  • 현대 산업사회가 다양해짐에 따라 발생되는 생활폐기물의 형태도 다양화되었고 발생폐기물의 성상은 연소가 어려운 난분해성 폐기물로 발열량이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 폐기물의 처리를 위한 소각설비는 폐기물 처리형태에 따라 대형의 도시 쓰레기 소각장이나 지자체의 중형급 소각장, 발생원 단위의 소형 소각장으로 구분하여 처리하고있다. 기존 중ㆍ대형 소각로의 유해가스 처리시설은 일반적으로 냉각설비와 가스상 처리설비, 입자상 처리설비 등으로 구성되는데 반해, 소형 소각로는 싸이클론 방식만으로 구성되어 입자상 물질만을 처리하였으나, 최근에 들어서 관련법규가 개정되어 소형 소각로에서도 입자상 오염물질뿐만 아니라 HCl 및 SOx 등과 같은 산성가스류와 다이옥신 등의 배출농도를 규제함에 따라 가스상 오염물질도 처리하는 방안을 도입하고 있는 추세이다. Power and Emission Characteristics of DI Diesel Engine with a Soybean Bio-diesel Fuel (바이오디젤유를 사용한 직접분사식 디젤엔진의 출력성능 및 배출가스 특성)

  • This paper describes the power performance and emission characteristics of the high speed direct injection diesel engine (2.9 litter displacements) driven by soybean oil asknown a bio diesel fuel. The results were compared to diesel fuel with blending bio diesel fuels. The soybean bio diesel fuel was added in the diesel fuel in concentration varying from 25% to 75% volume rates. We measured the emissions according to ECE 13 mode and full load, fixedengine speed. When the 25% bio diesel fuel was used, NOx emission at the ECE 13 mode test slightly decreased compared with diesel base engine. Over engine speed of 2000 rpm, the level of unburned hydrocarbon(HC) and carbon monoxide(CO) were the same to the diesel engine. Smoke emission decreased asthe blending bio diesel fuel rate increased.

  • 미세드릴가공은 드릴 직경의 소경화로 발생하는 공구강성저하, 지동 발생, 칩배출 곤란 등으로 인해 수많은 기계가공 중에서도 가장 어려운 가공 중의 하나이며 이로인해 설계의 단계에서 가능한 피하고있는 실정이다. 그러나 근래 각종 제품의 소형 경량화 추세가 일어나면서 미세구멍가공 기술에 대한 중요성이 높아지고 있으며, 특히 시계부품, 소형 정밀 부품, 연료분사용 노즐, 광파이버 관련품, 우주항공기 부품 등에 수요가 급증하고 있다. 또한 최근 전기.전자 공업의 발달과 함께 등장한 표면실장기술(SMT)은 프린터 배선기판의 고밀도화를 더욱 진전시켰으며 이는 구멍밀도, 구멍지름의 미소화 등 미세구멍가공 관점에서 보완해야 할 기술적인 과제를 남겨 놓았다. 본 연구는 미세드릴가공의 메카니즘을 규명하고 그 문제점을 해결하여 미소경 드릴링 머신을 개발하는 데 주력함과 동시에그 절삭현상의 기초적인 연구를 수행하였다

An Experimental Study on the Simultaneous Reduction of Smoke and NOx by Oxygenated Fuel Additives in DI Diesel Engine (직접분사식 디젤기관에서 함산소연료 첨가에 의한 매연과 NOx 동시 저감에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Extensive experiments were conducted to investigate the emission of DI diesel engine by using DMC(dimethyl carbonate) as an oxygenated fuel additives. The results indicate that smoke reduces almost linearly with fuel oxygen contents. Reductions of HC and CO were attained noticeably, while a small increase in NOx was encountered concurrently. The effective reduction in smoke with DMC was maintained with the presence of CO2, which suggested a low NOx and smoke operation could be obtained in combination of using oxygenated fuel and EGR. Further experiment was conducted a thermal cracking set-up for mechanism studies.

