The effects of managers' stock-option value on corporate payout polish (경영자 보유 스톡옵션 가치가 기업의 배당정책에 미치는 영향)

  • The paper explores how corporate payout polish depends on managers' stock-option value. Specifically, this paper examine the relationship between managers' stock-option value and the ratio of stock repurchase, and analyze the relationship between price-incentive intensity of managers' stock-option and the ratio of stock repurchase. The hypotheses mentioned above are empirically tested using 137 firms listed on the Korean Exchange(KRX). OLS and Tobit regression method are used to above hypotheses. The results of this paper are as follows: First, as managers' stock option value increases, future the ratio of stock repurchase increase. Second, as the price-incentives intensity of managers' stock option increases, the patio of stock repurchase also increase. Overall, The above results imply that managers with stock option prefer stock repurchase over cash dividends to increase private benefits.

  • Recently, it is used to apply various improved methods to determine the cause of traffic accidents. However, most of vehicle black box usually start to store the video information by an event trigger in case that the impact value at that time exceeds the threshold impact value as compared the threshold impact value saved in advance with the current impact value. there are problems with above method that a lot video information should be saved in the memory card of the vehicle black box, and the user should delete the unwanted video information every time because of unclassified video store. In this paper, we propose the ontology-based context aware algorithm that the vehicle black box recognize the situation, and then remove the video data with a low weighting factor by itself for efficient memory management.

Microstructural observation of artificial aggregates at various sintering atmospheres (소성 분위기에 따른 인공골재의 미세구조 관찰)

  • The aggregates made of clay, carbon and $Fe_2O_3$ were prepared to investigate the mechanism of black core formation and the property differences at various sintering atmospheres. The aggregates were sintered at oxidized, neutralized and reduced atmospheres. The specific gravity, absorption rate, percent of black core area were measured at various compositions and sintering atmospheres. The aggregates sintered at oxidized atmosphere showed clear border between shell and black core area. Hence, the aggregates sintered at reduced and neutralized atmospheres showed only black core area in the cross-section of the aggregates. The specific gravity of the aggregates sintered at reduced atmosphere increased with increasing carbon contents and that was the lowest of all aggregates sintered at various atmospheres. Adsorption rate increased with increasing carbon contents at all atmospheres.
