A coal handling machine is a type of equipment used for loading coal, the main material in a steam power plant, along a conveyer belt from a ship, and is placed after the driving chain bucket. However, studies on the boom hoisting cylinder, which is a hydraulic system used to control the angle of the boom based on loading location, indicate that domestic models are insufficient, and are thereby often substituted with a foreign product. In this study, a technique for analyzing the contact pressure in a thick-walled cylinder was established by comparing the contact pressure, which is calculated theoretically based on the results obtained from FEM simulation, and by checking whether the working oil is leaking from the boom hoisting cylinder using a v-seal. In addition, the driving motion was simulated according to the strokes of the cylinder, and the structural stability was verified under the maximum output conditions.

This study aims to redefine Vlog, ASMR, and Muk-bang contents as 'Need Fulfillment Video Contents,' which are emerging as major genres among the video contents. And this study explores the relationships between consumers' motives, viewing satisfaction, and consumers' characteristics such as demographic characteristics, big five personality traits, and individualism-collectivism tendencies in terms of uses and gratifications theory. Statistical analysis techniques such as factor analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were used to analyze 441 samples. As a result, age, income level, and collectivism were found to influence consumers' choice of Need Fulfillment Video Content genre. It was also found that the motivation of using Need Fulfillment Video Contents consisted of five factors: self-assessment and improvement, sensory stimulation and relaxation, entertainment, escapism and passing time, and following trends. Also, each usage motive influenced the viewing satisfaction in various ways. Based on the results of the analyses, the study concludes with discussion of the academic significance and practical implications for Need Fulfillment Video Contents industry development.

The study has planned to analyze the most typical specification validation in Korea and the other countries, which shows the well-formed and schema validation, in purpose to enhance users' conveniences. Also, we suggested the validation system to provide the information compatibility regarding to application programs for non-expert. The featured KML specification supported by the VWorld 3D Desktop and the Google Earth. Based on this above estimation, the system has been designed to inform potential problems and the applicability in 3D Desktop and Google Earth for the user. The KML information passed through the proposed validation is simply expressed on the map, so as instructed the information on the program selection and additional details instruct users as a text file. When not being suitable for the proposed program, another program can be considered, and the problems which may be occurred are also announced to increase the compatibility of KML.

This study explored the effects of recent 'single life' media contents on the spread of singlehood culture for Korean youth. Extant research on the changing trends across present-centered vs. future-oriented lifestyles had focused mainly on demographic or sociological factors. "Lifestyle transforming (entertainment) reality contents" perspective suggests that reality contents revealing one's personal daily life provides not just entertaining enjoyment but also and more importantly meaningful life-changing experiences for viewers. Given the dependency of single household youth on media use, it is expected that 'singlehood life' media contents such as reality television and YouTube Vlog would have greater influence on viewers' own reality and lifestyles. Survey results indicate that viewership of 'singlehood life' contents showed significant impacts on youth viewers' identification and unmarriedness, as well as present-centered and future-oriented lifestyles. Theoretical and practical implications of these results were discussed.

The V-world, korean type spatial information open platform, provides various services to easily utilize 2D, 3D map and administrative information of the country. Among them, V-world 3D map service, modeled in individual building unit, require requests for each building model file and the draw calls for drawing models on the screen by the request. This causes a large number of model requests and draw calls to occur that increase the latency occurring during the transmission and conversion process between the central processing unit(CPU) and the graphic processing unit(GPU), which lead to the performance degradation of the 3D map service. In this paper, we propose a performance improvement plan to reduce the performance degradation of 3D map service caused by multiple model requests and draw calls. Therefore, we tried to reduce the number of requests and draw calls for the model file by applying a 3D tile model that combined multiple building models to single tile. In addition, we applied the quadtree algorithm to reduce the time required to load the model file by shortening the retrieval time of the model. This is expected to contribute to improving the performance of 3D map service of V-world.

In this study, the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities were compared for the extracts of non-fermented Ligustrum japonicum fruits (LJF) and fermented counterparts. U se of Latilactobacillus curvatus (L. curvatus) and Weissella minor (W. minor), isolated from the Jeju Chromis notata, as fermented strains led to the extracts of LJF-LC and LJF-WM in this experiment. The yield of each fermented extract (LJF-LC and LJF-WM) was 40.5 ~ 46.0%, higher than 29.5% of non-fermented extract (LJF). As a result of an activity experiment using RAW 264.7 macrophages stimulated by lipopolysaccaride (LPS), it was confirmed that LJF-WM, a fermented extract, has an excellent effect of inhibiting NO production in a concentration-dependent manner without cytotoxicity. Upon the screening of DPPH and ABTS⁺ radical scavenging activities, the fermented LJF-LC and LJF-WM showed comparable to the non-fermented LJF. In the study of cell protection effect using HaCaT keratinocytes damaged by hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), the fermented LJF-WM indicated protective effect against oxidative stress. In addition, quantitative analysis of a major constituent salidroside by HPLC indicated about 15.6 mg/g for the LJF-LC and 13.9 mg/g for the LJF-WM, which were higher than that of non-fermented LJF (12.0 mg/g). Based on these results, it was suggested that the fermented extract from L. japonicum fruits could be used as a natural cosmetics material with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects.

This paper investigates how Mind map, Concept map, and Vee diagram facilitates learning mathematics. It also analyzes characteristics, structure, how to make a mall, the possible ways of use and its implications in detail for each map and provides how they can be used for learning mathematics. Mind map is one of most effective tools to make man's thinking power stronger and use the given time as the new way of learning mathematics. Concept map provides the various concepts learned by students more visually with a structured format. As a last, Vee diagram began with the question to explore for the given situation as the tool which is effective in doing exploring and making knowledge acquired vivid in students mind.

The ouput power of wave energy system in buoy is determined according to the inner diameter of oscillating water column and flow resistance. The increase of adhered shellfish inside the water column leads to decrease the inner diameter of wave energy converter. Influx loss of seawater reduces the efficiency of output power in the wave generation system. In this paper, the test result of AFS characteristic is described for preventing the deposition with shellfish and etc. The current of anode is controlled by buck converter, and the control algorithm developed for AFS in buoy. The experimental results is shown excellent preventing capapbility of AFS in buoy.

The portal is conceptualized as a discovery gateway to facilitate the communication and sharing of geographic data and information. Generally, Geospatial portal serve the different function and service according to the operational agents and goal. It was shown that Geospatial Portal might be constructed, based on the integration of the public data and Geospatial data portal, OpenAPI, shared Cloud Infrastructure. Ultimately, this study suggests the analysis results for Geospatial Information Prortal trends and contribute to the future development of Geospatial Information Open Platform(called Vworld).
