The concept of 'cultural diversity' has emerged as a key concept and the buzzword of the 21st century's international community in education, science and culture sectors since UNESCO's "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity"(2001). However, the appropriate and correct implementation in educational level and in a subject scale can not be pursued without special understanding of multilateral implications of UNESCO's 'cultural diversity' because the concept of cultural diversity has been distributed to various applications according to individual scholars and institutions before the "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity" was released. The ultimate orientation of 'cultural diversity', the concept presented in "World Declaration on Cultural Diversity" is 'world peace' and 'the coexistence of various cultures of mankind'. In this regard, 'cultural diversity' has special 'educational' meaning to the next generation as well as the current one. Also, it is meaningful to take educational practices on cultural diversity in case of the "World Geography" subject in view of that international society of geographical education came up with "International Declaration of Geographical Education for Cultural Diversity" in the IGU(International Geographical Union) 2000. From this point of view, the author proposes that the 'cultural diversity' concept implies four folds of meanings as an ideology, as a symbol, as a vision, and as a epistemological turn based on the analysis of literatures on 'cultural diversity' of UNESCO, then presents an educational practice centering around the examples and its usage of teaching materials of cultural diversity.

The programming education of non-computer major undergraduates aims to increase the their problem-solving and coding skills so that the skills can be applied to various fields and motivate them to continuously study computer or programming. However, it difficult for them to recognize the necessity of programming knowledge and to find out how it can be used in their major. Therefore, the professor needs to give students a full explanation of their roles to play. In this paper, we revisit the necessity of programming knowledge for non-computer major undergraduates by looking at the convergence cases of ICT technology and the humanities and social arts fields. And we propose an instruction direction of programming learning for them.

The purpose of this study is to analyze korean youths' educational experiences and their global leadership competencies and to present good methods for global leadership education. In this global society, students are required to be proactive global leaders. To achieve the research goal, I used the methods of literature review and survey, To conduct the survey, I selected 200 9-grade students in Kyonggie Do. The questionaires were composed of 2 parts such as global perspective and cultural literacy, The research results are as follows. First, students should have a vision as a global citizen. Second, they should develop problem-solving skills of global issues, Third, other cultures learning should be strengthened. Fourth, diversification of cultural diversity education should be accomplished. Fifth, education of awareness of global society, global issues, and other cultures rather than only languages learning for global leadership education should be accomplished. Sixth, global education in geography education should be strengthened.

대망의 21세기 새천년 첫장이 열렸다. 지난 한세기 역사의 격랑과 함께 해온 한국건축은 새천년의 시작과 함께 새로운 미래 설계에 나서고 있다. 많은 이들이 눈앞에 펼쳐진 새시대는 정보와 문화가 주도하는 글로벌시대가 될 것이라지만 과연 인류 자신들 조차도 앞날의 변화 발전 속도를 정확히 예측못하는 불확실성의 시대를 맞아 한국건축은 무엇을 준비해야 하며 어떻게 변신을 서둘러야 하는 것인가? 더욱이 오늘날 대륙간 경제블럭화와 무역장벽의 철폐 등 국제질서의 새로운 흐름들이 국경없는 무한경쟁시대의 도래를 재촉하는 가운데 세계 건축계에 새로운 체제개편의 바람이 불고 있고, 국내적으로는 건축수요의 다양화와 함께 건축의 경제 문화적 가치의 극대화를 요구받는 사례가 크게 늘고 있어 이들 안팎의 흐름들이 우리 앞날에 적지않은 영향을 가져다줄 것으로 예상된다. 건축의 삶의 그릇이자 사회적 자산으로서 그 시대를 가장 적절하게 반영하는 틀이 되기 위해서는 이러한 시대적 변화의 흐름을 지나칠 수 없을 뿐만 아니라 시대의 반영물로서 건축문화의 기본틀을 형성하고 발전시키는 일은 건축인들의 절대적 사명인 것이다. 따라서 이제 새천년의 출발점에 선 한국건축은 오늘의 자기모습을 진지하게 뒤돌아보는 자세로부터 시작해 발전적 미래상을 정립해 나가야 한다. 이에 본지에서는 지난호에 이어 '21세기 한국건축의 비전'을 주제로 특집 시리즈를 마련해 건축 각분야의 전문가와 함께 다각적 시가에서 오늘의 우리건축을 진단하고 이를 바탕으로 새천년의 비전을 조망해 본다.

This study investigates strategies to increase learning efficiency for programming subjects to which flipped learning teaching method is applied targeting non-major students. Design a learner-centered flipped learning-based programming class and get strategies for effective application methods for field application. Also, the purpose is to explore the efficient application of the flipped learning teaching method to the computational thinking subject of liberal arts classes at this university. By applying the flipped learning teaching method, one of the innovative teaching methods, we consider ways to improve the quality of programming subject classes, the efficiency of practical education, and the improvement of learner achievement. The purpose of this study is to design an efficient learning model for software education targeting non-majors by applying various teaching methods and learning design models convergence away from the traditional teaching method.

