  • 도시와 산업의 발달 및 인구의 도시 집중화로 다양한 종류의 오염물질이 다량으로 대기 중으로 배출되는 등 환경오염이 사회의 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 특히 대기 중 10 $\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 미세입자들은 10~60 % 정도가 기도를 지나 폐까지 침투하여 폐포에 침착되기 때문에 인체에 해를 끼칠 수도 있다(Chow et al., 1996). 또한 월드컵 개최 1년여를 앞두고 환경부에서 차량 부제시행, 배출업소 가동율 조정등 대기오염 저감을 위한 대책의 시행효과, 문제점 등을 파악하여 대책을 보완하기 위해 5월 25일부터 6월 25일까지 1개월 동안 예행연습을 실시하였다. A Study on Pedestrian Priority Actuated Signal Control Considering Waiting Time for Walking and Pedestrian Stress (보행대기시간과 보행자스트레스를 고려한 보행자우선 감응신호 운영방안 연구)

  • Since the operation of an reft-turn actuated signal driven mainly by vehicles may increase the waiting time for walking, this signal causes inconvenience or stress to pedestrians. Therefore, in this study, the change in waiting time for walking before and after the application of an reft-turn actuated signal and the stress on the pedestrians were investigated through a questionnaire. The investigation showed that the waiting time for walking increased by 37% during non-peak time. Also the waiting time for walking of 62.1% of pedestrians became longer and 78% of them were stressed because of it. Meanwhile, simulation(VISSIM) showed that the vehicle travel speed slightly decreased to 1.07km/h(a 2.5% decrease), and the average waiting time for walking decreased by 15.51sec(a 28% decrease) with a pedestrian priority actuated signal. Therefore, it is expected that the pedestrian priority actuated signal can reduce the waiting time for walking and relieve pedestrian stress.

Determination of Not-Permitted Entrance/Exit Section at Curb Areas (단지 내 진출입 불허구간의 적정길이 산정에 관한 연구)

  • At present, many problems in traffic operation and safety occurs since there is no clear design criteria on designating the not-permitted entrance/exit section at curb areas within complex areas. Even, there is no specific and detailed researches on the not-permitted entrance/exit section by now. This research calculated the proper length of the entrance/exit section at curb areas by dividing the access not-permitted section into the two sections. First, the calculation of the entrance section was done by considering the location of crosswalks, stop line clearance, the queue length of vehicles approaching to second lanes, and marginal distance for safety have been considered. Second, the calculation of the exit section was done by comparing and analyzing the distance between cars of the entrance section according to the investigation point and the distance considering the location of crosswalks, the behavior of exit vehicles and the length of vehicles. In conclusion, by presenting the proper length in consideration of the traffic operation and safety on the access not-permitted section within complex areas, it can be used as a traffic safety improvement alternative and will be contributed in establishing and operating the proper installation criteria for the access not-permitted section within complex areas.

  • With the advent of smartphones, people can access various information through the internet anytime and anywhere. Even in the vehicle environment, users can use the internet. Users interact with web and applications every day and get information. However, as the amount of data to be processed by the program increases, users inevitably receive a message to wait. User waiting is an inconvenient experience, but minimizing user waiting is the best way because there is time required for data processing. However, if the service processing time exceeds the expected time, users experience more severe boredom and pain. Therefore, various methods and researches are being conducted to alleviate the boredom of user waiting. The most commonly used method to alleviate user waiting boredom is loading. In this study, we investigated the effect of skeleton loading, the latest loading technique, on user waiting experience, and how attractive it is as a design technique in terms of UI compared to other loading techniques.

