Effect of Calcium Hydroxide on the Microhardness of Root Dentin of Primary Tooth (수산화칼슘 근관충전제의 적용이 유치 치근상아질의 미세경도에 미치는 영향)

  • Calcium hydroxide mixture medicaments can nearly be considered to be the ideal primary tooth filling material. However, long-term application of calcium hydroxide combinations as an intra canal medicament softens dentin. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of calcium hydroxide on the microhardness of root dentin of primary tooth. For the study, 60 extractedprimary incisors were divided into 3 groups (no medicament, calcium hydroxide/iodorform mixture, and calcium hydroxide/distilled water mixture). After the cleansing and shaping of canals, calcium hydroxide medicaments were applied and stored for different periods of time (1, 7, 30, 90 days). The root was horizontally sectioned into 2 mm thick specimens and the microhardness was measured using Vickers microhardness tester. The results were as follows : Root dentin microhardness of primary teeth decreased with long term exposure to calcium hydroxide medicaments according to the experimental period and showed statistically significance (p < 0.05). Root dentin microhardness of primary tooth filled with calcium hydroxide mixed with distilled water showed more decrease than filled with Vitapex and showed statistically significance (p < 0.05). Root dentin microhardness of a control group without exposure to calcium hydroxide decreased according to the experimental period and showed statistically significance (p < 0.05).

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the fill slope failure possibility of forest road in Metamorphic rock area using fuzzy theory which is non-linear model. The results were summarized as follows. The potential slope failure by nine factors was mainly occurred under the such conditions as the total road width ranging from 4m to 5m, longitudinal gradients below $2^{\circ}$, fill slope length greater than 8m, fill slope gradients steeper than $40^{\circ}$, road on ridge position, soil types with weathered rock, slope gradients steeper than $40^{\circ}$, aspect of NW, and longitudinal slope form in convexity. The weight of importance by factors on fill slope failure was ranked in the order of fill slope length, fill slope gradient, road position, soil type, aspect and longitudinal slope form. The analysis showed that the fill slope failure possibility was low with less than 0.485 of the fuzzy integral value and high with more than 0.620 of the value. And the discriminant accuracy was 74.6%. The analysis with six out of nine factors indicated that the possibility was low with less than 0.441 of the fuzzy integral value and high with more than 0.583 of the value. In this case, the discriminant accuracy was slightly increased to 78.0%.

Estimation of Genetic Parameter for Carcass Traits According to MTDFREML and Gibbs Sampling in Hanwoo(Korean Cattle) (MTDFREML 방법과 Gibbs Sampling 방법에 의한 한우의 육질형질 유전모수 추정)

  • The objective of this study was to compare of genetic parameter estimates on carcass traits of Hanwoo(Korean Cattle) according to modeling with Gibbs sampler and MTDFREML. The data set consisted of 1,941 cattle records with 23,058 animals in pedigree files at Hanwoo Improvement Center. The variance and covariance among carcass traits were estimated via Gibbs sampler and MTDFREML algorithms. The carcass traits considered in this study were longissimus dorsi area, backfat thickness, and marbling score. Genetic parameter estimates using Gibbs sampler and MTDFREML from single-trait analysis were similar with those from multiple-trait analysis. The estimated heritabilities using Gibbs sampler were .52~.54, .54 ~.59, and .42~.44 for carcass traits. The estimated heritabilities using MTDFREML were .41, .52~.53, and .31~.32 for carcass traits. The estimated genetic correlation using Gibbs sampler and MTDFREML of LDA between BF and MS were negatively correlated as .34~.36, .23~.37. Otherwise, genetic correlation between BF and MS was positive genetic correlation as .36~.44. The correlations of breeding value for marbling score between via MTDFREML and via Gibbs sampler were 0.989, 0.996 and 0.985 for LDA, BF and MS respectively.

Water temperature assessment on the small ecological stream under climate change (기후변화에 따른 소하천에서의 수온 모의연구)

  • Water temperature affects physical and biological processes in ecologies on river system and is important conditions for growth rate and spawning of fish species. The objective of this study is to compare models for water temperature during the summer season for the Fourchue River (St-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, Quebec, Canada). For this, three different models, which are CEQUEAU, Auto-regressive Moving Average with eXogenous input and Nonlinear Autoregressive with eXogenous input, were applied and compared. Also, future water temperature in the Fourchue river were simulated and analyzed its result based on the CMIP5 climate models, RCP 2.6, 4.5, 8.5 climate change scenarios. As the result of the study, the water temperature in the Fourchue river are actually changed and median water temperature will increase $0.2{\sim}0.7^{\circ}C$ in June and could decrease by $0.2{\sim}1.1^{\circ}C$ in September. Also, the UILT ($24.9^{\circ}C$) for brook trout are also likely to occurred for several days.

