A Study on the Aspect of Evolution and the Pursuit of Reality appeared in Cognizance of Paintings on the Pre-chosun Dynasty (조선전기 회화인식(繪畫認識)에 나타난 진(眞) 추구와 전개양상 고찰)

  • In this paper, I examined two things. First explore the of the reality(眞) in poems written on paintings and discussion on paintings in men of letters of Pre-chosun dynasty, furthemore, it analyzes the meaning and thought. To explain it, I would like to analyse the discourse surrounding the reality(眞) in poems written on paintings and discussion on paintings, and concept of the borrowing(假) and the unreal(幻). First of all, I examine the ways that the view of nature of Confucians is pertinent to the abiding in reverence and the investigation of principles of confucians, also painting is necessarry condition for their moral and spiritual self-cultivation. In the discourse surrounding the reality, it is to suggest from 'natural reality (天眞)' to escape from the reality(眞), and proceeds to examine the transformation of reality(眞) in mind(人心). Furthermore I examine the meaning of transform and delicate difference between borrowing(假) and the unreal(幻). In this process, concept of the borrowing(假) and the unreal(幻) is divided into the two meaning. False(假) is to become the Borrowing and painting, the unreal(幻) is change into the act of recognition. In conclusion, I examined the significant transformation of the reality(眞) and the unreal(幻). The reality(眞) has been recognized as a important concept, it is diverged into the Nature, outer things and painting mind, and the object of ultimate value in appreciation and painting of Pre-chosun dynasty.

Understanding Human Nobility Epoch, the Prerequisite of the Era of Resolution of Grievances (해원시대를 전제하는 인존시대에 대한 이해)

  • While examining the religious ideas implied by Jeungsan's Great Works of the Reordering of Universe, we find special ideas which cannot be found in any other religions, and these ideas are presented in diverse ways. Most of all, the representative idea is that of human nobility; a distinctive idea which makes Daesoonjinrihoe different from other religions. Thus, this research focuses on the following questions: when was Human Nobility concretely realized? What kind of organic relationship does human nobility have between the divine world and the world of humanity? In light of the forthcoming Era of Human Nobility, what are some concrete images which can be drawn from the interaction between the realms of heaven and humanity wherein preordinations are plotted in heaven and then carried out by humankind? Prior to formulating my own sense of the subject matter, I consulted 43 previous discussions and dissertations and arranged them chronologically so as to examine their correlation. From these sources and my own insights, I was able to gain a sense of the starting point of the era of human nobility and its tenor. I have found the following problems in previous research on the uniqueness and distinctness of human nobility: ①The conceptual undertones of human nobility have not been adequately gleaned. ②There do not seem to be any dissertations which examine the way in which human nobility is connected with the doctrines of the creative conjunction between yin and yang, the harmonious union of divine beings and human beings, and the resolution of grievances for mutual beneficence. ③In most dissertations, not only is the starting point of the Era of Human Nobility regarded as concurrent with the start of the 50,000 years of earthly paradise in the Later World, but also the point of division between the former world and the later world is widely disputed. ④In-depth and fully realized studies dealing with the subject of human nobility are not easily found. ⑤There is little sense of progression in the research on human nobility because scholars are not sufficiently engage with one another to achieve common consensus. Therefore, in this dissertation, I have provided answers to the problems I discovered in previous research. I have developed my own tenor as follows: ①By giving priority to the Jeongyeong, I have closely investigated the period which divides the Former World and the Later World. Then, I produced a chronological timeline to demonstrate the progression: the Former World → the Era of the Resolution of Grievances → the Later World. This aids in the comprehension of human nobility. ②The Era of Human Nobility was preceeded by the opening of the Era of the Resolution of Grievances of human world which began in 1901. Human nobility is stipulated as a regulatory system for the universe set in motion by the opening the Era of Resolution of Grievances. ③While synthetically examining the aspects of transition which enable the Ear of Human Nobility to be realized, the period to be studied is stipulated as beginning from 1901 and ending at the start of the Later World. The subjects are defined as the flowing from Jeungsan, the first leader of human nobility, to the noble individuals empowered by Dao and the noble populace. In the Era of Human Nobility, studying the transition process by which human nobility is realized requires delving into the resolution of grievances. Although this method is essential to understanding Daesoon ideas, in actuality it does not hinge upon speculative exegetical theorizing but instead it was gained through eisegetical rigor.