  • 위험물 차량사고는 일반차량의 교통사고시 발생하는 인명피해, 재산피해, 교통지체 외에 부가적으로 환경적 영향에 의한 엄청난 인명 및 재산손실을 유발시킬 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 위험물차량사고를 예방하고 피해를 최소로 줄이기 위해서는 위험물수송경로의 신중하고 체계적인 결정이 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 외국의 경우, 위험물의 방출이 미치는 환경적 영향에 대한 인식이 확대되면서 위험물 수송시 응급처리에 관한 연구, 위험물 수송에 따른 위험도 평가에 관한 연구, 위험물 수송시 고려해야할 여러 조건에 관한 연구, 위험물 수송경로 설정에 관한 연구 등이 진행되고 있다. 반면에 우리 나라는 위험물차량관리와 사고처리에 대해 실시간적인 관리를 목표로 하는 국가차원의 계획을 수립하고는 있지만, 현재 이와 관련된 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 앞으로 산업발달에 따른 위험물수송량의 증가와 환경의식의 변화에 따라 위험물수송 및 사고처리 등에 관한 연구가 필요할 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 위험물차량의 운송경로를 결정할 때 고려해야 할 여러 가지의 기준 및 목표에 따라 위험물수송경로를 설정하는 모형을 제시함으로써 위험물수송에 수반되는 위험을 최소화하면서 위험물차량의 통행시간, 거리, 비용 등을 최적화하여 위험물수송의 안전 및 운영효율성을 향상시키고자 한다. 먼저, 위험물 수송경로의 기준지표로 사용될 위험도를 산정하기 위해 링크 주변노출인구, 밀도 등을 변수로 하는 모형식을 제안하고, 두 번째로 산정된 위험도를 기반으로 최적경로를 결정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 가상 네트웍에 본 연구에서 제안된 모형을 적용하고 현재 일반적으로 사용되는 최단경로와 비교·분석하였다.것은 운송거리와 운송비용이 각각 주요한 변수라는 것이다. 모형의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서는 logilikelihood 값을 구하여 $\rho$^2분석을 시행하였다. 여기서는 각 품목별로 $\rho$^2값이 약 0.15~0.3의 비교적 높은 수치를 보여주고 있으므로 모형의 설명력이 어느 정도 있다는 것이 아울러 증명이 되었다. 상관관계에 대한 분석에서는 영업용 차량간의 상관관계가 높게 나타났으며, 이는 곧 영업용 화물차량을 적재중량별로 구분하는 것이 별 의미가 없음을 의미한다. 다시 말하면 자가용 차량을 보유하고 있지 않은 회사는 다른 운송전문업체에 화물운송을 의뢰하게 되므로 출하중량에 따라 화물차량을 구분하는 것에 대해서 그다지 큰 고려를 하지 않는 것으로 해석할 수가 있다.적합함을 재확인함. 6. 혼잡초기를 제외한 혼잡기간 중 대기행렬길이는 밀도데이터 없이도 혼잡 상류부의 도착교통량과 병목지점 본선통과교통량만을 이용하여 추정이 가능함. 7. 이상에 연구한 결과를 토대로, 고속도로 대기행렬길이를 산정할 수 있는 기초적인 도형을 제시함.벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압

  • Owing to the present problems of air pollution and fossil fuel exhaustion, ongoing research has been actively focused on developing an electric actuator system that can utilize diverse energy sources without producing any exhaust gas. Since the motors of such electric vehicles generally rotate at a high speed, the initial acceleration capability required for an automobile is insufficient. In this study, the motor output was decelerated by the transmission; the initial acceleration of the vehicle was increased, and the motor size and weight were reduced. The driving motor and transmission, which each form isolated structures, were integrated to simplify the connector for input and output. By reducing the cooling system's capacity, a vehicle was designed and manufactured that represents a structural change in effective technology.

Construction of an Estimation Model for Intersection Queue Length (교차로의 대기행렬 예측모형구축에 관한 연구)

  • In this research, a model was developed for estimating the queue length of vehicles, based on occupancy time of each vehicle collected by loop detectors which were setup at the upstream of urban street. The estimation model suggestes a method which minimizes architectural effects of the street, such as existence of pedestrian crossing, for future applications to the field. The estimation model suggested in this research was established based on real traffic data collected at up-stream detectors in Kangnam Subway station, Seoul, and the formula of the model is based on Multi-Polynomial equations. Consequence of the experiments showed that the model can adequately and in real-time mode measure length of the queue which were constructed at the 80 to 90 meters away from the upstream detectors. The estimation accuracy of the model was verified in statistical analysis conducted by regressing analysis and test results in real traffic situation.

  • This paper aims to develop an integrated urban freeway exit-intersection actuated traffic signal control strategy based on which a real-time detection of queue at each of an exit-ramp and an arterial. To evaluate effects of the proposed actuated traffic signal control according to various traffic situations and geometric conditions, this paper analyzed the effects of the proposed traffic signal control strategy according to traffic situations such as the occasion of the arterial being saturated, the occasion of the exit-ramp being saturated, and the occasion of both the arterial and the exit-ramp being saturated. To reflect geometric conditions that influence the effects of the control strategy, this paper evaluated effects before and after applying the actuated traffic signal control strategy according to six cases for both above and under the downstream link length of 200m as proposed by COSMOS. The study results shown that when the link length above 200m, offered a greater effect of applying the actuated traffic control strategy than below 200m. Thus, the actuated traffic signal control through a real-time detection of queue is expected to offer a greater effect at longer downward link.

  • A tram has been the focus of a new public transportation that can solve a traffic jam, decreasing of public transit usage and environmental problem in recent years. This study aims to develop a signal optimization model for considering the traffic signal progression of tram and vehicles, when they are operated simultaneously in the same signalized intersections. This research developed the KS-SIGNAL-Tram model to obtain a minimum tram bandwidth and to minimize a vehicle's delay to perform a tram passive signal priority, it is based on the KS-SIGNAL model and is added to the properties of a tram and it's system. We conducted a micro simulation test to evaluate the KS-SIGNAL-Tram model, it showed that the developed optimization model is effective to prevent a tram's stop on intersection, to reduce a tram's travel time and vehicle's delay.