  • Recently, our world is faced with very serious and hard problems related to the air pollution due to the exhaust emissions of the diesel engine. In this paper, the effect of oxygen component in fuel on the exhaust emissions has been investigated fur direct injection diesel engine. It was tested to estimate change of engine performance and exhaust emission characteristics for the commercial diesel fuel and oxygenate blended fuel which has three kinds of mixed ratio. And, it was tried to analyze not only total hydrocarbon but individual hydrocarbon components from Cl to C6 in exhaust gas using gas chromatography to seek the reason far remarkable reduction of smoke emission. This study was carried out by comparing the chromatogram with diesel fuel and diesel feel blended DGM(diethylene glycol dimethyl ether) 5%. The results of this study show that individual hydrocarbon(C1∼C6) as well as total hydrocarbon of oxygenated fuel is reduced remarkably than that of diesel fuel.

  • In this study, the potential possibility of oxygenates on di-ether group (DBE, dibutyl ether) was investigated as an additives for an agricultural direct injection diesel engine. It tested to estimate change of engine performance and exhaust emission characteristics for the commercial diesel fuel and oxygenates additives blending fuel which has four kinds of mixed ratio. The smoke emission of blending fuel (diesel fuel 80 vol-% + DBE 20 vol-%) was reduced in comparison with diesel fuel, that is, it was reduced approximately 26% at 2500 rpm, full load. And, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption didn't have large differences. But, NOx emission of blended fuel was increased compared with commercial diesel fuel.

  • Influence of changing combustor pressure on flame stabilization and emission index in the swirl-stabilized flame was investigated The combustor pressure was controlled by suction fan at combustor exit. Pressure index ($P^{\ast}=P_{abs}/P_{atm}$), where $P_{abs}$ and $P_{atm}$ indicated the absolute pressure and atmosphere pressure, respectively, was controlled in the range of $0.7{\sim}1.3$ for each equivalence ratio conditions. The flammable limits of swirl flames were largely influenced by changing combustor pressure and they showed similar tendency with laminar flames. $NO_x$ emission index decreased with decreasing pressure index for overall equivalence ratio conditions. R.m.s. of pressure fluctuations is increased with decreasing combustor pressure. This flame fluctuation caused incomplete combustion , hence CO emission index increased. These oscillating flames were measured by simultaneous $CH{\ast}$ chemiluminescence time-series visualization and pressure fluctuation measurement.

  • This paper described the effect of dual clutch transmissions on the stability emissions characteristic in a GDI engine at vehicle Inspection and Maintenance(I/M) program. In order to investigate the influence of direct injection gasoline engine with DCT, the experimental apparatus consisted of GDI engine with 4 cylinder, dynamometer and exhaust emissions analyzer. Analyzed emission gas include CO, HC and NOx results that DCT vehicle in the case of NOx, HC in automatic transmission vehicles less than 1/2 level was confirmed to be exhausted. However vehicle specific power increases CO also has increased.

  • 디젤엔진에서 배출되는 배기가스 중의 주요 오염물질 중의 하나인 NOx(질소산화물)는 대부분 고온의 연소 과정에서 발생하고, 발생량은 연소온도에 따라 결정되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 또한 연료의 연소 중에 물이 첨가되면 연소공기의 비열 증가에 의하여 연소온도가 감소하여 NOx 발생량이 급격하게 감소하게 되는데, 연소실에 물을 첨가하는 방법으로는 유화연료, 직접물분사, 흡기가습 등이 있다. 이중 흡기가습은 구조가 간단하면서 NOx 저감효율이 가장 높은 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 당사 고유모델 중형엔진인 힘센엔진에 흡기가습 기술을 적용하여 연소성능 및 NOx 저감효과 등을 시험하고, 흡기가습 시스템의 상용화 모델 개발을 위한 기초 데이터를 확보하기 위해 수행되었다.

  • Our environment is faced with serious problems related to the air pollution from automobiles in these days. In particular, the exhaust emissions of diesel engine are recognized main cause which influenced environment strong. In this study, the potential possibility of biodiesel fuel was investigated as an alternative fuel for a naturally aspirated common rail diesel engine. The smoke emission of biodiesel fuel 30vol-%(max. content) was reduced in comparison with diesel fuel, that is, it was reduced approximately 60% at 4000rpm, full load. But, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption didn't have no large differences. But, NOx emission of biodiesel fuel was increased compared with commercial diesel fuel.
