Pattern Classification of HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Defect Distribution Using Rectangular Coordinates (직교좌표를 이용한 HIDD (Hard Disk Drive) 결함분포의 패턴 분류)

  • 본 논문에서는 불량 하드디스크 드라이브의 수리판정 자동화를 위해 필요한 하드디스크 드라이브(Hard Disk Drive, HDD) 결함의 분포패턴의 분류에 관한 연구 결과를 소개한다. HDD 제조공정에서는 테스트 진행 중 검출된 결함에 관한 정보를 HDD 내부에 기록한다. 불량으로 판별된 HDD는 내부에 기록된 결함의 분포론 관찰한 후, 불량의 종류 및 그에 따른 처리방안을 결정한다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 결함분포 패턴의 특징추출을 위해, 하드디스크의 물리적 특성에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 극좌표 (Polar Coordinates) 방식으로 표현된 결함 위치 데이터를 직교좌표(Cartesian Coordinates)로 변환한다. 그리고 디스크 상의 두 동심원 사이의 공간을 정해진 회전각별로 등분한 후, 나누어진 구간별로 결함 발생빈도 히스토그램 (Histogram) 분석을 수행하여 결함분포의 패턴을 분류하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 설계된 알고리즘은 실제 HDD 제조공정에서 발생한 불량 HDD Set을 대상으로 적용한 결과, 그 효용성이 검증되었다.

A Methodology of Records Classification System Development Based on Functional Analysis: Case Study of The Presidential Committee for the Inspection of Collaborations for Japanese Imperialism (업무기능에 기반한 기록분류체계 개발에 관한 연구 -친일반민족행위진상규명위원회를 중심으로-)

  • There should be an integration between work management and records management in order to document the work processes thoroughly. It's proper to establish a records classification system to have the work classification and record classification table integrated for that purpose. But the conventional procedures and methodology used for records classification system development lack specific features to be used as voluntary guidelines of a common organization or group and to conduct analysis. Recognizing the problems, this study suggested the specific methods of records classification system development to link work management and records management organically. First, the functional classification was chosen as the principle of classification for records classification system development. Then concrete methods of records classification system development were suggested. Analysis and comparison were made for the DIRKS(Designing and Implementing Recordkeeping Systems), which is the standard records management and work analysis of Australia, and AS 5090. The results were used to suggest specific methods of records classification system development in conjunction with the research into the methodology employed for work analysis in information engineering and business administration to compensate for its weakness. The significance of the study can be found in that it suggested the methods of typical records classification system development in connection with records classification, and that it applied them to the Presidential Committee for the Inspection of Collaborations for Japanese Imperialism and tested them.

An Analysis on Curriculum of Library and Information Science in U.S. (미국 문헌정보학 교과과정 주제에 대한 분석 연구)

  • Since new issues and topics are emerging in the information and library science fields, diverse needs are identified to enhance the curriculum of library and information science education. This study investigated curriculum of library and information science in US and identified the topics of classes in the curriculum by the three aspects such as competency areas, scientific and technology category, and research fields. Consequently, topics related various information technology including system design and implement are the most popular topics in all analyses. Library and information center management and user service are also major topics of the curriculum.

A Study on the Design of a Topic Map-based Retrieval System for the Academic Administration Records of Universities (대학 학사행정 기록물의 토픽맵 기반 검색시스템 설계에 관한 연구)

  • A topic map was designed as an efficient information retrieval method that is optimized for classification, organization, and navigation through the use of a semantic link network above information resources. With this, this study aims to design a topic map-based university archives retrieval system to provide the relevant information retrieval. For this study, electronic records that relate to the academic administration within two years of D university were collected, and topic map editing was carried out with Ontopia Omnigator. Topics were classified according to their functional analysis of academic administration. In the end, the number of topics was finalized as 626, with 6 types in general: academic work, staff, college register, student, university, etc. Association was separated into six types as well, which were formed with consideration to the relationships among topics. In addition, there are seven occurrence types: register class, register number, register date, receiver, title, creator, and identifier. It is expected that the associative nature of the designed topic map-based retrieval system in this study will make navigation of large records easy and allow incidental discovery of knowledge.

