A study on relationship among Love Marks, Brand Identification, Brand Equity & Behavior Intention (관광목적지의 러브마크, 브랜드 동일시, 브랜드자산 및 행동의도와의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the causal relationship between the brand, the brand equity and brand equity of a tourist destination. The effect of love mark on self identification is that the relationship between love mark performance and self-identification time is significant, and that of love mark is in the order of self identification. Trust mark of love mark has a significant relationship with self identification. The relationship between brand intimacy and brand quality and the relationship between trust and brand quality were significant in relation to the brand mark, but brand mark was not significant. In addition, in the relationship between brand value and love-mark, there is a significant relationship between performance and brand value, relationship between intimacy and brand value, and performance is not significant in brand value. There was a significant relationship between gender and behavioral intention. The relationship between gender identity and behavioral intention was positively related to brand equity.

The Moderating Effects of Local & Global Brand on the Relationship between Brand Equity and Behavioral Intention in Franchised Hamburger Restaurant (프랜차이즈 햄버거전문점의 브랜드자산과 행동의도와의 관계에서 국내외 브랜드의 조절효과 검증 연구)

  • This study aimed to research the moderating effects of local & global brand on the relationship between brand equity and behavioral intention in franchised hamburger restaurant. This study intended (1) to analyze the factors of brand equity in franchised hamburger restaurant, (2) to research the effect of brand equity on behavioral intention, (3) to research the moderating effects of local & global brand on the relationship between brand equity and behavioral intention. Data were collected from undergraduates who visited the nationwide hamburger restaurants by face-to-face interview. The questionnaire was distributed of the 300 copies and used 253 in the analysis. The results of this study revealed that (1) the factors of the brand equity were brand awareness, brand image and brand loyalty, (2) brand loyalty, image and awareness had significant influence on behavioral intention in order, (3) the effect of brand awareness on behavioral intention was significant influence by moderating effect of local & global brand.

The Effect of Brand Equity on Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention - Focused on Specialty Coffee Shops in Busan - (브랜드 에쿼티에 의한 만족도가 행동의도에 미치는 영향 - 부산 지역 커피전문점을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to analyze the effects of satisfaction on behavioral intentions depending on brand equity based on the consumers who visited specialty coffee shops in Busan. The self-administered method was used for empirical analysis and 295 copies (89%) out of 300 copies of questionnaires were used for analysis. For data processing, the SPSS WIN Version 15.0 statistical package program was used and the frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis were conducted so the hypothesis was verified through the regression analysis. As a result, for the hypothesis that "Brand equity(perceived quality, brand awareness, brand image) will have a significant impact on satisfaction," perceived quality, brand awareness, and brand image had a significant impact on satisfaction. Satisfaction was shown to have a significant impact on behavioral intentions for the hypothesis that "Satisfaction will have a significant impact on behavioral intentions" For the hypothesis that "Brand equity(perceived quality, brand awareness, brand image) will have a significant impact on behavior intentions," perceived quality and brand awareness had a significant impact on behavioral intentions while brand image didn't. Based on the results of this study, companies should be systematically managed to prepare strategies to remind consumers of their brands and focus on to strengthen brand equity effectively in order to build a competitive brand.

The Different Influence of the Types of Perceived Brand Image on the Brand Preference and Behavioral Intentions (지각된 브랜드 이미지 유형이 브랜드 선호도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향력 차이에 관한 연구 -박카스 '나를 아끼자' 광고캠페인을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how the types of perceived brand image related to the main concept building brand equity affect 'brand preference' and 'behavioral intentions'. The perceived brand image is set as the brand image type perceived by the consumer from the image pursued by the corporate brand, while in addition to brand preference, behavioral intentions are set as purchase intention and recommendation intention for the result variables. The result shows that the types of perceived brand image were extracted as 'factor 1(challenge spirit)' and factor 2(reliability) and through the cluster analysis 3 groups under each type were identified. Also, a significant difference between the influence of each type of perceived brand image on 'brand preference', 'purchase intention' and 'recommend intention' was indicated. In addition, the differences of perceived brand image types were found to be higher in order of 'challenge spirit type', 'reliability type', 'integrated type'. The empirical implementation of this study lies in the fact that it classifies the concept of brand image not as a broad theoretical model, but as a model directly related to real consumer perception, and that it gives practical suggestion for brand image management related to advertising.

