1996년 일반손해보험에 일부자유요율제도가 도입됨에 따라 각 보험회사가 자사의 실정에 맞게 개별적으로 요율을 산출, 적용할 수 있는 보험회사별 경쟁요율체계로 전환되게 되었다. 금년에는 특히 화재보험종목의 요율규정 중 많은 부분에 조정이 발생하게 되었는 데 주요 변경내용에 관해 간단히 알아본다.

에너지관리공단은 지난 3월 28일 ''소형열병합발전시스템 ESCO사업 투자사업 표준화(안) 공청회''를 개최했다. 이(안)은 기존 소형열병합발전 ESCO사업이 시공사별로 설계 및 설치범위가 다른데다 절감량 산출근거와 방법이 상이해 소비자 혼란과 ESCO간의 과열경쟁으로 치닫는 점을 보완하기 위해서 마련됐다. 공청회 결과를 토대로 표준화 안이 최종 확정될 예정이며 이 자료는(안)임을 밝혀둔다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of dependency and abuse on depression according to gender in widowed elderly. Method: A convenient sample consisted of 246 widowed elderly who were more than 65 years old in four cities. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire from August to September, 2002. A dependency Scale developed by Ahn (1999) was used to measure the level of dependency. Emotional abuse and physical abuse were measured by 10 items for emotional abuse and 7 items for physical abuse selected out of the Conditions Scale of Elder Abuse. The level of depression was measured by the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS). The SPSS WIN 11.0 version program was used for data analysis. Result: In male widowed elderly, dependency affected depression indirectly through emotional abuse. While in female widowed elderly, dependency affected depression directly and affected emotional abuse indirectly. Conclusion: The study showed that dependency was the most explainable variable on depression in widowed female elderly. Therefore, it dependency should be assessed first in nursing intervention to relieve depression of widowed elderly.

한국 사망력의 수준 및 특징을 일본과 비교하고자 양국의 1995년 공식통계를 사용하여 사망원인별로 성·연령·혼인상태별 사망률, 연령표준화사망률, 생존기간손실년수(PYLL) 및 동 측정치의 남녀간 비와 한일간 비를 계산하였다. 사망원인 항목은 모든 사인(총사망), 결핵, 악성신생물, 당뇨병, 고혈압성 질환, 심장 질환, 뇌혈관 질환, 간 진환, 교통사고, 자살을 포함한다. 일본과 비교하여 한국 사망력의 두드러진 특징은 다음과 같다 : (1)자살을 제외한 대부분의 사인에서 한국의 사망률이 일본보다 높은데 , 특히 결핵, 고혈압성 질환, 간 질환 및 교통사고의 경우 한국 생산활동연령층의 사망률이 두드러지게 높다 : (2)결핵, 간질환, 교통사고, 암사망이 한국의 소아에게서도 발생한다 : (3)한국의 생산활동연령층에서 간 질환, 결핵, 교통사고에 의한 성별 사망력 격차가 큰데, 남성의 사망률이 여성의 사망률보다 높기 때문이다 : (4)자살률이 한국생산활동연령층 남성의 경우 일본보다 낮고, 10대와 20대 여성의 자살률은 일본보다 높다 : (5)한국의 45세 미만에서는 사인에 따라 사별이나 이혼상태에서, 45세 이상에서는 모든 사인에 대해 남녀 모두 미혼상태에서 사망력이 가장 높다. : (6)한국은 사별상태에서, 일본은 이혼상태에서 성별 사망력 격차가 가장 크다.

본 연구의 목적은 통신사간에 무선인터넷으로 제공되는 휴대폰 MP3 사운드의 음질차이가 있는지, 있다면 어느 요소에서 발생하는지를 조사하는 것이었다. 선두 통신사나 휴대폰 제조사가 가지는 브랜드의 영향 요소를 배재하고, 음질의 차이가 생기는 요소들을 찾아내기 위한 일련의 실험이 계획되었다. 특정 장르, 제작자, PC용 MP3플레이어, 휴대폰 제조사 등 음질의 차이가 발생 할 수 있는 요소들을 테스트 하였다. 연구결과 휴대폰 무선 인터넷을 통해 이용하는 MP3 사운드는 통신사별로 음질 차이가 존재하는 것으로 파악되었다. 음질의 차이는 콘텐츠 및 휴대폰의 차이에서 발생하며, 동일휴대폰 모델의 경우에도 통신사 모델별로 음질의 차이가 발생하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 통신사별로 제공하는 PC용 MP3 플레이어도 음질의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 음악 장르에 대한 음질의 차이는 일관되게 나타나지 않았다.

