2018년 싱가포르에서 북미 정상회담이라는 역사적인 이벤트가 성사되었다. 2019년 1월 1일, 김정은 북한 국무위원장이 "미국 대통령과 언제든 또다시 마주 앉을 용의가 있다"는 신년사를 발표했고 트럼프 대통령이 이에 화답하며 이후 양측 간 실무 협상이 이뤄졌다. 그 결과 2월 말, 양국 정상은 베트남 하노이 2차 정상회담에서 마주할 수 있었다. 그러나 회담은 별다른 성과 없이 결렬됐다. 6월에는 갑작스러운 남-북-미 DMZ 회동이 이뤄졌으나 북한이 갑작스레 수차례 미사일 도발을 감행하며 북미 관계는 다시 교착 상태에 빠지게 됐다. 이후 10월에는 북한 비핵화 협상을 위한 북미 양측의 실무접촉이 스웨덴 스톡홀름에서 진행됐지만 이 또한 뚜렷한 성과를 도출하지 못했다. 양측 모두 현재까지 제3차 북미 정상회담에 대한 가능성은 열어놓은 상태다. 본 경제자료에서는 2019년 북미관계 주요 내용을 정리하고자 한다. 첫 번째 장에서는 하노이 제2차 북미정상회담의 과정과 내용을 정리한다. 두 번째 장에서는 하노이 회담 이후 북미 관계를 살펴보고 남북미 정상 판문점 회동의 과정을 정리해 본다. 세 번째 장에서는 스톡홀름 북미 실무협상 전 북한의 미사일 발사와 함께 실무협상 전개의 주요사항을 정리한다. 본 자료는 다양한 언론 보도를 근거로 재구성하여 제공한다

There is a growing interest in user-centered classification or reader-interest classification, as questions have arisen from the meanings and the effects of traditional library classification. American public libraries have used fiction genre classification called bookstore model as an alternative to the traditional classification schemes. As a result, accessibility to the collection was promoted and library service for their users was improved. This study intends to make a comprehensive inquiry about the philosophical background and functional features of genre classification. To the end, literature survey and interviews or e-mails with librarians in American public libraries were conducted.

The objectives of this research is to compare UX elements influencing the satisfaction of users in Korea and North America according to product types of mobile commerce services, to determine UX INDEX suitable for each type of service, and to derive positively influencing UI factors through analyzing the relationship between UX INDEX and UX design detail factors. This research showed that there was difference in perceived reliability according to selling product types and there was difference in both perceived usefulness and reliability according to users in Korea and North America. Also, this research found out that, in analysis of relationship between UX INDEX and UX design detail factors, UI factors to understand a service structure generally showed close relationship but factors such as troubleshooting and help showed difference between users in Korea and users in North America.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the growth trends and volatility of exports in Asia, North America, Europe, Central and South America, Middle East and Africa since 2010. And analyze the correlation and model analysis to find out future directions of development. As a result of the analysis, it showed high export share in Asia, North America, Europe, Central and South America, Middle East and Africa. Asia, North America, Europe showed a relatively high rate of increase in exports and the month-on-month rate of change was stable in Asia and North America. In order to increase our exports through this research, we should pay much attention to export improvement to Asia, North America and Europe. Especially, Asia's exports account for more than 50%, so it seems necessary to plan export enhancement to China, Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India. Although the proportion of exports is not large yet, much attention needs to be paid to new markets in Central and South America, the Middle East and Africa. And I look forward to systematic progress in export promotion.

이번에 한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 SK텔레콤을 비롯한 12개 기관 19명으로 구성된 참관단을 구성하여 National Online Meeting과 newMedia 2000 을 참관하게 되었다. 이번 참관의 목적은 정보서비스의 발전 현황을 파악하여 선진기술을 습득하고 업체간 협력관계 충전을 도모하는 것이었다. 5월 16일부터 5월 18일가지 미국 뉴욕 힐튼호텔에서 열렸던 National Online Meeting은 올해로 21번째를 맞이하는 북미 최대의전자정보 전시회이고 newMedia 2000은 5월 16일부터 18일까지 카나다 토론토 컨벤션 센터에서 개최된 전시회로 올해로 9회째를 맞는 뉴미디어와 멀티미디어 제품을 전시하는 북미 최대의 전시회이다.

Combining recent advances in causal flows with time series analysis, relationships among eight North American natural gas spot market prices are examined. Results indicate that price discovery tends to occur in excess demand regions and move to excess supply regions. Across North America, the U.S. Midwest region represented by Chicago spot market is the most important market for price discovery. The Ellisburg-Leidy Hub in Pennsylvania is important in price discovery, especially for markets in the eastern two-thirds of the U.S. Malin Hub in Oregon is important for the western markets including the AECO Hub in Alberta, Canada.

인류의 해양에 대한 의존도가 점차 높아지면서 해양과 인류의 관계를 이해하고 이를 통해 해양의 지속가능성을 유지하기 위한 해양교육은 외국뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 더욱 활발하게 진행되어 가는 추세이다. 북미의 경우 해양교육의 증가에 비례하여 해양교육에 대한 연구도 양적으로 급격히 증가하였음은 물론이고 그 방법 또한 매우 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 연구란 연구자가 가진 패러다임, 존재론, 인식론을 기반으로 이루어지므로 이에 대해 개략적으로 고찰한 뒤 양적, 질적, 혼합 방법론이 지닌 장점과 제한점을 논의한다. 해양교육과 관련된 북미의 연구논문들(1980년~ 2011년)을 대상으로 연구자들이 사용한 다양한 연구방법 및 디자인을 연구사례와 함께 소개하여 한국에서의 해양교육 연구 설계를 위한 참고자료를 제공한다.
