KSTAR 토카막 RF 안테나의 부하와 VSWR

  • KSTAR 토카막$^1$플라즈마의 전류구동을 위한 RF 안테나 설계시 최적 조건을 2차원 파동 코드와 안테나 모듀울(module)을 이용하여 연구하였다 최적 조건을 얻기 위해 플라즈마와 안테나 매개변수 각각에 대한 부하와 전압정재파비(VSWR)의 관계를 살펴보았다. 계산결과로부터, 송전선의 특성저항 $R_{c}$=50$\Omega$, 안테나 폴로이달(poloidal) 길이 $A_{pl}$ =1.0m, 안테나 사이의 간격 $w_{d}$=4$^{0}$ 근처에서 최적의 안테나 조건을 갖음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 급격한 산업 발전으로 전려계통의 수요 증가가 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 2007년부터 2020년까지 매년 2.2%씩 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 전력계통의 증대로 고장전류의 크기도 더불어 증가하고 있으며 이는 기존의 차단의 부하 용량을 넘어서고 있다. 따라서 안정적이고 효율적인 고장전류 차단을 위해서 초전도 한류기의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 다양한 초전도 한류기 중에서 순수 저항형 초전도 한류기의 적용 가능한 2세대 고온 초전도 선재들의 특성을 파악하였다. 현재 상용화가 이루어지고 있는 2세대 고온 초전도 선재의 동작 온도에 따른 온도별 비저항, 임계전류, 교류 손실과 단위 길이당 인가 허영 전기장을 을 측정하였다. 상위 과정을 통해서 측정된 각 선재별 특성을 바탕으로 초전도 저항형 한류기에 적용 가능한 선재를 제안하고자 한다.

  • 풍력 발전 시스템에서 정격 풍속 이상의 바람에 대응하기 위해서는 일반적으로 전기적 브레이크와 기계적 브레이크가 요구된다. 기계적 브레이크는 상대적으로 응답성이 느리며 그 시간 동안 발전기 rpm 증가에 따른 DC전압 상승에 대응하는 전기적 브레이크의 역할이 시스템 안정성에 있어 매우 중요한 요소이다. 전기적 브레이크 중에서도 소형풍력 발전시스템에서는 DB(Dynamic Brake)저항을 통해 부하를 걸어주는 방식이 주로 쓰인다. DB 저항 구동에 있어 히스테리시스 루프에 기반한 PWM제어가 일반적으로 통용되는 방식이다. 이러한 방식과 비교하여 제어 안정성, 전압 오버슈트 등의 면에서 우수한 DB저항 제어 방식을 제안하며 히스테리시스 방식과 과도상태 정상상태 특성 비교 및 성능 분석을 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 제시한다.

  • 본 논문은 1차 RC 등가회로를 이용하여 리튬이온 배터리의 저항성 발열인 비가역 발열의 파라미터를 제시하였다. 발열 추정을 위해 1 C-rate에서 HPPC(Hybrid Pulse Power Characterization) 실험을 통하여 비가역 발열의 파라미터인 SOC 5%별 내부 저항을 추출하였다. 추출된 SOC 5%별 저항을 이용하여 1C-rate에서 3C-rate로 변화하는 조건에서 열 추정 성능을 확인하였다. 높은 C-rate로 방전 전류가 변화하는 상황에서 발열 시뮬레이션과 실험값을 비교하였으며, 1C-rate의 HPPC 실험에서 얻어진 내부 저항이 부하의 변동에 따른 리튬이온 배터리의 발열 추정 파라미터로써 사용될 수 있음을 검증하였다.

Design and Analysis of a NMOS Gate Cross-connected Current-mirror Type Bridge Rectifier for UHF RFID Applications (UHF RFID 응용을 위한 NMOS 게이트 교차연결 전류미러형 브리지 정류기의 설계 및 해석)

  • In this paper, a new NMOS gate cross-connected current-mirror type bridge rectifier for UHF RFID applications is presented. The DC converting characteristics of the proposed rectifier are analyzed with the high frequency equivalent circuit and the gate capacitance reduction technique for reducing the gate leakage current due to the increasing of operating frequency is also proposed theoretically by circuitry method. As the results, the proposed rectifier shows nearly same DC output voltages as the existing NMOS gate cross-connected rectifier, but it shows the gate leakage current reduced to less than 1/4 and the power consumption reduced more than 30% at the load resistor, and it shows more stable DC supply voltages for the valiance of load resistance. In addition, the proposed rectifier shows high enough and well-rectified DC voltages for the frequency range of 13.56MHz HF(for ISO 18000-3), 915MHz UHF(for ISO 18000-6), and 2.45 GHz microwave(for ISO 18000-4). Therefore, the proposed rectifier can be used as a general purpose one to drive RFID transponder chips on various RFID systems which use specified frequencies.

  • Use of UV gel for nail management have been increasing gradually. In order to develop an UV lamp necessary to UV gel, in this study, we was designed circuits of the UV-LED lamp. Power supply part that supplies constant power to the several UV-LEDs, was designed the circuit with the method of DC-DC converter. Taking into account the direction of the thumb nail and the position of the little finger nail, it was placed UV-LEDs. Input power of the power supply part was used as a battery voltage of 3.8[V]. The output voltage of the power supply part was appeared in approximately 3.1[V]. And in order to examine the state of change of the output voltage according to the amount of current consumption of UV-LEDs, after inserting of load resister, the output voltage was more than about 3.0[V] in the simulation results of the power supply part while changing the resistance value.

  • A large signal stability analysis of the solar array regulator system is performed to facilitate the design and analysis of a Low-Earth-Orbit satellite power system. The effective load characteristics of every controllable method in the solar array system are classified to analyze the large signal stability. Then, using the state plane analysis technique, the stability of various equilibrium points is analyzed. A nonlinear transformation algorithm, which changes the effective load characteristic of the solar array regulator as constant resistive load, is also proposed for the large signal stability. The proposed resistive current mode control system can control the solar array output for purposes such as peak power tracking control and battery charging control. For the verification of the proposed large signal analysis and resistive current mode control, a solar array regulator system consisting of two 100W parallel module buck converters has been built and tested using a real 200W solar array.

  • The size of low voltage level conductor cables can be installed with a long length just like a aviation field, shall be determined for considering the ampacity of cable and the drop of voltage for the power system. Therefore, The size of the conductor cables may be larger one for considering the tolerable voltage drop comparatively, although the allowable ampacity of the conductor cables may have a margin in comparison with the rated full load current In this case, the conductor cables' allowable ampacity will be very larger than the rated full load current and the generated heat of the conductor will be relatively downed. The conductor cables' alternating current resistance corrected with the maximum allowable temperature of the conductors, has been applied on the general formula for the calculating the voltage drop in determinating the size of low voltage level conductor cables, and the resistance is larger than the resistance corrected with the actual temperature of the conductor cables. This paper was studied for the purpose of the conductor resistance corrected with the actual temperature rise of the conductor and address the economic design formula so that this studies shall minimize the errors which can be occurred in comparison with the general formula and which can be applied in design work for determining the size of low voltage level conductor cables.

  • Recently, the demand of environmentally friendly transportation has increased due to the environmental issues. Electric two-wheeled vehicles do not have the noise pollution nor exhaust gases of vehicles with internal combustion engines. Performance evaluation of an electric two-wheeled vehicle was carried out. A driving test on outdoor roads was performed and a chassis dynamometer was used. The chassis dynamometer simulates the road load of the vehicle. The road load influences the tests using the chassis dynamometer. The differences between the table method and the coasting test for setting the road load was compared and analyzed.
