Automated Test Data Generation for Dynamic Branch Coverage (동적 분기 커버리지를 위한 테스트 데이터 자동 생성)

  • In order to achieve high test coverage, it is usual to generate test data using various techniques including symbolic execution, data flow analysis or constraints solving. Recently, a technique for automated test data generation that fulfills high coverage effectively without those sophisticated means has been proposed. However, the technique shows its weakness in the generation of test data that leads to high coverage for programs having branch conditions where different memory locations are binded during execution. For certain programs with flag conditions, in particular, high coverage can not be achieved because specific branches are not executed. To address the problem, this paper presents dynamic branch coverage criteria and a test data generation technique based on the notion of dynamic branch. It is shown that the proposed technique compared to the previous approach is more effective by conducting experiments involving programs with flag conditions.

  • Branching processes which is used for epidemic dispersion as stochastic process model have advantages to estimate parameters by real data. We have to estimate both mean and dispersion parameter in order to use the negative binomial distribution as an offspring distribution on branching processes. In existing studies on biology and epidemiology, it is estimated using maximum-likelihood methods. However, for most of epidemic data, it is hard to get the best precision of maximum-likelihood estimator. We suggest a Bayesian inference that have good properties of statistics for small-sample. After estimating dispersion parameter we modelled the posterior distribution for 2015 Korea MERS cases. As the result, we found that the estimated dispersion parameter is relatively stable no matter how we assume prior distribution. We also computed extinction probabilities on branching processes using estimated dispersion parameters.

  • This paper described the design and fabrication of broadband 4-way $90^{\circ}$ power divider which has a $90^{\circ}$ phase difference between output ports in 20${\sim}$100 MHz VHF-band. A 4-way $90^{\circ}$ power divider was designed using 4-way in-phase power divider which consisted of three 2-way in-phase power dividers and two second-order all pass filters which gives $90^{\circ}$ phase difference between output ports. The measured insertion loss was less then 6.6 dB, return loss and isolation were better than 19 dB, and phase error between $90^{\circ}$ phase difference outputs was less than ${\pm}$1$^{\circ}$.

  • 최근 기후변화로 인한 강우사상의 변화로 가뭄 발생 횟수와 기간이 늘어나는 추세이다. 2013~2018년 전국적으로 장기적인 가뭄이 발생함에 따라 상수도 미 급수 지역에 대한 추가 용수 공급방안을 적용하여 지역 주민의 물 이용 문제를 해결한 바 있다. 장기적으로 물 이용에 대한 갈등이 심화될 것으로 예상되는 가운데 지하수자원의 취약성에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 기존의 연구에서는 주로 지역적인 특성을 반영할 수 있는 매개변수를 설정하고 매개변수 별가중치를 산정하여 공간적인 지하수자원 이용 취약성 평가를 실시하였다. 공간적인 취약성 평가결과는 지하수자원 이용 시기 결정 및 대체 수자원 이용 정책 결정 등 구체적인 대안을 마련하는 근거로서 한계가 있기 때문에 최근 지하수자원 이용에 대한 시간적인 취약성 평가 방법을 개발하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 보다 구체적인 지하수자원 이용 시기를 결정하기 위하여 금강 유역을 대상으로 분기 별 지하수자원 이용 취약 시기 평가 방법을 개발하였다. 분기 별 지하수자원 이용 취약 시기평가 방법을 개발하기 위하여 우선 연구지역의 지하수위, 하천수위, 강수량 자료를 수집하였다. 수문 관측자료 간의 관계 분석을 통해 물 순환 측면에서의 물리적인 의미를 규명하기 위하여 강수량 자료에 한계침투량 개념을 적용한 강우이동평균 방법을 적용하였고, 하천수위 자료에 대하여 이동평균 방법을 적용하였다. 분기 단위의 지하수자원 이용 취약 시기를 평가함으로써 금강 유역의 지하수자원 이용 취약 시기를 결정하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 공간적인 취약성 평가 방법과 함께 지하수자원 이용 취약성에 대한 시공간적 분석 결과를 제공함으로써 보다 구체적인 지역 별분기 단위 지하수자원 이용 취약 시기를 결정하고, 지역 맞춤형 지하수자원 이용 및 개발 정책에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Cause analysis of the electric train derailment occurred in turnout on a sharp curves. (급곡선 분기기에서 발생한 전동열차 탈선사고의 원인분석)