Recently, the necessity of education for developing the capability to create new knowledge and creatively solve problems through cooperation and integration with various disciplines is increased. And a lot of universities carry out software capability education to bring up talents capable of creative fusion with other major and software knowledge. To bring up talents capable of creative fusion through software education for non-computer majors, it is important for learners to develop ability to solve problems by using and applying various knowledge for themselves. Therefore, this study explores the possibility of convergence between software and learner's major fields by analyzing software projects made by non-computer major freshmen through software class and the results of pre-post surveys of the class and proposes the future direction of software education for them.

Control drones, which are recently classified as smart agricultural machines in the agricultural field, are striving to build smart control and automatic control systems by combining hardware and software in order to shorten working hours and increase the effectiveness of control in the aging era of rural areas. In this paper, the characteristics of the nozzle dedicated to the control drone were analyzed as a basic study for the establishment of management control and automatic control systems. In order to consider various variables such as the type of various drone models, controller, wind, flight speed, flight altitude, weather conditions, and UAV pesticide types, related studies are needed to be able to present the drug spraying criteria in consideration of the characteristics and versatility of the nozzle. Therefore, to enable the consideration of various variables, flow analysis (CFD) simulation was conducted based on the self-designed nozzle, and the theoretical and experimental values of the droplet distribution were compared and analyzed through water reduction experiments. In the future, we intend to calculate accurate scattering in consideration of various variables according to drone operation and use it in management control and automatic control systems.

This research is a case study of 'One City One Book: San Francisco Reads' (Hereafter OCOB), which is an 'One Book' community reading promotion campaign, sponsored by San Francisco Public Library in California. In this research, the objective of OCOB as 'One Book' program, the characteristics of selected books, and major programs and events from 2005 to 2024 were examined. OCOB, while sharing a typical objective of 'One Book' campaign, which pursues to form a city-wide book club and promote reading and talking about 'One Book' among citizens, selected books which reflected cultural and ethnic diversities of San Francisco and its civic identity. San Franciscans reacted to the efforts of OCOB by actively participating in programs and events and borrowing the selected books. For the past 20 years, OCOB has demonstrated the continuity, consistency, self-reliance, and independence as a 'One Book' program, which pursues to better understand diversities and integrate communities, and is expected to continue as an important initiative, which is a strategic part of 'Cultural Amplifier' and 'Community Catalyzer' for 'Vision 2030' of SFPL.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between educational attainment, history, tourism, psychological benefits, educational benefits, and hedonic benefits on visitors 'intention, and to provide Suwon Hwaseong' We propose a suggestion point. The implications of this study are as follows. First, the participants of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress are not only aware of the fact that the meaning of Mars is simply a stone build-up, but also a place to learn Korean history, experience various cultural experiences and attractions, Should be developed and made available to tourists. Second, the officials of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress should develop educational materials to understand the history of Mars as the representative history of Korean history. Furthermore, contents that show the superiority of Suwon Hwaseong in comparison with various world cultures It is necessary to provide policy support so that it can be developed and provided. Third, the officials of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress will have to worry about the development of culture prototype that can be excavated as a tourism factor when visitors visit and how to provide contents. In order to make sure that tourists do not inconvenience during sightseeing, It should be enough. Finally, the officials of Suwon Hwaseong should provide various entertainment factors around Hwaseong, and should try to create a desire to visit Hwaseong through a systematic PR method.

This article examines the role and influence of educational achievement on Korean society and its future. Four major factors that associated with and influence educational achievement in Korea (i.e., trust, efficacy beliefs, quality of life, and societal transformation) are reviewed. First, the role of educational achievement on establishing a basis for trust in Korean society is examined. By reviewing studies of perception of Korean society, people and institutions, the importance of establishing trust in Korean society is outlined. Second, the role of efficacy belief in promoting educational achievement is examined. The importance of collective efficacy, at the adolescent, adult and political levels is emphasized. In addition, the concept and application of self-efficacy for teachers and parents is reviewed. Third, the role and influence of educational achievement on quality of life is outlined. Studies indicate that educational achievement plays an important role in improving the quality of life. The pressure to achieve, however, can have negative impact on stress and mental health and support systems need to be developed to alleviate their impact. Fourth, the future and prospects for Korean society through educational achievement is discussed. Through education, the importance of bridging the divide with North Korea is an important agenda for the future of Korean society. Finally, the importance of indigenous psychological perspective in understanding Korean society and providing direction for the future is discussed.
