Development of Korea-ASEAN Wetland Knowledge Sharing Platform and Future Suggestions (한-아세안 습지 지식공유 플랫폼 개발 및 제언)

  • This study analyzed global Knowledge Sharing Platforms and collected stakeholder's suggestions to develop the "Korea-ASEAN Wetland Knowledge Sharing Platform (KSP)." As a result of the analysis, ① financial support and ② knowledge outcomes are essential to maintain the KSP and conduct the platform sustainably. Stakeholder suggest three significant projects (① comparative analysis of the inventory of wetlands in the Korea-ASEAN region, ② knowledge gap analysis in wetland research trends, and ③ establishing a web infrastructure for wetlands information sharing). The "Korea-ASEAN Wetland KSP" defined to be consistent with the international conventions (e.g., Ramsar Convention, Convention on Biological Diversity) goals by comprehensively considering the literature analysis and stakeholder suggestions. Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) selected as the fundamental model of the KSP. As with IPBES, knowledge management and assessment, capacity building, policy support, communication and participation adopted as the platform's core objectives. The KSP will be able to share knowledge related to the same type of wetland ecosystem within the Korea-ASEAN region and provide necessary information for establishing science-based policies.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Motivation Factors between the Quality of Research Data Metadata and the Activation of Research Data Platform (연구데이터 메타데이터의 품질과 연구데이터플랫폼의 활성화의 관계에서 동기부여 요인의 매개효과 연구)

  • This study focuses on the impact of research data metadata quality evaluation index on the revitalization of K-BDS, a research data platform in the bio field, and examines the mediating effect of motivation factors for utilizing the platform. The investigation employs a structural equation model analysis and bootstrap analysis to explore the interrelationships among the three variables. The findings demonstrate that researchers who prioritize the quality of metadata display higher motivation to use the research data platform, leading to an intention to activate the platform. The study also confirms the mediating effect of motivation factors. Moreover, a comprehensive understanding of the sub-factors within each variable is attained through regression analysis and Sobel test. The results highlight that enhancing searchability is crucial to activate research data sharing in the bio field, while improving discoverability is vital for research data reuse. Interestingly, the study reveals that citationability does not significantly impact platform activation. As a conclusion, to foster platform activation, it is imperative to provide systematic support by enhancing metadata quality. This improvement can not only increase trust in the platform but also institutionally solidify the benefits of citation.

Content Analysis of the Teaching Support Program of the Teaching and Learning Center and Direction of the Teaching Support Platform (교수학습센터의 교수지원 프로그램 컨텐츠 분석 및 교수지원 플랫폼이 나아갈 방향)

  • This is a study on the direction of the teaching support program contents analysis and teaching support platform of the teaching and learning center. To this end, in April 2020, a literature study was conducted, an analysis of the current status of teaching support at other universities and K universities, an analysis of professor interviews, and expert verification were conducted. The main research results are as follows. First, as a result of examining the current status of teaching support programs at 24 universities, it was confirmed that special lectures on teaching methods, class consulting, teaching method research meetings, and educational resource rooms were operated as representative programs. Second, the basic structure of the platform is composed of a lecture case sharing bulletin board to enable active exchange of opinions on teaching methods among teachers, a teaching support program application bulletin board to enable application for a teaching method program, and Edu-tech to activate the platform, and a professor support menu. Third, the contents of the teaching support platform were implemented based on the basic structure of the teaching support platform. This study analyzed the contents of the teaching support program and conducted a study to suggest the direction of the teaching support platform to discuss the direction of establishing an effective teaching support platform.

  • 서비스 플랫폼이란 응용 서비스를 이용자에게 전달하는 틀로서, 서비스가 생성, 실행, 관리되는 서비스들의 플레이그라운드라 할 수 있다. 본 고에서는 통신 서비스 분야로 한정되어 있던 전통적인 서비스 딜리버리 플랫폼으로부터 통신 기능을 개방하여 인터넷 세상에 연결시키기 위한 개방형서비스 플랫폼, 웹 30.0 시대를 실현하기 위한 시맨틱 서비스 플랫폼에 이르기까지 서비스 플랫폼 기술의 발전상과 사례들을 살펴본다. 이와 같이 서비스 플랫폼의 현실과 미래를 고찰함으로써 이종 산업간 융합 서비스 제공 환경의 실현 기능성과 그 시기를 전망해보고자 한다.