본 논문에서는 RAW 이미지 포맷 중 PEF, MRW에 대한 분석 결과와 RAWImage Viewer에 대해 소개한다. DSLR 디지털 카메라로 촬영되는 이미지 파일은 범용의 JPEG 포맷이나 제조사별 독자적인 RAW 이미지 포맷으로 저장된다. 이러한 RAW 이미지 파일을 PMP 등의 휴대용 멀티미디어 기기나 디지털액자에서 재생 및 확인하기 위한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 하지만, RAW 이미지 포맷이 디지털 카메라 제조사별로 다르고, 해당 포맷에 대한 구체적인 정보가 공개되지 않아 대부분의 휴대용 멀티미디어 기기에서 RAW 이미지 파일 재생 기능을 완벽하게 지원하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RAW 이미지 파일 포맷을 분석하여 다양한 임베디드 멀티미디어 기기에서 모든 RAW 이미지 파일을 지원할 수 있는 라이브러리 구축을 위한 연구 결과 중 일부를 소개한다. Cannon의 CRW, CR2 포맷과 Nikon의 NEF 분석 결과에 이어 PEF, MRW에 대한 분석 결과와 RAW 이미지 출력 및 분석 기능이 포함된 RAWImage Viewer에 대해 설명한다. 연구 결과는 RAW 파일을 재생할 수 있는 임베디드 장비 및 PC용 RAW 이미지 파일 재생 라이브러리를 구축 및 응용 프로그램 개발시 활용될 것이다.

The study examined whether informal and formal social participations may mediate the association between widowhood and depressive symptoms, and whether gender may moderate the mediated associations. The data consisted of men and women 65+ who participated in the $3^{rd}$ wave of the Koran Longitudinal Study of Aging (KLoSA ; N = 4,146). Findings suggest that first, widowed older adults experienced significantly higer levels of depressive symptoms compared to their married counterparts. At the same time, the widowed individuals also reported more frequent contacts with family, friends, and neighbors (informal social participation), which contributed to narrowing the depression gap between widowed and married. Second, gender moderated the mediated association such that the mediating effect of informal social participation was significant only for older widowed women. Further, no mediating effect was found of formal social participation (participation in social, leisure, religious groups) for widowed and married regardless of gender. Previous studies indicated that social participation may be an important mediating factor that attenuates the effect of widowhood on depressive symptoms. Building on existing research, the present study highlighted theoretical rationales for potential gender differences in the way social participation may mediate the widowhood-depression linkage and evaluated statistically whether gender may moderate the mediated association.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing life satisfaction in widowhood among older females. Using the sixth Korean Retirement and Income Study (KReIS) supplementary survey data, a total sample of 1,471 women aged 65 or older whose spouse had died were selected, divided into 508 young-old (65-74), 745 middle-old (75-84), and 218 oldest-old (85+). Then, factors influencing the life satisfaction of these three groups were analyzed, based on a combination of perceived health and interpersonal satisfaction levels. It was found that among the young-old group, a higher level of subjective health perception indicated by monthly income and material support and interpersonal satisfaction linked to more frequent participation in community gathering combined for an overall higher level of life satisfaction. For the middle-old group, higher life satisfaction was provided by monthly income, informational support, and material support for subjective health perception and no diseases for interpersonal satisfaction. The oldest-old group with higher life satisfaction referred to monthly income for subjective health perception and no experience in donation activities for interpersonal satisfaction. Based on these findings, this study provides implications for policy and practice to improve the life satisfaction of elderly women who have experienced their spouse's death.

본 논문에서는 드라마의 시청률에 영향을 미치는 요소가 무엇인지를 파악하기 위해 정형화된 데이터와 비정형화된 데이터를 분석하기 위한 내용이다. 정형화된 데이터 수집은 각 방송사의 드라마 정보, 인물정보, 방송정보, 시청률정보라는 4가지 영역에서 총 19가지항목을 수집하였다. 비정형데이터를 수집하기 위해 각 방송사에서 드라마별로 운영되고 있는 게시판과 방영전블로그와 방영후블로그로부터 크롤링기법을 이용하여 수집하였다. 수집된 데이터로부터 방송사별 드라마 방영시간대, 방영시작시기, 장르, 방영요일에 따른 차이를 비교한 결과 방송사별 서로 유사한 것으로 나타났다.
