Utilizing UPCA and SPCA in Unsupervised Classification Using Landsat TM data

  • 본 연구는 무감독영상해석(Unsupervised Classification)에서 주성분 분석법(Principal Component Analysis)의 응용성을 연구하기 위하여, 주성분 분석법을 K-means, ISODATA 두가지 무감독분류법에 적용하였다. 적용대상지역은 제주도이다. 본 연구에서 주성분 분석 방법중에서 비정규형 주성분 분석방법 (Unstandardized PCA)과 정규형 주성분 분석방법(Standardized PCA) 두가지 경우로 나누어서 각각 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 제주도의 Landsat TM영상과 국토연구원에서 조사한 제주도 식생분류 조사자료와 현장조사 자료 그리고 1/25,000 수치지도를 이용하였다. 그리고 분석된 자료의 정확도를 평가하기 위하여 오차행렬(Error Matrix)을 도입하여 계산하였다. 우선 비정규형 주성분 분석법으로 구한 주성분 영상과 Landsat TM 원래 영상을 오차행렬을 이용하여 제주도의 식생 분류에 각각 적용하였다. 그 결과, K-means 무감독분류법에서는 Landsat TM 자료를 직접 이용한 경우에는 바다와 육상의 분류가 잘 되지 않았으며, 또한 전반적인 영상분류결과가 관측치와 많은 차이를 보였다. 그러나, 주성분 분석법으로 계산된 주성분 영상으로 K-means방법으로 분류 한 결과는 관측치와 잘 일치를 하였다. ISODATA의 경우, Landsat TM 원래영상을 계산하면, K-means으로 분류한 결과보다는 좋은 값을 나타냈으나, 주성분 분석법으로 구한 영상의 계산결과와 비교하면, 주성분 영상으로 구한 분류결과의 정확도가 약 15%정도 높게 나타났다. 정규형 주성분 분석법의 경우를 보면 K-means에서는 Landsat TM원래 자료보다 우수한 결과를 보여주었으나, 비정규형 주성분 분석법으로 계산된 결과보다는 정확도가 다소 떨어지는 단점이 있었고, ISODATA의 경우도 Landsat TM원래 자료보다 약 7%정도의 높은 정확도를 보였으나, 비정규형 영상보다는 약8%정도 낮은 정확도를 보였다. 본 연구에서 주성분 분석법으로 계산된 결과에서 주목되는 것은, 주성분 분석법으로 구한 주성분 영상은 분류방법(K-means, ISODATA, artificial neural networks)에 따라 분류된 결과값이 비슷하게 나타난 반면, Landsat TM원래 자료는 분류방법에 따라 결과값이 많은 차이를 보여 주었다. 그리고 주성분 분석 방법 중에서도 비정규형 주성분 분석법(Unstandardized PCA)이 정규형 주성분 분석법(Standardized PCA)보다 영상분석에서 더 좋은 결과를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다.

A Comparative Study of Notes in KDC and DDC (한국십진분류법과 듀이십진분류법에 나타난 주기의 다양성에 관한 비교 연구)

  • Notes in library classification systems are inevitable tools for creating and building of classification numbers. The purposes of this study are to make better notes in Korean Decimal Classification(KDC) by analyzing and comparing notes in other library classification system and to assign the most appropriate classification numbers based upon the better notes. In order to achieve these purposes, analyzing notes in Dewey Decimal Classification(DDC) and KDC was carried. And the comparison of notes used in 000 Computer science, information, general works in DDC and KDC was done. Based upon these analysis, additional notes and their various forms were suggested.

  • Learning objectives is used to be a good guidance of a class evaluation and activity design for an effective teaching and learning activities in class. Anderson's taxonomy of Educational Objectives that was a revision of Bloom's taxonomy has presented in research field of other subject matters and used as a better guideline for analyzing learning objectives in textbook and achievement levels in test recently. This study has behaved some questionnaires for that Anderson's taxonomy is suitable for a guideline of stating learning objective in Informatics subject matter, and analyzed the learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks by Anderson's taxonomy. It has proposed that Anderson's taxonomy is satisfactory for expressing learning objective of Informatics subject matter in class and some dimensions, such as conceptual and procedural knowledge, understand, and apply, are much more used in learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks. This results will be a good case study in research about taxonomy of educational objectives and development of Informatics textbooks.

  • Bliss stated that one of the purposes of the classification was to demonstrate that a coherent and comprehensive system, based on the logical principles of classification and consistent with the systems of science and education, may be available to services in libraries, to aid revision of long established classifications and to provide an adaptable, efficient and economical classification, notation and index. A fundamental principle is the idea of subordination each specific subject is subordinated to the appropriate general one. The full scheme followed the publication of two massive theoretical works on the organization of knowledge. Its main feature was the carefully designed maul class order. reflecting Comte principle of gradation in speciality.

