  • 본 논 연구에서는 이동전화기를 인위적으로 손상시켜 놓고 제품의 결함에 의해 문제가 발생한 것처럼 주장하는 소비자의 부도덕한 주장이 잘못됐음을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 이동전화기의 내부 또는 배터리 단자 사이에 바닷물, 땀, 침 등이 스며들어가면 단자 사이에 누설전가 흘러 그 때 발생된 열에 의해 금속이 용융되는 특징을 알 수 있다. 이동전화기가 생리 식염수에 빠지면 일정 시간이 경과된 후에 진동의 발생과 동시에 불규칙적으로 자판이 켜짐과 꺼짐의 반복이 발생하며, 배터리를 제거하면 진동, 켜짐 및 꺼짐 등이 정지한다. 이동전화기 내부에 바닷물, 땀, 침 등이 많이 흘러들어가 부품에 손상에 생겼더라도 단자간의 전압은 정상상태와 동일한 3.9V를 나타냈다.

  • Investigation is performed on the stability of general form of dynamic system whose damping and stiffness are varying in irregular manner along time, which is a preliminary result in the course of research on the characteristic and the control of the stochastic system. The governing equation of the 'parametric' system is derived via F-P-K approach in stochastic sense. The influence on the stability due to the magnitude of auto power spectral density and cross power spectral density of random variation of system parameters is studied and the region is surveyed.

  • An investigation into the modal interaction of an autoparametric system under broad-band random excitation is made. The specific system examined is a spring-pendulum system with internal resonance, which is known to be a good model for a variety of engineering systems, including ship motions with nonlinear coupling between pitching and rolling motions. By means of the Gaussian closure method the dynamic moment equations explaining the random response of the system are reduced to a system of autonomous ordinanary differential equations of the first and second moments. In view of equilibrium solutions of this system and their stability we examine the system responses. The stabilizing effect of system damping is also examined.

  • The mode localization phenomenon in non-periodic multispan beam is theoretically investigated. When localization occurs, the free vibration amplitude of a normal mode becomes confined to a local region of the structure. It is well known that the weakly coupled periodic structures are sensitive to certain types of periodicity-breaking disorder, resulting in the mode localization. The results of this study indicate that the mode localization occurs also in nonperiodic structures and the degrees of mode localization of some modes are very sensitive to system parameters. Free vibration analysis of simply supported two-span beams of arbitrary span lengths is performed. Degrees of mode localization and their sensitivities to system parameters are appraised by considering the characteristic graph and the structural line defined in this study first.

  • This paper proposes a self-organizing fuzzy controller (SOFC) design technique applied to the vibration control of a dynamic system under irregular disturbance. In this controller, the fuzzy rules generate control signal continuously using the array of input and output pairs without using any special controller model. The generated rules are saved in the fuzzy rule matrix in real-time by self-organizing methods. This fuzzy logic control is demonstrated by simulation and shows the efficiency of the real-time self-organizing fuzzy controller in this system.

Study on Durability by Structural Analysis of Bulldozer (불도저의 구조해석에 의한 내구성 연구)

  • This study analyzes the behaviors on stress, fatigue and vibration about bulldozer in operation. Maximum equivalent stress is shown with the frequency of 100 Hz in case of the harmonic vibration analysis applied with force. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sample history' becomes most stable. In case of 'Sample history' with the average stress of 0 to -105MPa and the amplitude stress of 0 to $1.617{\times}105MPa$, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 3.23%. This stress state can be shown with 5 times more than the damage possibility of 'SAE bracket history' or 'SAE transmission'. The structural result of this study can be effectively utilized with the design of bulldozer by investigating prevention and durability against its damage.

  • Dynamic characteristics are investigated when a nonlinear system showing periodic and chaotic responses under harmonic excitation is exposed to random perturbation. About two well potential problem, probability of homoclinic bifurcation is estimated using stochastic generalized Meinikov process and quantitive characteristics are investigated by calculation of Lyapunov exponent. Critical excitaion is calculated by various assumptions about Gaussian Melnikov process. To verify the phenomenon graphically Fokker-Planck equation is solved numerically and the original nonlinear equation is numerically simulated. Numerical solution of Fokker-Planck equation is calculated on Poincare section and noise induced chaos is studied by solving the eigenvalue problem of discretized probability density function.

영광 3 호기 부분충수운전중 정지냉각펌프 안전성 평가

  • 영광 3호기의 정지냉각펌프 성능감시 설비로는 펌프 유량계, 입구압, 출구압, 모터전류 등이 있으며 현장에서 펌프의 소음 감시나 진동 측정 등을 통하여 펌프 건전성을 확인할 수 있다. 부분충수운전중 여러 연구결과 제시된 펌프의 이상징후 증상은 펌프의 소음 증가, 유량계 또는 모터전류의 불규칙 요동이 있으나 정량적인 값을 제시하지 못하고 있으며 공기유입량에 대한 운전제한 근거만 정량적으로 제시되고 있다. 즉, WCAP-l1916에 따른 펌프의 손상 판단 근거는 연속적인 공기 흡입의 경우 2%이내, 간헐적인 공기흡입의 경우 5%를 제시하고 있다. 영광 3 호기의 부분충수운전시 펌프 입구압력을 제외한 다른 펌프 성능감시 변수들은 허용오차 이내로 별다른 펌프 이상 징후를 발견하지 못하였다. 그러나 펌프 입구압력 기록계의 입구압력 및 진동폭 변화는 정지냉각유량률, RCS 수위, 증기발생기 노즐댐 설치 유무에 따라 민감한 변화를 보여주었으며, 펌프의 건전성 감시에 가장 효과적인 변수임을 보여주었다.

A study on the tire structure vibration for road noise reduction and chassis design (자동차 도로소음 저감과 샤시 설계를 위한 타이어 구조진동에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to obtain a foundation data for chassis design and road noise reduction of automobiles. Using the combination of the automobile, radial tires and instrumentation equipment, experimental investigation was carried out to examine the characteris- tics of the structural vibration of tire as the key to obtaining the effective parameters for reducing road noise. From the results of this studies it has been confirmed that the specific ranges of natural frequency of tire exciting the suspension and chassis system. And the tire, axle and chassis natural frequency of automobile govern the road noise. Results show that material properties of tire and experimental condition are major parameter for shifting of tire natural frequency. These results would be utilized as basic materials for the design of chassis design with papametric study, which enables a designer of an automobile to foresee the influence of the various design factors or operating conditions.

A Vibration Test of Fuel Tanks for LNG Vehicles (액화천연가스 차량용 연료탱크의 진동시험)

  • Natural frequencies of a cryogenic fuel tank of LNG vehicle were computed to check the safety related to the resonances, and tests were performed to confirm the vibrational durability of a cryogenic fuel tank. There were 3 tests. The first test started at excitation frequency of 31.9Hz, and the test was performed reducing the excitation frequencies. Failure took place at 22.1Hz. The second test was performed with the frequencies to be increased. At 12.7 Hz, failure took place and nitrogen gas was exhausted. In the third test, the excitation frequencies were continuously changed, and the vibration port was failed in the range between 8 Hz and 19.3 Hz. Detailed research on the failed parts of the tank in this study is recommended to enhance the safety of the cryogenic fuel tanks of LNG vehicles.
