  • Irregular addressing scheme of gray scale control for the memory type flat panel plasma display is proposed in this paper. Opposed to the conventional addressing method. the scan electrodes are addressed in non-sequential manner. The addressing order for this irregular addressing is resolved to make the pixel duty factor above 90%. This addressing scheme can achieve the prolxJsed peformance regardless of the panel and cell structure and can be implemented without increasing the chive voltage, current or frequency .

  • 생명체의 근육을 구성하는 근섬유와 마찬가지로 나노선 구동기는 불규칙적으로 엉켜있는 나노선들의 집합으로 이루어져 있으며, 기존의 강유전체에 기반을 둔 구동기에 비해 낮은 구동전압과 높은 일률을 가진다. 대표적인 나노선인 MWCNTs(Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubs)와 $V_2O_5$ 나노선을 이용한 구동기는 이미 각각 시현된 바 있으나, 이 둘의 이종접합을 통한 구동기는 아직까지 보고되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 탄소나노튜브와 $V_2O_5$의 이종접합을 통해 필름 형태의 구동기를 구현하여 각각의 나노선 만을 이용했을 때보다 월등한 성능을 보여주는 구동기를 구현하였다. 향후 실용화 가능성을 염두에 두어, 보다 강건하고 최적화된 나노선 sheet의 합성과 구동기의 구조적 향상이 이루어진다면 그동안 알려진 그 어떤 물질보다도 우수한 구동특성을 보여줄 것이라 예상된다.

  • The self-driving roller conveyor system, which transports target products by controlling multiple rollers with a motor, is a logistics system suitable for branching and joining logistics and controlling the alignment of target products, and its utilization is increasing, especially in the food manufacturing process. In this paper, we build a simulation environment using Unity software based on 3D graphic modeling of a self-driving roller conveyor system. In a situation where target products are supplied irregularly in terms of time, a method is proposed that can align products to maintain constant spacing by controlling the rollers. Simulation results show that effective alignment of products is possible by controlling the motor that drives the roller based on sensor data of the product position.

  • This paper deals with the secondary excited induction generator applied to random energy input generation system. As it is preferred to stabilize the output voltage and frequency in the constant level, microcomputer controlled inverter connected to the secondary windings supplies the secondary current with slip frequency. For testing the appropriateness of this paper, the input torque simulator, which generate the statistically varied wave power input torque in the laboratory to drive the secondary excited induction generator, are constructed. The experimental and numerical results show the advantage of secondary excited induction generator system for the random input wave generation system.

Microstructure of alumina-dispersed Ce-TZP ceramics (알루미나가 분산된 세리아 안정화 지르코니아 세라믹스의 미세구조)

  • Microstructural evolutions in ceria-stabilized zirconia (Ce-TZP) and alumina-dispersed Ce-TZP ceramics were investigated as functions of doping and annealing conditions. All of sintered specimens showed the relative density over 99 %. Sintered specimens had linear grain boundaries and normal grain shapes, but ceria-doped specimens had irregular grain shapes and nonlinear grain boundaries due to the diffusion-induced grain boundary migration during annealing at $1650^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. Mean grain boundary length of Ce-TZP with irregular grain shapes was higher than that of normal grain shapes, and was a value of 23pm at the maximum. Alumina particles dispersed in Ce-TZP inhibited the grain growth of zirconia particles. $Al_2O_3$Ce-TZP doped with ceria and annealed at $1650^{\circ}C$ for 2 h showed irregular grain shapes as well as small grain size. Added alumina particles showed the grain growth during sintering or annealing, and they changed the position from grain boundary to inside of the grains during the annealing. The specimens with normal grain shapes showed an intergranular fracture mode, whereas the specimens with irregular grain shapes showed a transgranular fracture mode during the crack propagation.

  • TIN은 Triangulated Irregular Network의 약자로 불규칙한 대소삼각형의 집합으로 삼각망을 구성, 지표면을 Digital Terrain Model로 만드는 기법이다. 지표면(해저지형포함)은 수치화된 등고선의 벡터 데이터와 점의 표고데이터 또는 표고 평행배열의 Raster데이터로부터 모형화되며 또는 제 3의 방법인 TIN에 의해 모형화된다. 이 TIN에 의한 도형은 컴퓨터가 위성측량, 항공측량, 광파측량 또는 음차수심측량등 측량결과를 받아 어떤 특정 프로그램을 구동 삼각형의 정점에 해당하는 점의 X, Y, Z의 좌표로부터 닫한 삼각형을 작성한다. Marangoni Convection Effects on Crystal Growth (결정 성장에서 Marangoni 대류의 영향)

  • When a crystal is grown by FZ process, the melt zone is located at between the solid of upper and lower side and is kept by the solid-liquid interface tension. On the surface of the melt zone, a surface tension gradient is occured by the difference of temperature and solute concentration, it is the driving force of marangoni flow. The crystal even in the steady state growth can become imperfect for the dislocation distribution and the solute concentration in the peripheral region of the crystal are higher than those in the inner part and the probability of the formation of the defects such as voids, bubble penetration, secondary phase creation and crack is high near the solid-liquid interface. This is because the solid -liquid interface becomes irregular because of the local variation of temperature in that region due to marangoni convection.

  • The variation of a load characteristic in the motor drive is one of the most important consideration. Because the current flowing into the motor generally varies according to the load variation, it needs to design the motor drive circuit properly in accordance with the load variation. However, the load variation of the drum washing machine is irregular and large due to the water flow and reverse load torque. Therefore, to design the motor drive circuit considering this load pattern, simulation results shows the load pattern modeling of the drum washing machine based on the physical analysis in this paper.