  • 수문 및 수질자료는 일정한 기준에 의한 관측치를 시계열 자료로 기록하거나 전송할 때 다양한 형태의 오차가 발생하게 되며 또한 수문 및 수질자료를 관측하는 측정기기의 고장과 유지관리 등의 어려움으로 다양한 형태의 결측 자료가 발생하고 있다. 이와 더불어 수문 및 수질자료는 시공간적 변동성이 크며 비선형성이 강한 특성을 갖고 있다. 이러한 수문 및 수질 자료를 이용하여 모형을 구축할 경우 다양한 형태의 잡음에 대한 검증 및 잡음저감이 필수적 요건이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 영산강 유역의 본류부를 대표하는 나주지점에 대한 유출량과 총유기탄소(TOC) 농도 및 TOC 부하량 예측모형을 개발하였으며, 이를 위한 방법으로는 잡음저감을 위하여 웨이블렛 변환과 인공신경망을 적용하였다. TOC 부하량 자료는 유출량과 TOC 자료간의 함수로서 표현이 가능함에 따라 유출량 및 TOC 자료가 결측되었을 경우 역함수에 의한 계산으로 결측 자료에 대한 보간이 가능하다. 따라서 본 연구의 주안점은 잠음 저감 및 인공신경망에 의해 최적화된 예측 모형이 결측된 유출량과 TOC 자료에 대한 역함수로 정도있는 유출량과 TOC 자료 생성 가능성을 검토하고자 한다. 본 연구의 적용 결과, 유출량 자료가 결측되었을 경우 TOC 및 TOC 부하량 예측으로 유출량 자료에 대한 간접추정 및 결측 자료에 대한 보간의 정도를 평가한 결과 $R^2$는 0.99 이상의 값을 보였다. 또한, TOC 자료가 결측되었을 경우 역시 $R^2$는 비교적 우수한 0.97 이상의 값을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 유출량 및 TOC, TOC 부하량 예측모형의 개발은 정도있는 유출량 및 TOC 수질 자료의 생성이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.한 물순환 해석을 할 수 있는 기반을 확보 하였으며, 가용한 장 단기간의 관측자료와 물수지 분석 연산식의 추정치를 바탕으로 관측자료에 의한 물수지 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과로 산지 소하천 유역인 설마천 시험유역의 각 수문요소의 물이동간의 정량적인 값을 알 수가 있었으며, 앞으로 추가적이고 지속적인 수문모니터링이 운영되고 물순환 해석 모형에 의한 검증이 수행된다면 정량적인 물순환 관계를 규명할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 이와 관련된 수문요소기술을 확보할 수 있을 것이다.절한 타협과 조정을 필요로 한다. 그러나 절제의 한계를 넘어선다고 생각되거나, 조정의 노력이 불가능하거나, 실패했을 때 폭력적인 행동으로 나타나게 된다. 리차즈(I.A Richards)는 분노와 공포는 일단 겉잡을 수 없는 경향이 있다고 하면서 오늘날 폭력에 대한 요구가 일상의 정서 생활에 있어, 억압을 통한, 빈곤함을 반영하고 있지 않은지 생각해봐야 할 것이라고 충고한다. 조성 가이드라인(안)을 제시하였다.EX>$\ulcorner$세종실록$\lrcorner$(世宗實錄) $\ulcorner$지리지$\lrcorner$(地理志)와의 비교를 해보면 상 중 하품의 통합 9개소가 삭제되어 있고, $\ulcorner$동국여지승람$\lrcorner$(東國與地勝覽) 에서는 자기소와 도기소의 위치가 완전히 삭제되어 있다. 이러한 현상은 첫째, 15세기 중엽 경제적 태평과 함께 백자의 수요 생산이 증가하자 군신의 변별(辨別)과 사치를 이유로 강력하게 규제하여 백자의 확대와 발전에 걸림돌이 되었다. 둘째, 동기(銅器)의 대체품으로 자기를 만들어 충당해야할 강제성 당위성 상실로 인한 자기수요 감

  • The Very Large Marine Structure has been widely used new method of ocean space instead of method for reclamation Therefore, VLFS is proposed to coincide on such request. It can be established regardless of nature of soil and height of water, and stream of flow exists under the floating structure, there is seldom effect in natural environment. Fuertherrnore, it can do easily to do assembly and taking to pieces due to expansion or removal. Based on the regulation by class, VLFS have to possess more than enough structural strength against severe wave loading induced by green sea condition Therefore, There are performed structural simulation as well as experimental test about expected loading scenario in order to examine the safety of structure. Up to now, various examinations based on the strength limit value of the main structural material have been done based on the elasticity response analysis. However, there is little finding about the collapse behavior and the safety when the load that exceeds the collapse of the material acts. In the present study, we investigated the collapse behavior based on the ultimate limit state calculated by FE-analysis.

