With the advent of multicultural society, many countries have come to the point of considering a fundamental revision or review of their previously established national identity and social constitution principles. This situation often generates conflicts and controversies between advocates of tradition and promotors of multiculturalism. In this article we will look at the case of France and Brazil and discuss how these two countries maintain, discard or fundamentally modify their traditional social integration model in the face of the multicultural challenges(racism, racial discrimination and integration/coexistence of immigrants of different cultural backgrounds), and examine the controversial aspects surrounding it. In particular, focusing our eyes on racial/ethnic statistics debates in both countries, we will try to compare the cases between that of adoption of multicultural alternative model(Brazil) and the case of rejection/retention(France) to find out some political meanings imbedded in those cases.

Due to the development of the online and mobile, cases of introducing CMS(Contents Management System) and WCMS(Web Contents Management System) to manage Web-Contents of individual and company's homepage are continuously increasing. In this paper, it is necessary to develop WCMS that can establish GUI(Graphic User Interface) based WCMS and edit contents using more concise procedures. In this paper, by reconfiguring WCMS-based Web contents using user-definition, we designed the system that can effectively and conveniently edit web contents as GUI-based. Also, we studied the intuitive and convenient web-contents management methods through researches using simplified logic. Therefore, proposed WCMS based Web-contents editing system allows the users to edit and modify the web contents much more quickly and conveniently compared to the existing web-contents editing system.

This paper presents an Modified Orthogonal Neural Network(MONN), new modified model of Orthogonal Neural Network(0NN) based on orthogonal functions, and applies it to nonlinear system approximator. ONN proposed by Yang and Tseng, doesn't have the problems of traditional multilayer feedforward neural networks such as the determination of initial weights and the numbers of layers and processing elements. And tranining of ONN converges rapidly. But ONN cannot adapt its orthogonal functions to a given system. The accuracy of ONN, in terms of the minimal possible deviation between system and approximator, is essentially dependent on the choice of basic orthogonal functions. In order to improve ability and effectiveness of approximate nonlinear systems, MONN has an input transformation layer to adapt its basic orthogonal functions to a given nonlinear system. The results show that MONN has the excellent performance of approximate nonlinear systems and the input transfnrmation makes the ability of MONN better than one of ONN.

The purpose of this study was to explore the domestic and overseas home modification policies, and review the direction of domestic home modification policies to enable 'Aging In Place; AIP' and the competencies required of occupational therapist as and expert in home modification. In order to expand occupational therapy for domestic home modification and strengthen occupational therapist competency, it is required to establish a clear and practical home modification process that reflects the design and intervention of occupational therapy. Appropriate selection and standardization of the evaluation tools that identifies the needs of the elderly and reflects the characteristics of domestic housing types are also required. In addition, it is necessary to understand policies and systems, and endeavour to establish a relevant knowledge base for communication and cooperation with experts in other fields. In terms of the policy, there is a need for the home modification support system that allows the elderly to adapt to their aging regardless of their income level, beyond the existing support system, which was implemented mainly for low-income people and disabled. In addition, as in overseas cases, the efforts need to be made to provide various and efficient measures, such as support for barrier-free housing, expansion of the scope of support through cooperation between the national government and local governments, low-interest loans and tax reductions, and establishment of governance with organizations and institutions related to home modification services.

This study implements library toolbar in order to improve the accessibility of OPAC in the library. The toolbar elements are extracted on the basis of the importance of functionality for OPAC. After comparing the toolbar implementation approaches, this study develops the library toolbar with these elements as the client-based application that can fully realized the functionality of the toolbar. The librarians evaluate the usability of toolbar very affirmatively. This study also summarizes the further functionalities to upgrade toolbar proposed by the librarian. Through deploying the upgraded toolbar, the user requirements have to be analyzed and realized with the user survey.

