This study was performed to identify the experience of verbal abuse during in some operating nurse. The study subjects were 176 operating nurse in general hospitals and the data were collected using by self-administered questionnaire from October 17 to October 31, 2011. Multiple regression analysis the experience of verbal abuse and scores of nurses domain in verbal abuse scale were statistically significant related with mental health. In conclusion, the verbal abuse of operating nurses influenced mental health. Therefore, it is required to maintain and promote mental health of operating nurses by developing the various prevention program for preventing verbal abuse.

This study was to identify the influence of job satisfaction on the role clarity perception of the personnels except medical staffs of hospitals. The study subjects of this study were 486 personnels employed in the supporting departments of hospital. As the result of multiple regression analysis, policy decision showed the highest explanatory power on job satisfaction, We would conclude that in order to improve the performance level of hospital by increasing the job satisfaction of their non-medical personnels, the hospital managers should make efforts to raise the role clarity of them. Our study had some limitations. Especially, because measurement scale on job satisfaction used in our study didn't consist of subdivision, our findings would not show which area was more important in improving job satisfaction.

Since the great success of the Disney animations like , the classification of audience target in animation according to an age group started a possibility of edutainment in the industry. Especially, a few animations for preschool children made by Korea have been largely successful in domestic and foreign markets. The study analyzed a distinguished structure of a story stressed by character by Greimas's theories in the educational animation. The animation for kids as this study target is one of successful contents in edutainment. It also analyzed as one of parallel contents in abroad. It is a meaningful study which considers a story structure of the animation as aspects of edutainment contents for preschool children.

Lung transplantation has been successfully employed for variety of obstructive lung disease. Single lung transplantation has become a therapeutic option for end-stage obstructive lung disease. The patient, a 57 year old man with emphysema, suffered from severe dyspnea, which progressively aggravated him for the last three years. A single lung transplantation was performed from a young brain-dead donor on April 7th, 1999 in the department of thoracic surgery, Respiratory Center, Yongdong Severance hospital, yonsei University. The immunosuppressive regimen was based on cyclosporine A and azathioprine from beginning, adding steroid. Single lung transplantation was feasible and beneficial in patients with end-stage emphysema.

The things that you cannot miss when reading Chekhov's plays are "pauses" and ellipses lining up in the middle of the lines. I think what meaning to amplify and how to express a great number of "pauses" and ellipses when one directs Chekhov's works may be a crucial element that makes his works more Chekhov-like. First, proper uses of "pauses" and ellipses may be helpful for determining the characteristics of the characters. So silence in Chekhov drama allows his plays considered relatively lacking actions to become totally different drama texts with musical dynamics, that is, functions as directive or acting material to be treated delicately.

Complex regional pain syndrome is pain disorder which is characterized by aching pain, marked painful sensation, hypothermesthesia, vasomotor dysfunction, hyperhidrosis, impairment of motor function, trophic changes of distal part of not-operated extremity after trauma and operation. Pain produce increased sensitivity to catecholamine and diagnosed by infra red thermography and Treatment consists of pain relief and rehabilitational therapy for functional restoration of affected limb. We experienced a case of complex regional pain syndrome in a 16-year-old man after wedge resection of pulmonary apex for bullae and report this case with a review of the literature.

제7차 교육과정에 따른 중등 과학 교과서 중 화학 영역에 사용된 비유를 분석하였다. 전체 35권의 교과서에서 비유 사용 빈도는 325회로 13쪽마다 평균 1회 사용되었고, 단 한 번만 사용된 비유가 많았다. 유형별로는 기능적 비유, 언어와 그림을 모두 사용한 비유, 추상적 목표물을 구체적 비유물로 설명한 비유, 단순 비유와 부연 비유, 교사 중심 비유, 체계성이 낮은 비유가 많았고, 일상 비유와 작위적 비유가 비슷하게 사용되었다. 교과서 본문 중에 '비유‘라는 용어를 사용한 경우는 적었으며, 제한점에 대한 언급은 거의 없었다. 제6차 교육과정에 따른 과학 교과서에 비하여 쪽 당 비유의 수는 증가하였으나, 표현 방식, 작위성, 학습자 참여성을 제외한 모든 유형에서 비슷한 경향을 나타내었다. 이 결과들에 대한 교육적 시사점을 논의하였다.

Breads and cookies made with conventional or low-trans fat(margarine and shortening) were analyzed by determining their trans fat content, textural properties and color values after production. The trans fatty acids content in conventional margarine was three times higher than that of low-trans margarine. Moreover, the content of trans fatty acids in the conventional shortening was 49 times higher than that of low-trans shortening. The trans fatty acid contents of cookies and breads made with low-trans fat, can be reduced more than 2 to 75 times compared to cookies and breads made with conventional fat. In the produced cookies and breads, the color values and textural properties(hardness, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess and chewiness) did not differ significantly when the conventional fat or low-trans fat was used.

A performance evaluation is made in terms of thrust, impulse bit. and specific impulses for a set of mono-propellant hydrazine thrusters producing 0.95 lbf of nominal thrust at an inlet pressure of 350 psia. With a brief description on the hot-firing test configuration and procedures. a typical data obtained from steady-state firing mode is given directly showing the variational behavior of propellant supply pressure, mass flow rate, vacuum condition, and thrust. The performance features are successfully compared to the reference criteria of 1-lbf standard mono-propellant rocket engine. Additionally. a statistical inter-thruster treatment is concisely depicted for the justification of selected thrusters as a grouped member of flight model for spacecraft propulsion system.