A New Method for Nonparametric Document Layout Analysis (매개변수에 무관한 새로운 문서 구조 분석 방법)

  • 본 논문에서는 매개변수 없이 입력 문서 영상을 최대 동질 영역들로 분할한 다음, 각 동질 영역을 텍스트, 그림, 표 그리고 선으로 자동 분류하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 다단계 분석과 하향식 접근 방법을 사용하기 위하여 문서 영상을 피라미드 구조로 계층화하였으며, 어떤 영역을 분할할 지의 여부를 결정하기 위하여 그 영역의 주기성을 이용하여 판단하였다. 이러한 주기성 정보를 이용함으로써, 어떠한 매개변수 없이도 활자체 크기와 행간에 무관하게 텍스트 영역을 정확히 분석할 수 있었으며, 피라미드 구조를 만드는데 걸리는 시간이 질감 분석 접근방법보다 빠른 방법으로 설계되었다. Washington 대학의 문서 영상 데이터베이스를 이용한 실험 결과, 제안된 방법이 기존의 방법들보다 더 정확하게 문서 영상을 분할 및 분류할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • It is the unavoidable problem that the RMR rock classification method has the uncertainty resulted from uncertain definition of measured value in RMR grade table, hence in this paper, the estimation of probability density function$(p{\cdot}d{\cdot}f)$ graph with the evaluation of continuos RMR and the Monte Carlo Simulation and statistic reasoning were carried out to evaluate the uncertainty quantitatively. Also, the modified RMR rock classification table was presented in order to apply the uncertainty of RMR to the practice, and then the design process of standard support pattern and the tunnel support material was proposed.

  • In this study, in order to expand the access points of reading materials, a reading material classification (RMC) system based on the facets of book use was devised. The facets of books that can be considered by book users in the reading situation were content-analyzed. Also, through network analysis, subject headings adjacent to one subject heading were grouped into related subject headings. The RMC developed in this study can be used as a tool that provides various access points to help book users search in the library OPAC and other reading information systems.

  • Currently, our country doesn't have standard children's library classification whose development reflects characteristics of children's library and children's books, and for this, not only the children's library working staffs but also users have to deal with a lot of discomforts and difficulties. This study was to take into account these facts of reality and attempted to develop Children's Library Classification (CLC) that is widely applicable to children's libraries. For this, the paper examined the category of children's books and analyzed classification conditions of children's library. Based on this examination and analysis, the paper developed CLC. This study finds its meaning in that the CLC developed by this study was based on KDC, was newly reformed for children's library, and was developed by reflecting the characteristics of children's library and children's books as much as possible in the formation of classification category and progression level per subject; the author expects that it could actually be applied to classification of children's books regardless of the size and type of children's libraries.

  • This study was about design and development of the 'Mobile Learning Evaluation Announced System'(MLEAS), which could operate the e-learning and send the result of that to the parents. From this, teachers and parents can communicate with each other dynamically. Especially, this system does not simply present results of students 'learning but provide the extra learning which can make up for students' wrong questions in the base of the evaluation standard. This paper suggests this total learning solution so that parents can perceive the state of their children's learning under the mobile learning environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 Azure 클라우드 플랫폼의 가상서버 호스팅을 이용해 데이터 수집 환경을 구축하고, Azure에서 제공하는 자동화된 기계학습(Automated Machine Learning, AutoML)을 기반으로 데이터 분석 방법에 관한 연구를 수행했다. 가상 서버 호스팅 환경에 LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)를 설치하여 데이터 수집환경을 구축했으며, 수집된 데이터를 Azure AutoML에 적용하여 자동화된 기계학습을 수행했다. Azure AutoML은 소모적이고 반복적인 기계학습 모델 개발을 자동화하는 프로세스로써 기계학습 솔루션 구현하는데 시간과 자원(Resource)를 절약할 수 있다. 특히, AutoML은 수집된 데이터를 분류와 회귀 및 예측하는데 있어서 학습점수(Training Score)를 기반으로 보유한 데이터에 가장 적합한 기계학습 모델의 순위를 제공한다. 이는 데이터 분석에 필요한 기계학습 모델을 개발하는데 있어서 개발 초기 단계부터 코드를 설계하지 않아도 되며, 전체 기계학습 시스템을 개발 및 구현하기 전에 모델의 구성과 시스템을 설계해볼 수 있기 때문에 매우 효율적으로 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 NPU(Neural Processing Unit) 학습에 필요한 데이터 수집 환경에 관한 연구를 수행했으며, Azure AutoML을 기반으로 데이터 분류와 회귀 등 가장 효율적인 알고리즘 선정에 관한 연구를 수행했다.
