프레이밍 연구: A-D 관점에서)

  • With the recent explosive popularity of SNS, it is increasingly important to utilize SNS marketing, and in this process, the importance of image and caption order in SNS layout is also growing. This research aims to analyze the impact of SNS layouts (Image First vs. Caption First) on the user's attitude toward SNS shopping. A survey was conducted targeting 350 general public and college(graduate) students living in Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province. The data was analyzed using PROCESS, regression analysis, and t-test by SPSS 21.0 program. The result of this study, it was confirmed that the Image First was more accessible than the Caption First. The Caption First was confirmed to be more diagnostic than the Image First. Moreover, from three specific mediation paths, only two were confirmed, named is through diagnosticity and usefulness, and through accessibility, diagnosticity, and usefullness. The path through diagnosticity and usefulness were stronger than another. Additionally, the impact of accessibility on diagnosticity was found to be higher when involvement was high rather than when involvement was low.

  • In post-industrial society, the ability to feel and express emotion is becoming ever more important. In diverse areas of our lives such as economic, social, political and cultural activities, we are witnessing an increased application of the emotional dimension. This paper deals with the human experiences in emotional designs. Literature reviews and case analyses have been used as the main research methods. I first examine the aspects of emotional experience in designs, and then go on to analyze the components of each aspect. Emotional experience in designs has three basic aspects : (a) initially there exist user's emotional needs (b) then these emotions are delivered through design, (c) finally, emotions expressed in designs are experienced by the user. Followings are the related components for each aspect : (a) Physiological, psychological, social and cultural factors cause one to feel emotional needs. (b) Emotion is delivered either through visual symbols, experience, interaction and participation. (c) Emotion is experienced by sensing, feeling, thinking, acting and relating.

Automatic Extraction and Preferred Processing of ROI in JPEG2000 (JPEG2000에서 ROI의 자동 추출과 우선적 처리)

  • A digitized image passes by encoding, storing or transmitting to show it to users. In this process, may be users would want to see a specific region of the image. And depending on the system features or in the case that the resolution of the image is large, it will take a huge time that the image show to the users. In this time, it will be resonable that the part users want to see shows earlier and afterward the other parts show. For this, JPEG2000 standards provide ROI. Although ROI extraction that users specify ROI arbitrarily is the best, people not always participate in doing all the images. There needs an automatic ROI extracting and storing in some images. JPEG2000 should extract and send an ROI automatically when the images is encoded without ROI. This study proposes a method that automatically extracts an ROI, makes the ROI masks, transfers the masked image preferentially and the background. And the study compares and experiments the proposed method and the method not having ROI.