  • It is generally not preferable to install a turnout on a sharp curves but it is not desirable for the safety of a train. However, in a mountainous area or a depot where a sufficient space can not be secured to secure a straight line. In this study, in order to analyze the cause of train derailment accident that occurred in the place where turnout is installed in a sharp curves, we performed derailment analysis using line data and accident vehicle data measured at the location where the accident occurred. This derailment coefficient maximum turnout at the start of the track and derailment curve analysis showed that even big enough to cause a derailment as 1.37 in size, which was found to be consistent with the actual site survey results derailment occurred.

General inflation and bifurcation analysis of rubber balloons (고무풍선의 일반화 팽창 및 분기 해석)

  • Several typical hyper-elastic constitutive models that encompass both conventional and advanced ones were investigated for the application of instability problems, including the biaxial tension of a rubber patch and inflation of spherical or cylindrical balloons. The material models included the neo-Hookean model, Mooney-Rivlin model, Gent model, Arruda-Boyce model, Fung model, and Pucci-Saccomandi model. Analyses can be done using membrane equations with particular strain energy density functions. Among the typical strain energy density functions, Kearsley's bifurcation for the Treloar's patch occurs only with the Mooney-Rivlin model. The inflation equation is so generalized that a spherical balloon and tube balloons can be taken into account. From the analyses, the critical material parameters and limit points were identified for material models in terms of the non-dimensional pressure and inflation volume ratio. The bifurcation was then identified and found for each material model of a balloon. When the finite element method was used for the structural instability problems of rubber-like materials, some careful treatments required could be suggested. Overall, care must be taken not only with the analysis technique, but also in selecting constitutive models, particularly the instabilities.

Study on Optimal Design of Traverse Switch System for Maglev Train (자기부상열차용 트레버스 분기기 최적설계 연구)

  • Emergency tracks are necessary in case a broken down train evacuates, a train needs to make way for a faster train behind it, or a train suddenly stops and following trains must avoid colliding with it. Magnetic Levitated (maglev) Trains can change track to enter an emergency track using a segmented switch or a traverse switch. On a traverse switch, a train can change its track when the part of the track that the train is on moves to the other track. Currently manufactured Maglev trains have two bodies and the total length is 25 meters. If a traverse switch is used, it will only require 30 meters of track to move the train to the other track, so, when it comes to efficiency of costs and space, the traverse switch surpasses the articulated switch. Therefore, in this paper, an optimized design to secure structural safety and weight lightening is suggested. To achieve these results, the heights of the piled concrete and girders which are both placed on the top of the traverse switch, are set as design variables. The Finite Element Method (FEM), in application of kriging and in the design of the experiments (DOE), is used. Maximum stress, deformation, and structural weight are compared with the results, and through this process structural safety and weight lightening is proven.

Comparative Study of Bifurcation Behavior of Rubber in Accordance with the Constitutive Equations (구성방정식에 따른 고무 분기점 거동 비교 연구)

  • Modeling of rubber for design or analysis often requires confusing or complex work because there are a large number of constitutive models to be considered. Some models have few material constants, while others have many. Researchers have to prepare and fit extensive experimental data with caution and discretion. In this paper, we first compared some typical rubber models in which deformation was carried out by stretching up to around eight times the original size. We conclude that continuum-based models and chain molecular models can be used in the study of the small deformation in most engineering applications, but chain molecular models are preferred in the study of the large deformations in most biomaterial applications. As discrimination problems, Treloar's patch and cylindrical balloon stick are tested theoretically and numerically for studying bifurcation. In the case of Treloar's patch, by using the Kearsley's equation, we show that bifurcation exists for continuum-based models but not for chain molecular models. Both models show bifurcation in the cylindrical balloon stick. Therefore, in the analysis of the bifurcation of rubber showed that its existence also depends on the constitutive model selected.
