Proportional-Integral-Derivative Evaluation for Enhancing Performance of Genetic Algorithms (유전자 알고리즘의 성능향상을 위한 비례-적분-미분 평가방법)

  • This paper proposes a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) evaluation method for enhancing performance of genetic algorithms. In PID evaluation, the fitness of individuals is evaluated by not only the fitness derived from an evaluation function, but also the parents fitness of each individual and the minimum and maximum fitness from initial generation to previous generation. This evaluation decreases the probability that the genetic algorithms fall into a premature convergence phenomenon and results in enhancing the performance of genetic algorithms. We experimented our evaluation method with typical numerical function optimization problems. It was found from extensive experiments that out evaluation method can increase the performance of genetic algorithms greatly. This evaluation method can be easily applied to the other types of genetic algorithms for improving their performance.

  • In this paper, an improved method is proposed to eliminate the chattering for Sliding Mode Controller. The differential-calculus of a switching function is converged to a particular constant or the proportional term so that the chattering in transient state is eliminated in the conventional method. However, by using the improved method, it is converged to its proportional-integral term so that the chattering is eliminated in transient state and steady state both. The computer simulation for brushless DC motor speed controller is used to compare the improved method with the conventional method and to verify the useful effect of the method in this paper.

  • 화력발전소 보일러의 각종 공정은 대부분 비례 적분 미분 제어기에 의해 제어되어 왔다. 이러한 비례 미분 적분 제어기의 최적튜닝은 공정에 있어 가장 중요한 부분 중 하나라고 할 수 있다. 또한 보일러 제어는 다중의 입력과 루프로 구성되어져 있어 이를 튜닝하기가 어려워 현재까지의 최적튜닝은 튜닝전문가의 숙련도에 의해 결정되어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 고급공정제어기(Advanced Process Control, APC)를 개발하는 과정과 이를 이용해 최종적으로 보일러 제어기에서 제어하고자 하는 대상에 대한 응답특성을 간단한 튜닝을 통해 구현하는 과정에 대하여 설명하고 그 결과를 시뮬레이터를 통해 시험함으로써 검증해 보이고자 한다.

노심 동특성 분석 정확도 및 성능 향상을 위한 Time Step 제어방법 개선

  • 동특성 분석 코드 시스템 PANBOX2는 시간에 대한 미분을 Implicit Euler 방법을 사용하여 근사한다. 이 경우 Local Truncation Error는 중성자속의 이차 미분에 비례한다. Time-Step-Doubling 기법을 이용하여 Local Truncation Error의 근사치를 구하고 이를 이용하여 Time Step Size를 조절해 주는 방법을 동특성 분석 코드 시스템 PANBOX2에 도입하였다. LRA와 NEACRP 제어봉 인출사고 검증문제에 대한 분석 결과, PANBOX2 시스템의 기존 방법에 비해 효과적으로 Time Step을 제어하였으며 보다 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In recent years, a PID controller has been used as a major control method in real control processes. This controller requires a determination of PID control gains. But it is difficult to select the best gains theoretically. Thus there have been many approaches to determine them empirically Most of them are based on experience and knowledge. In this paper, we proposed a tuning method of the PID Parameters by using neural network. To show effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation of DC motor and one link manipulator position control is carried out.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy controller using thermoelectric for temperature environmental tester is developed. The new structure of fuzzy controller based temperature environmental tester is proposed and implemented to maintain a stable temperature and improve temperature change speed. In order to evaluate the efficiency, an experiment is setup to compare PID controller with our proposed controller. The experimental results, we proved that our proposed fuzzy controller has better performance than PID controller.

  • This paper concerns attitude controller design for a 3-staged launch vehicle which has movable nozzle TVC systems for all stages as its control systems. The PD-type control gains are determined by shaping the corresponding closed-loop natural frequencies for the purpose of guaranteeing the required stability margin. Bending filters are also designed to stabilize the bending modes by using parametric optimization method. The designed controllers are verified using six degree of freedom flight simulations in MATLAB.

  • A multi-wire proportional counter with large sensitive area was designed and constructed considering diameter of anode wire. its material and space. A preamplifier connecting detector to main amplifier or counter was also designed and constructed for measurement output pulse from multi-wire proportional counter. The preamplifier was composed of charge-sensitive differential circuit. clipping circuit and amplification circuit. To test the performance of this equipment, terminal output pulse from the preamplifier was measured and compared with noise For these tests $^{239}Pu(360 Bq)\;and\; ^{90}Sr/^{90}Y(250 Bq)$ were used as radiation sources. The noise ingredient contributing to the maximum amplitude(180mV from $^{239}Pu$ and 200 mV from $^{90}Sr/^{90}Y$) was found to be very small(8 mV) Piled up pulse occurring at the output pulse of charge-sensitive differential circuit was measured as an independent pulse since this affected the amplification in the clipping circuit and amplification circuit. This information can be used to improve the loss of measurement due to piled up pulse.
