Opportunities and Future Directions of Human-Metaverse Interaction (휴먼-메타버스 인터랙션의 기회와 발전방향)

  • In the COVID-19 pandemic era, non-contact services were demanded and the use of extended reality and metaverse services increased rapidly in various applications. In this paper, we analyze Gather.town, ifland, Roblox, and ZEPETO metaverse platforms in terms of user interaction, avatar-based interaction, and virtual world authoring. Especially, we distinguish interactions among user input techniques that occur in the real world, avatar representation techniques to represent users in the virtual world, and interaction types that create a virtual world through user participation. Based on this work, we highlight the current trends and needs of human-metaverse interaction and forecast future opportunities and research directions.

Analysis of VR Game Trends using Text Mining and Word Cloud -Focusing on STEAM review data- (텍스트마이닝과 워드 클라우드를 활용한 VR 게임 트렌드 분석 -스팀(steam) 리뷰 데이터를 중심으로-)

  • With the development of fourth industrial revolution-related technology and increased demands for non-face-to-face services, VR games attract attention. This study collected VR game review data from an online game platform STEAM and analyzed chronical trends using text mining and word cloud analysis. According to the results, experience and perceived cost were major trends from 2016 to 2017, increased demands for FPS and rhythm games were from 2018 to 2019, and story and immersion were from 2020 to 2021. It aims to contribute to expanding the base of VR games by identifying the keywords VR users take interest in by period.

  • Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, all countries suffered huge losses in tourism income, and tourism income plunged compared to 2019. UNWTO reportedly had about 379 million international tourists last year, down 74% from 1.459 billion in 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore, the number of posts in 2009 (956 million) decreased by 37 million.

  • 5세대(5G) 이동통신망의 보급과 코로나19 여파로 비대면 시대가 열리면서 가상 증강현실(VR·AR)을 기반으로 한 '실감(XR·Extended Reality)경제가 본격화 되었다. 가상증강현실의 적용분야로는 게임·영화 등 엔터테인먼트, 제조업, 쇼핑 및 전자상거래, 병원·의료기기, 고객서비스, 지식서비스교육 분야 등이 있다. 본 논문은 VR·AR&교육콘텐츠를 키워드로 최근 3년(2018.1.1.~2020.12.31.)간 중앙지, 경제지 등 54개 언론사 기사를 빅카인즈와 데이터랩을 이용하여 관계도 분석, 월간 키워드 트렌드, 연관어 분석을 하였다. 'VR, AR, 에듀테크'를 키워드로 뉴스 검색결과 63,959건 중 '에듀테크' 검색결과 2018년 632건, 2019년 1043건, 2020년 2389건으로 해마다 급 상승하였다. '(AR+VR)AND 교육콘텐츠'에 대한 검색 결과 연관성(키워드 빈도수)이 높은 키워드로는 증강현실(120), 가상현실(116), 인공지능(114), 에듀테크(100), 코로나19(66), 실감형(65), 아이들(61), VR·AR(56), ICT(35), 빅데이터(25) 순으로 가상·증강현실 기술 발전, 코로나19의 장기화, 교육의 효율성으로 에듀테크 분야의 활용도가 급격히 증가함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 2020년 7월 정부는 포스트 코로나 시대를 선언하며, 한국판 뉴딜 정책을 발표하였다. 한국판 뉴딜은 디지털인프라 구축, 비대면 산업육성, SOC 디지털화를 기본방향으로 내세웠으며 빅데이터, 인공지능(AI), 사물인터넷(IoT) 등 4차산업 핵심기술의 육성방안을 제시하였다. 최근 인천공항은 한국판 뉴딜 정부정책에 부응하기 위해 인천공항 K-뉴딜 프로젝트를 추진 중이며, 세부 전략과제로 자산관리의 디지털전환을 위한 IoT기반 스마트 자산관리시스템을 구축 중이다. IoT기반 스마트자산관리시스템은 인천공항에 위치한 실내외 이동형 자산에 대해 끊김없는 위치정보를 제공하는 시스템으로 기존 시스템(RFID) 대비 약 4억 원의 인적, 물적 자원을 절감하는 효과를 나타낼 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 IoT기반 스마트 자산관리시스템의 핵심기술인 실내외 연속측위 스마트 트래커와 네트워크의 구성, 저전력 위치정보 제공방법을 제시한다.

  • Biometric technology is a next-generation information security technology that provides reliability and convenience.   • Along with the rapid development of ICT, health management is continuing based on various smart healthcare devices in an aging society and non-face-to-face era caused by COVID-19. In this paper, a heart rate monitor was manufactured using the DF Robot SEN0203 heart rate sensor based on Arduino so that you can check your health and maintain a healthy life by measuring the heart rate per minute in real time to support personalized health management. The device manufactured through this thesis can be used in various ways, such as a wristband or a smart watch.

A Study on Consumers' Intention to Continue Use of Unmanned Stores in the Non-face-to-face Era : Focusing on the Moderating Effect of COVID-19 Social Risk (비대면시대 소비자의 무인점포 지속적이용의도에 관한 연구: COVID-19 사회적 위험의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Recently, the emergence of new technologies caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution caused a great change not only in the overall society but also in the retail industry. In the retail industry, unmanned stores based on new technologies have emerged, changing the consumption behavior of consumers. In particular, the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, which appeared in December 2019, raised social risks, and as a result of this, the beginning of the non-face-to-face era, interest in unmanned stores is increasing. In this study, the effects of benefits factors (perceived usefulness, perceived economics, perceived enjoyment, relative advantages) and sacrifice factors (perceived risk, technicality) perceived by unmanned store users on continuous use intention through perceived value. In addition, it is a study to test through empirical analysis what role the social risk from COVID-19 plays in the process of consumption through unmanned stores. The purpose of this study is to provide strategic implications for the activation of unmanned stores in the non-face-to-face era. In this study, a total of 293 copies of data were collected for users of unmanned stores for hypothesis testing. In addition, the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 statistical programs. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, it was found that the perceived benefits (perceived usefulness, perceived economics, perceived playfulness, and relative advantages) of unmanned stores all had a significant positive effect on perceived value. Second, it was found that all perceived sacrifices (perceived risk, technicality) of unmanned stores had a significant negative effect on perceived value. Third, it was found that the perceived value of unmanned stores had a significant positive effect on the intention to continue use. Finally, the social risk from COVID-19 has been shown to play a moderating role when the perceived sacrifice of unmanned stores affects the perceived value.