  • The purpose of this research was conducted to provide an implication on the practical strategy method to enhance the awareness of University competitiveness. This research examined the various relations among emotional, social, functional values along with Brand attitude and intentioned action of University Tae-Kwon-Do Competition. Samples were 314 attendees of student and parents at the 2015 University Tae-Kwon-Do competition in Busan area. Collected data was first analysed by exploratory factor analysis then proposed conceptual framework was tested via confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling. The results were as follows: First, emotional and social values of University Tae-Kwon-Do competition had a significant effect on the Brand attitude, however, functional value showed no effect on intended action. Second, emotional, social, functional values of University Tae-Kwon-Do Competition had a significant effect on the intended action. Third, Brand attitude of University Tae-Kwon-Do Competition showed statistical relativeness with intended action.

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to examine underlying dimensions of two aspects of attitudes - cognitive beliefs and consumption feelings of well-known name brand apparel and 2) to examine predictiveness of those two variables in predicting buying intentions of well-known name brand apparel. The data were collected through questionnaire from convenient samples of 207 female college students. Statistical analysis of factor analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis were performed in analysing the data. The major findings were as fellows: 1. The dimensions of evaluation criteria of well-known name brand apparel were design/brand name, clothing construction, and practicality. 2. The dimensions of consumption feelings were pleasure/confidence, active and regret. 3. In predicting buying intension of name brand apparel, consumption feelings fecund to be as more robust predictors than cognitive variables.

Professional baseball PPL advertising attributes Brand Awareness, Brand Attitude and Behavioral Influence (프로야구 PPL광고속성이 브랜드인지, 브랜드태도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the effects of professional baseball PPL advertising speed on brand awareness, brand attitude, and behavioral intention for professional baseball consumers. The purpose of this study is to present a method that can be used as a variety of marketing utilization strategies of professional baseball teams and parent companies. This study was conducted on 411 professional baseball consumers. For data processing, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS 25.0 Window Version. Then, the average variance extraction index (AVE) and construct validity (CR) were calculated to verify convergent validity and discriminant validity. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was performed using AMOS 25.0. As a result, first, it was found that entertainment, informativeness, and discomfort, which are sub-factors of PPL advertisement speed, have a significant effect on brand recognition. Second, entertainment, information, and discomfort, which are sub-factors of PPL advertising speed, have a significant effect on brand attitude. Third, entertainment, informativeness, and discomfort, which are sub-factors of PPL advertisement speed, have a significant effect on behavioral intention. Fourth, it was found that brand awareness and brand attitude have a significant effect on behavioral intention.

  • This study aims at providing information on golf industry by survey about effects on purchase decision factors of golf goods and strategies on brand attitude and purchase behavior. As a result of this study, there are sixth reasonable factors of effects as follows. First, age, education and average golf score were meaningful factors on purchase decision. Second, sex and age were significant factors on brand attitude. Third, age was the only meaningful factor on purchase behavior. Fourth, purchase decision factors of golf goods showed significant (+) effects on brand attitude. Fifth, purchase decision factors of golf goods showed significant (+) effect on purchase behavior. Sixth, brand attitude showed significant (+) effect on purchase behavior.

  • In the midst of increasing interest in the environmental responsibility of companies, this study investigates how eco-friendly activities affect the creation of management performance. To this end, the effect of companies' green marketing on consumers' word-of-mouth intention, the mediating effect of brand reliability, and the moderating effect of consumers' pro-environmental behavior were verified. The results of the collected data analysis are as follows. First, companies' green marketing has a positive (+) effect on consumers' word-of-mouth intention. Second, brand reliability takes a positive (+) mediating role in the relationship between companies' green marketing and consumers' word-of-mouth intention. Third, consumers' pro-environment behavior has a moderating role between Brand Reliability and their word-of-mouth intention. Therefore, companies' eco-friendly strategies and their implementation will help enhance both brand reliability and consumers' word-of-mouth intention. By revealing the effect of companies' eco-friendly strategies and their implementation on brand reliability and consumers' word-of-mouth intention it is meaningful to analyze the relationship between green marketing and the possibility of consumers' spontaneous word-of-mouth intention. The results suggest to companies that it is necessary to establish an eco-friendly marketing strategy for sustainable growth.