  • Optimal static load balancing in star network configurations is considered. Three kinds of load balancing direction strategies are considered. First, a job arriving at the peripheral nodes may be processed either where it arrived(origin node) or transferred directly to central node Second, a job arriving at the central node may be processed there, or transferred to lightly loaded peripheral nodes. A nonlinear optimization problem is formulated. Using the optimal solution, an optimal load balancing algorithm is derived for the second load balancing strategy. Third a job arriving at the central node or a peripheral node may be processed either at origin node or transferred to another lightly loaded node (central or peripheral). A load balancing algorithm is derived for the third load balancing strategy. The effects of these three load balancing strategies are compared by numerical experiments. During the conduct of these in numerical experiments, several interesting phenomena were observed. The third load balancing strategy improved performance more than the first two other strategies. The second load balancing strategy, as a whole, resulted in only slightly improved performance. Finally, of the central node has larger processing power than the peripheral nodes, the first and third load balancing strategies produce equal performance improvement.

  • Ship have cutout inner bottom and girder and floor etc. Ship's structure is used much, and structure strength must be situated, but establish new concept when high stress interacts sometimes fatally the area. There is no big problem usually by aim of weight reduction, a person and change of freight, piping etc. Because cutout's existence grow up in this place, and, elastic buckling strength by load causes large effect in ultimate strength. Therefore, stiffened perforated plate considering buckling strength and ultimate strength is one of important design criteria which must examine when decide structural concept at initial design. Therefore, and, reasonable buckling strength about perforated stiffened plate need to ultimate strength limited design . Calculated ultimate strength varied several web height and cutout's dimension, and thickness in this investigated data. Used program(ANSYS) applied F.E.A code based on finite element method.

  • This paper deals with the cancellation performance of loop back interference signal in the case of multihop relay of 16-QAM received signal at the USN radio network. For this, it is necessary to the exchange of information with long distance located station by means of the relay function between the node in the USN environment. In the relay node, the loop-back interference signal which the retransmitting signal is feedback to the receiver side due to the antenna of transmitter and receiver are co-used or very colsely located or using the nonlinear device. Due to this signal, the performance of USN system are degraded which are using the limited resource of frequency and power. For improve this, it is necessary to applying the adaptive signal processing algorithm in order to cancellating the unwanted loop-back interference signal at the frontend of receiver in relaying node, we can get the better system and multi hop performance. In the adaptive signal processing, we considered the 16-QAM signal which has a good spectral efficiency, firstly, than, the QR-Array RLS algorithm was used that has a fairly good convergence property and the solving the finite length problem in the H/W implementation. Finaly, we confirmed that the good elimination performanc was confirmed by computer simulation in the learing cuved and received signal constellation compared to the conventional RLS.

  • The FUel Rod Analysis(FURA) code is developed using two-dimensional finite element methods for axisymmetric and plane stress analysis of fuel rod. It predicts the thermal and mechanical behavior of fuel rod during normal and load follow operations. To evaluate the exact temperature distribution and the inner gas pressure, the radial deformation of pellet and clad, the fission gas release are considered over the full-length of fuel rod. The thermal element equation is derived using Galerkin's techniques. The displacement element equation is derived using the principle of virtual works. The mechanical analysis can accommodate various components of strain: elastic, plastic, creep and thermal strain as well as strain due to swelling, relocation and densification. The 4-node quadratic isoparametric elements are adopted, and the geometric model is confined to a half-pellet-height region with the assumption that pellet-pellet interaction is symmetrical. The pellet cracking and crack healing, pellet-cladding interaction are modelled. The Newton-Raphson iteration with an implicit algorithm is applied to perform the analysis of non-linear material behavior accurately and stably. The pellet and cladding model has been compared with both analytical solutions and experimental results. The observed and predicted results are in good agreement. The general behavior of fuel rod is calculated by axisymmetric system and the cladding behavior against radial crack is used by plane stress system. The sensitivity of strain aging of PWR fuel cladding tube due to load following is evaluated in terms of linear power, load cycle frequency and amplitude.