Analysis of Spatial Structure in Geographic Data with Changing Spatial Resolution (해상도 변화에 따른 공간 데이터의 구조특성 분석)

  • The spatial distribution characteristics and patterns of geographic features in space can be understood through a variety of analysis techniques. The scale is one of most important factors in spatial analysis techniques. This study is aimed at identifying the characteristics of spatial data with a coarser spatial resolution and finding procedures for spatial resolution in operational scale. To achieve these objectives, this study selected LANSAT TM imagery for Sunchon Bay, a coastal wetland for a study site, applied the indices for representing scale characteristics with resolution, and compared those indices. Local variance and fractal dimension developed by previous studies were applied to measure the textual characteristics. In this study, Moran s I was applied to measure spatial pattern change of variance data which were generated from the process of coarser resolution. Drawing upon the Moran s I of variancedata was optimum technique for analysing spatial structure than those of previous studies (local variance and fractal dimension). When the variance data represents maximum Moran´s I at certainly resolution, spatial data reveals maximum change at that resolution. The optimum resolution for spatial data can be explored by applying these results.

Looking Into the Realities of Early Childhood Education: Focusing on Postmodern Aspec (유아교육현장 들여다보기: 포스트모던적 양상을 중심으로)

  • It is generally agreed that the 21st century is the era of postmodernism. Postmodernism emerged with opposition and resistance to modernism which pursued values like the absoluteness of truth and knowledge, the Enlightenment, rationalism, objectivism and consequentialism among others. Now postmodernism is currently given a great deal of attention as it is considered a new ideology that can help explain many of the different and continuous changes which are occurring in a variety of fields including politics, economy, society and culture, not to mention education. In this sense, this study's purpose is to examine postmodern aspects found specifically in the field of early childhood education. As a result, this study found that those aspects could be briefly described by four main phrases, or 'early childhood education whose contexts are based on relativity', 'early childhood education operating under the system of rhizome' 'early education in which inter-directionality is pursued' and 'early education in which process-orientation is being intensified'. In the chapter of conclusion, finally, this study discusses how those aspects are correlated with one another and what implications they may have for the field of early childhood education.

Preservation Methods of Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae in Relation to Virulence and Colony-Type Variation (벼 흰빛잎마름병균의 균주보관에 따른 병원성 및 집락변이현상)

  • Effects of presservation methods on viability and virulence of Xanthosmonas compestris pv. oryzae were investigated. The incidence of colony-type variants from freeze-dried and deep-frozen cultures was also determined. The suspending medium for freeze-dried cultures containing $10\%$ sucrose and $1\%$ gelatin showed the highest viability, and the virulence was well maintained in the suspending medium containing $2\%$ dextrin, $0.5\%$ ascorbic acid, 0.5% ammonium chloride, $0.5\%$ thiourea, and $0.85\%$ NaCl. Serially transferred cultures became attenuated. Rough colonies which had wrinkled surface occurred at a frequency of $1.9\%$ to $15.8\%$ during freeze-drying and freezing. The rough colonies consisted of nonseptated filamentous cells and rod-shaped cells. The virulence of rough colonies was weak as compared with the normal colony type.