  • The purpose of this study is principle and theory of main class in a Library Classification. According to Sayers, 'The foundation of the library is the book; the foundation of librarianship is classification.' We looked at the between scientific and bibliographic classification, and at the fact that bibliographic scheme is usually an aspect classification. That is to say, the organization of topics is based on areas or activity and the first division of the scheme is into disciplines or subject domains. This first division of classification creates what are called main class. The sequence of main classes is also important. A rough definition of a amin class is that it corresponds to a sin91e notational character. Main classes usually equivalent to traditional disciplines. What constitutes a main class will vary from one classification to another. The order in which the main classes are listed is often discussed at the theoretical level, and some orders are considered to be better than others.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze on the main classes of DDC. The DDC is a general classification system which aims to classify documents of all kinds falling in any knowledge domain. At best, the order of the main classes represents a mix of Baconian and Hegelian philosophy adulterated by the practical exigencies of organization a collection of books. Each of the main classes have been subdivided further into what are technically known as divisions. This division of knowledge into the nine main classes mirrors the educational consensus of the late nineteen-century Western academic world. The DDC thus scatters subjects by discipline, and the subjects are subordinated to discipline. The DDC has been criticised for its rigidity of division by ten at every step of its division. Division by the decimal classification has been likened to the Procrustean bed.

  • Bieniawski에 의해 개발된 RMR은 암석강도 및 불연속면, 지하수 등의 6개 인자에 따라 분류되어, 이들을 합산하여 결정된다. RMR 분류법은 각 요소들에 대한 평가가 비교적 쉽고, 다양한 응용을 거쳐 여러 분야에 적용되어 국내에서도 가장 널리 사용하고 있는 암반분류 방법 중의 하나이다. RMR 분류결과는 터널의 유지시간, 최대 무지보폭의 예측, 지보량 산정, 암반의 물리적 특성값 예측 등에 적용될 수 있다. 또한 RMR 분류법을 사면안정, 댐 기초, 심부 광산 등에 적용하거나, RMR 분류법의 미비한 부분을 보완하기 위한 여러 가지 수정방법이 제시되었다.

Analysis about Learning Objectives of Informatics Textbooks in High School using Anderson's and Fuller's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives (Anderson과 Fuller의 교육목표 분류법을 이용한 고등학교 정보 교과서의 수업 목표 분석)

  • This study has analyzed the learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks that were published this year in the basis of 2009 revised curriculum using Anderson's taxonomy of Educational Objectives that was a revision of Bloom's taxonomy and Fuller's taxonomy that was presented for programming activities. Some dimensions of Anderson's taxonomy, such as conceptual and procedural knowledge, understand and apply in cognitive process are much more used in learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks. Interpreting and producing dimensions of taxonomy are well presented to balance in 6 Informatics textbooks by analysis of Fuller's taxonomy. This results will be a good case study in research about taxonomy of educational objectives and development of Informatics textbooks.

Validation of Onen's Alternative Grading System for Congenital Hydronephrosis (선천성 수신증을 위한 Onen 등급 분류법의 임상적인 타당성)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the validity of Onen's alternative grading system (AGS) with that of the APDRP and SFU grading systems in patients with isolated and complicated congenital hydronephrosis. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 153 patients (204 renal units) diagnosed with congenital hydronephrosis between January 2002 and December 2011. We classified patients into 2 groups; isolated or complicated hydronephrosis. All renal units were graded according to anterior-posterior diameter of renal pelvis (APDRP), Society for Fetus Urology (SFU) and Onen's grading systems. We analyzed the prognosis of hydronephrosis, according to each grading system, at 2 years of age. Results: There were 152 renal units with isolated hydronephrosis and 52 renal units with complicated hydronephrosis. The isolated hydronephrosis group had a lower grade according to Onen's AGS, and showed more frequent spontaneous remission by 2 years of age. There was more frequent obstruction (P =0.000) and surgical treatment (P =0.000) of units with high-grade hydronephrosis according to Onen's AGS. In the complicated hydronephrosis group the frequencies of spontaneous remission (P =0.015) and renal dysfunction (P =0.013) were significantly higher than those in high-grade hydronephrosis, as indicated by Onen's AGS. There were no significant differences in clinical outcomes among the highest grade groups, according to the 3 systems, in either isolated or complicated hydronephrosis. Conclusion: Onen's AGS reflects the prognosis of hydronephrosis as well as other grading systems in those with isolated hydronephrosis. It was better predictor of renal dysfunction in those with complicated hydronephrosis. However, Onen's AGS was not superior to the other grading systems in terms of predicting prognosis, especially in high-grade hydronephrosis.

  • 최근, 게임시장의 활성화가 가속화 되면서 게임을 이용하는 유저들이 매우 늘어났다. 이에 따라 게임은 하나의 문화로 정립되었다. 그러나 게임문화에 맞는 정확한 분류와 표준안이 존재하지 않아 새로운 게임의 장르 구분을 명확히 하지 못하는 문제점이 생겨났다. 본 논문에서는 기존연구의 분류법으로는 구분할 수 없는 장르의 분류를 위해 기존의 게임장르 분류법을 기반으로 체계적인 분류를 더한 게임장르 분류법을 소개한다.