  • 현재 사물인터넷(Internet of Things; IoT) 기술을 이용한 스마트홈 환경을 구축하기 위해서는 같은 식별체계를 사용하는 플랫폼 디바이스를 사용해야 한다. 그러나 주요 IoT 플랫폼들은 각각 다른 식별체계를 사용하고 있기 때문에 이종 플랫폼 간 디바이스 식별이 어려운 상황이다. 이종 플랫폼 간 디바이스 식별체계 상호연동에 대한 연구는 진행 중이며 아직까지 해결책은 제시되지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 주요 IoT 플랫폼인 oneM2M, GS1 Oliot, IBM Watson IoT, OCF IoTivity의 디바이스 식별체계를 분석하고 비교하여 서로 다른 플랫폼 간 디바이스 식별체계에 대한 번역기 또는 해석기의 필요성과 개념모델을 제시한다.

  • Social learning is a new study model of future knowledge information society. In different existing study, it lay stress on individual activity and collaborative study with others. It is useful to apply social media services to build social learning platform for collaborative study. In my paper, after existing social media services and social platforms are investigated and analyzed, an effective social learning platform applyng social media services is presented. Also differences and superiority compared to other social platforms is presented through new social learning platform architecture and screen design.

스마트 항로표지 정보 서비스 플랫폼 개발 방안 연구

  • 항로표지의 효율적 관리와 연계/수집 정보의 서비스를 위해 스마트 항로표지 정보협력시스템이 요구 되었고, 항로표지 관리, 선박 사용, 육상 정보 활용을 위해서는 서비스 플랫폼이 반드시 고려되어야 한다. IMO e-Navigation 전략 이행을 위해 16개의 해양 서비스가 식별되었고, 해양 서비스 개발을 목적으로 해양 서비스 정의, 기술표준 개발에 관한 표준이 개발되었으며, 정보 교환을 위한 S-100 데이터 모델 적용이 논의 되었다. 해양 서비스 플랫폼 개발과 관련하여 서비스 인증, 검색, 메시지 전송에 관한 MCP가 개발 되었으며, 서비스 플랫폼 평가에 관한 기준이 개발되었다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 항로표지 정보 서비스 플랫폼 개발을 위해 서비스 내역과 정보협력 시스템의 구조를 분석하고, IMO/IALA/IHO 국제기구의 최신 기준에 따른 해양 서비스 플랫폼 구축 방안을 제시 하였다.

  • 최근 관심이 증대되고 있는 빅데이터 분석 및 처리를 위한 병렬분산처리 시스템은 대용량 서버가 필요하고 인프라 구축을 위해 고비용을 지불해야 한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 저렴한 라즈베리 파이로 클러스터를 구성하고, 하둡보다 빠른 속도의 처리를 제공하는 아파치 스파크를 분석 솔루션으로 하는 빅데이터 분석 플랫폼을 구축하였다. 구축한 플랫폼이 빅데이터 활용을 위해 적절한 성능을 보이는지 확인하기 위해 텍스트 마이닝을 수행하였고, 분석 결과 유효한 성능을 보였다. 적절한 비용으로 빅데이터 분석이 가능해지면서 중소기업과 개인, 교육 기관에서도 빅데이터 활용이 가능해지면서 활용 분야가 크게 확대될 것으로 보인다.

A Study on the Evaluation of the Functionality of Shipping Logistics Platform Using IPA Analysis (IPA분석을 활용한 해운물류 플랫폼 구성기능 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract and evaluate the factors to improve the quality of shipping logistics platform suggested as an alternative to the stagnant shipping logistics industry. For this, we selected factors through previous research and expert interviews, and conducted surveys on carriers, forwarders, shippers, and platform operators with experience using shipping logistics platforms. As a method of analysis, quality evaluation of the shipping logistics platform was conducted using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). The results of this study are as follows "Competitiveness of services provided", "Connectivity with other transportation mode", "Competitiveness of freight", "Transparency of freight", and "Stability of booking space". For the shipping logistics platform to be activated in the future, priority should be given to focusing on these factors. This study has academic significance for establishing configuration function of shipping logistics platform and deriving evaluation factor. Additionally it is an industrial significance for suggesting strategies to improve users' participation in the shipping logistics platform.

  • With the rapid growth of mobile services, the various charging methods for mobile data have emerged in the mobile service market. Among them, network operators have begun to provide the zero-rating without any extra charge for the data that use the specific mobile application & services. Zero-rating, the free mobile data services by the network operators provoked many platform operators to confront business opportunity and risk. Though the platform operators are in urgent need of the strategy planning that considers business environments, any research endeavors explaining zero-rating and platform does not exist. Moreover, the analyses of potential effects of zero-rating on the business acts of platform operators has not been performed. Therefore, the study aims to identify the potential business opportunity and risk to prepare the various strategic countermeasure in platform operators' shoes. The study might enable the researchers to properly understand zero-rating and platform, and be utilized as a reference in planning the business strategy of the platform operators.