주조방안이란 주형(금형)에 공동부를 어떻게 설계하고 공동부의 어떤 위치에 어떻게 탕도, 탕구 등을 설계할 것인지, 또 over-flow 및 air-vent는 어떻게 설계하여 가스뽑기 및 용탕을 공동부에 원활히 충진시켜 완전한 제품을 얻을 수 있을까에 대한 제반적인 주조방법의 계획이다. 즉, 용탕을 공동부에 충진시키는 시스템이며, 주조상에 발생하는 제문제 및 주조제품의 품질에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요소 중의 하나이다. 따라서 만약 주조방안 시스템이 부적절하여 불량률이 높은 경우에는 대폭적인 금형수정이나 경우에 따라서는 불가피하게 금형을 신작해야 하는 큰 문제도 야기될 수 있다. 또한 기본적인 품질문제로 탕회, 탕경, 크랙 등의 외관불량과 기동 등의 내부결함, 내압불량등도 유발될 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 불량대책으로 쉽게 주조방안을 수정하는 것은 주조 시스템 자체가 변해버리기 때문에 피해야 하며 다른 대책을 선행하여 해결할 수 없었을 때 최종적으로 신중히 검토 후 주조방안을 수정하는 것이 바람직하다. 따라서, 본고에서는 Al합금 다이캐스트 주조기술에 있어 주조품질을 결정하는 중요한 요소인 주조방안의 효과적인 설계를 위한 주조기 선정, 금형분할면 선정, 탕구계의 설계와 탕구선정, over-flow 및 air-vent설계, 수축여유 및 금형냉각방안 선정기술에 대한 기본적 방안을 제시하고 실제 주조방안의 대표적인 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

The RPO(randomized policy optimizer) algorithm, which utilizes probabilistic policy for the action selection, is a recently developed tool in the area of reinforcement learning, and has been shown to be very successful in several application problems. In this paper, we propose a modified RPO algorithm, whose critic network is adapted via RLS(Recursive Least Square) algorithm. In order to illustrate the applicability of the modified RPO method, we applied the modified algorithm to Kimura's robot and observed very good performance. We also developed a MATLAB-based animation program, by which the effectiveness of the training algorithms on the acceleration or the robot movement were observed.

We investigate a monitoring procedure for the early detection of parameter changes in location-scale time series models. We introduce a detector for monitoring procedure based on modified residual cumulative sum (CUSUM). The asymptotic properties of the monitoring procedure are established under the null and alternative hypotheses. Simulation results and data analysis are also provided for illustration.

확산 모형은 원래 연속적인 확산과정을 개발하기 위하여 도입되었으나, 기본적인 확산 모형은 많은 제약과 가정을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문은 잘못된 추정의 가능성을 줄이기 위해 많은 제약하에서 유용한 데이터가 별로 많지 않은 상태에서의 파라메터 추정을 시도하였으며, DSM 프로그램의 효과를 예측하기 위하여 피이드 백 방법과 비선형 최소자승법에 의한 파라메터를 추정하였다. 또한 DSM에 많은 영향을 끼치는 광고효과를 반영하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 마케팅 변수에 의존하는 수정된 확산모델을 이용하여 수요관리의 모니터링 시스템을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 고효율 조명기기에 의한 사례 연구를 통하여 DSM 효과에 의한 전력수요 변화를 추정하였으며, 우리나라 처럼 축적된 자료의 양이 적은 상황에서 초반 추정 오류의 가능성을 줄일 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

RPC(Remote Procedure Call)는 프로그래밍이 쉽고 데이터 표현이 기계 독립적이므로 네트워크 파일 시스템등의 시스템 프로그래밍에서만 아니라 응용 프로그래밍에서도 활발히 사용되고 있다. 그러나 복잡하고 다양한 기능의 최신 프로그램을 개발하는데는 미흡한 점이 많고, 다른 RPC 표준간의 호환성이 결여되어 있어 유지보수가 어려운 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 객체 랩퍼 기술에 입각한 CORBA 계층을 추가함으로써 RPC 프로그래밍을 수정하는 단점을 해결하고 , 기존 RPC 프로그램을 재사용하면서 다중 플랫폼에서 RPC 프로그램을 연동하고 객체 지향 프로그래밍에 의한 재사용과 유지보수성을 높일 수 있는 WDL(Wrapper Definition Language)와 랩퍼 클래스 자동생성기를 제안한다. 사용사례로 기존 파일 전송 RPC 서버 프로그램을 랩핑해서 Unix, Windows 95 및 웹상에서 CORBA클라이언트와 연동할 수 있음을 보인다. 이 과정에서 RPC 프로그램의 구조적 프로그래밍에서 객체지향 프로그래밍으로의 전환이 가능하므로 객체 지향 방법론의 장점인 높은 재사용성과 유지보수성을 가질 수 있고 기존 RPC 서버 프로그램의 수정 없이 사용 가능할수 있다.
