물질전달과 열전달의 유사성을 이용하는 나프탈렌 승화법을 핵연료집합체 모델에 적용하여 봉다발에서의 국소 열전달 계수의 분포를 측정하였다. 실험 모델은 가압경수형 원자로에서 나타나는 부수로 즉, 벽면 부수로와 모서리 부수로 및 내부 부수로로 구성되는 3$\times$3 봉다발이다. 봉다발에서의 국소 열전달 계수 값은 부수로의 형상과 인접한 봉 및 벽면의 영향이 크게 작용하는 것으로 측정되었다. 내부 부수로에 둘러져 있는 봉에서의 국소 열전달계수값은 봉과 봉 사이에서는 부수로 중심 방향보다 낮았고, 평균열전달계수는 Dittus-Boelter의 상관식보다 약간 낮은 값을 보였다. 벽면 부수로에 인접한 봉에서의 열전달계수는 벽면의 영향으로 내부 부수로에 있는 봉보다 상대적으로 낮았으며, 모서리 부수로의 봉에서는 벽면의 영향이 증대되어 더욱 낮게 나타났다.

For designers, Chinese characters are featured as its unique cultural connotation and the inheritance of information. In visual designs, the beauty of Bushou in form, especially its potential forms, plays an important role and has been applied in various modern designs. There are analyses focused on radicals' roles, as well as its performance and design principles in modern posters in order to figure out how radicals are inherited and developed in posters. Additionally, these researches are conducted to recognize the cultural values of the visual linguistics of Bushou. In this paper, collating of the history and structure of Chinese characters, along with the history, function, classification and meaning of Bushou has been conducted through the method of literature research. The function of Bushou and its potential visual performance means, as well as the objective laws are summarized by analyzing Bushou posters.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of crown numbers on growth and yield of ever-bearing strawberry (Fragaria ${\times}$ ananassa Duch.) 'Goha' cultivar. Strawberry seedlings were planted with $55{\times}30cm$ distance on April 29, and the randomized block experimental was designed by putting the crown numbers by 1, 3, 5 and crown-unremoved as the control. At the early growth stage, as the numbers of crown decreased, the size of leaf became larger and inflorescence diameter became thicker. Plant height became higher as the number of crown increased at the final harvesting time. Fresh weight of crown-unremoved plants was 118 g, showing 77.2 g higher than that of plants with one crown. Numbers of the developed inflorescence of plants with five crowns and crown-unremoved was 20.1, whereas 6.8 of plants with one crown, resulted in 13.3 more crowns. However, crown number did not significantly affect the fruit quality. As the crown number increased, the average fruit weight was lighter and the marketable fruit rate was shown to decrease significantly. The marketable yield of crown-unremoved plants was $17,372kg{\cdot}ha^{-1}$, showing 68% higher than plants with one crown. Therefore, crown management without thinning crowns was recommended and inflorescence thickness less than 3 mm should be removed for successful production of ever-bearing strawberry 'Goha' cultivar during summer season.

지난해 1년 동안 대한출판문화협회(회장 윤형두)를 통해 납본된 신간 도서(2011년 발행일 기준, 정기간행물 및 교과서 등은 제외)의 발행종수는 4만여종이며, 발행부수는 1억 900여만부로 나타났다. 이는 전년도와 비교해볼 때 발행부수가 3% 증가한 것이다.

(사)대한출판문화협회(회장 윤형두)에서 국립중앙도서관 및 국회도서관 납본을 대행하면서, 2011년 상반기(1~6월)기간 도안 수집된 도서를 기준을 출판 통계를 집계했다. 발행된 신간 도서는 종수는 2.3% 소폭 증가한 반면 발행부수는 6.1% 감소했다. 종당 평균발행부수는 약 2500부로 지난해에 비해 8.2% 감소한 수치를 보였다.