An Offer of a Procedure Calculating Hourly Rainfall Excess by Use of Horton Infiltration Model in a Basin (유역 단위 Horton 침투모형을 적용한 시간단위 초과우량 산출 절차 제시)

  • It is basic for a flood prediction to calculate direct runoff from rainfall in a basin by the rainfall-runoff model. The direct runoff is calculated from rainfall excess or effective rainfall based on a rainfall-runoff model. The total rainfall minus rainfall loss equals rainfall excess with time. This loss can be treated equal to an infiltration loss under the assumption that the infiltration is a major one among the losses in the rainfall-runoff model. Practically obtaining the infiltration loss $\Phi$ index method, W index method or modified ones of these have been used. In this study it is assumed the loss of rainfall in a basin be a well-known Horton infiltration mechanism. And in case that the parameter set is given in the Horton infiltration model a procedure and assumption for calculating hourly infiltration loss and rainfall excess are offered and the results of its application are compared with those of $\Phi$ index method. By this study it is well shown the value of Horton infiltration function is exponentially decay with time as the Horton infiltration mechanism.

  • This paper critically examines the evolution of Nam June Paik's self-contradictory art philosophy. While the existing literature tends to slight it, Paik's works of arts remain fraught with contradictions: Paik has proved prima facie avant-garde an artist; however, as the scale and form of his works have developed, the prophetic, path-breaking philosophical underpinnings of his arts evolved to become more conformist. The present paper aims to shed light on the understudied and underappreciated side of Paik's accomplishments in order to come to a fuller understanding and appreciation of his arts and his legacy.

A Method based on Ontology for detecting errors in the Software Design (온톨로지 기반의 소프트웨어 설계에러검출방법)

  • The objective of this thesis is to improve the quality of a software product based on the enhancement of a software design quality using a better error detecting method. Also, this thesis is based on a software design method called as MOA(Methodology for Object to Agents) which uses an ontology based ODES(A Method based on Ontology for Detecting Errors in the Software Design) model as a common information model. At this thesis, a new format of error detecting method was defined. The method is implemented during a transformation process from UML model to ODES model using a ODES model, a Inter-View Inconsistency Detection technique and a combination of ontologic property of consistency framework and related rules. Transformation process to ODES model includes lexicon analysis and meaning analysis of a software design using of multiple mapping table at algorithm for the generation of ODES model instance.

Analyis of stormwater and runoff characteristics in Anseongcun basin using HEC-HMS (HEC-HMS을 이용한 안성천 유역의 강우 유출 특성 분석)

  • The HEC-HMS model was applied to identify the rainfall-runoff processes for the Anseongchun basin, where the lower part of the stream has been damaged severely by tropical storms in the past. Modeling processes include incorporating with the SCS-CN model for loss, Clark's UH model for transformation, exponential recession model for baseflow, and Muskingum model for channel routing. The parameters were calibrated through an optimization technique using a trial and error method. Sensitivity analysis after calibration was performed to understand the effects of parameters, such as the time of concentration, storage coefficient, and base flow related constants. Two storm water events were simulated by the model and compared with the corresponding observations. Good accuracy in predicting the runoff volume, peak flow, and the time to peak flow was achieved using the selected methods. The results of this study can be used as a useful tool for decision makers to determine a master plan for regional flood control management.

Korean Word Recognition Using Vector Quantization Speaker Adaptation (벡터 양자화 화자적응기법을 사용한 한국어 단어 인식)

  • This paper proposes the ESFVQ(energy subspace fuzzy vector quantization) that employs energy subspaces to reduce the quantizing distortion which is less than that of a fuzzy vector quatization. The ESFVQ is applied to a speaker adaptation method by which Korean words spoken by unknown speakers are recognized. By generating mapped codebooks with fuzzy histogram according to each energy subspace in the training procedure and by decoding a spoken word through the ESFVQ in the recognition proecedure, we attempt to improve the recognition rate. The performance of the ESFVQ is evaluated by measuring the quantizing distortion and the speaker adaptive recognition rate for DDD telephone area names uttered by 2 males and 1 female. The quatizing distortion of the ESFVQ is reduced by 22% than that of a vector quantization and by 5% than that of a fuzzy vector quantization, and the speaker adaptive recognition rate of the ESFVQ is increased by 26% than that without a speaker adaptation and by 11% than that of a vector quantization.