내부부수로, 벽면부수로, 모서리부수로를 포함하는 가압경수로형 원자로의 핵연료집합체를 모의하는 3$\times$3 봉다발을 모델로 수치해석을 통해 봉다발 주변의 유동특성을 알아보고 각 봉에서의 원주방향 위치에 따른 국소열전달 특성에 관해 고찰하였다. 봉다발에서 열전달계수의 분포는 벽면영향으로 인한 각 부수로에서의 유속분포와 밀접한 관계가 있으며 내부부수로에 인접한 봉에서 가장 높았고, 그 다음이 벽면부수로, 모서리부수로에 인접한 봉에서는 가장 작게 나타났다. 현재 핵연료의 열수력 설계시에 적용하고 있는 부수고 내의 모든 열수력학적 변수가 일정하다고 가정하는 부수로 해석방법은 봉다발내의 실제 열전달 현상과는 상당한 차이가 있음을 보여주었다.

범용 전산유체해석(computational fluid dynamics) 코드인 CFX를 이용하여 지지격자 형상에 따른 봉다발 부수로에서의 난류유동 수치해석을 수행하였다 ABB와 SIMENS가 각각 개발한 split vane이 부착된 지지격자와 원자력연구소가 개발중인 회전유동 발생장치가 부착된 지지격자를 포함하는 부수로 난류유동을 분석하였다. 각각의 지지격자 형상에 대해 부수로에서의 축방향 속도, 횡방향 속도, 난류 운동에너지, 와류크기와 압력강하 둥을 비교-분석하였다. 세가지 경우 모두 유사한 경향을 나타냈으나 SIMENS split vane의 유동 전향날개가 크기때문에 와류와 압력강하가 다소 크게 예측되었다. 난류 운동에너지와 와류크기는 지지격자 근처에서 현저히 증가한 후 급격히 감소하는 측정결과를 CFX예측결과에서도 확인할 수 있었다. CFX 예측결과는 지지격자 근처에서 실험 결과와 다소 큰 차이를 보였으나 비교적 부수로 유동특성을 잘 나타낸다.

In accurate prediction of cross-flow based on detailed knowledge of the velocity field in subchannels of a nuclear fuel assembly is of importance in nuclear fuel performance analysis. In this study, the low-Reynolds number k-$\varepsilon$ turbulence model has been adopted in too adjacent subchannels with cross-flow. The secondary flow is accurately estimated by the anisotropic algebraic Reynolds stress model. This model was numerically calculated by the finite element method and has been verified successfully through comparison with existing experimental data. Finally, with the numerical analysis of the velocity Held in such subchannel domain, an analytical correlation of the lateral loss coefficient is obtained to predict the cross-flow rate in subchannel analysis codes. The correlation is expressed as a function of the ratio of the lateral How velocity to the donor subchannel axial velocity, recipient channel Reynolds number and pitch-to-diameter.

Purpose: The protein kinase Chk1 is required for cell cycle arrest in response to DNA damage and is shown to play an important role in the G2/M checkpoint. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between microsatellite instability and frameshift mutation of the Chk1 gene in gastric cancers. Materials and Methods: The microsatellite instability was analyzed in 95 primary gastric carcinomas by using microdissection and 6 microsatellite markers. We also peformed single strand conformational polymorphism and sequencing to detect frameshift mutation of the Chk1 gene. Results: We found positive microsatellite instability in 19 (20%) of the 95 gastric cancers, 13 high- and 6 low-frequency microsatellite instability cases. The frameshift mutation of Chk1, which resulted in a truncated Chk1 protein, was detected in two high-frequency microsatellite instability cases. Conclusion: These data suggest that the microsatellite instability may contribute to the development of gastric carcinomas through inactivation of Chk1.

HP Workstation 및 IBM PC에서 사용 가능한 부수로 해석 코드 MATRA $\alpha$-버전을 개발하였다. 이 코드는 정확도 향상 및 사용자 편리를 위해 COBRA-IV-I코드에 비해 여러가지 기능들이 추가되었으며, 코드의 적용 범위를 신형원자로의 비정방형 집합체 노심에 확장할 수 있도록 압력손실 모형 등이 개선되었다. 또한 이상 유동장에서의 예측 정확도 향상을 위하여 부수로 잔의 횡방향 전달 모형을 개선하였다. 코드의 예측 성능을 평가하기 위해 세 중류의 집합체 유동분포 및 엔탈피 분포 실험 자료와 비교하였으며, 그 결과 기존의 COBRA-IV-I코드보다 향상된 결과를 보였다.
